Timber's Epi Smash

Also, IC - when do you typically notice the reduction in gyno when you run your epithio cycles? Just curious, because I'm debating when to start to raise my calories and carbos - and figured the reduction in gyno would also go hand-in-hand with the "active period" of the compound.

The reduction has always started for me in Week 3. Usually a few days into it.

Great numbers on the BB rows. I can't do that movement to save my life. I always feel like I'm gonna topple over. And then half the time I strain my lower back on them. This damn lumbar of mine is a PITA.

Funny you say that dude... I've noticed over the past 6 months a vast improvement in the front of my shins... whatever that muscle is. Big part of that is from stabalizing myself on heavy lifts like deads / Bent Row...

Nice. There is actually a lone apparatus to work it at my gym. Its like a reverse calf raise where you pull your toes forward... I use it on occasion - I'm about the only one.

thats a weird machine. does your gym have the neck machine than can work the neck 4 ways?

Funny, they make older people work that muscle because it makes them less prone to tripping because they lift their toes up when walking. I just set a 25lb plate on my toes and lift.

Everything in balance Vol...

Your Bent rows are getting pretty strong brotha. I've since backed off a bit because I was doing that deadlift centered back workout and couldn't do BB rows to save my life after my deads. Looks like we are both gonna be rowin' 225 here in a week or two!

I had this guy today with skinny ass legs tell me that i was about to use his squat machine.

His ID with E-8 was "holding it". One of those types that walks around the gym and talks with random people. Reminds me of that Dane cook joke when the person in line at wal greens left his shoe to hold his place.

So i tell him lets go. Put 300 on there and lets go. He laughed and i bounced leaving him with, "You need the extra work".

Oh sh**********t!! I wanted to see the rest of that vid when he tries to step back on it.

Hell yeah!

You'll notice Deads are absent due to the shin injury... but I still do them before deadlifts, so I have plenty of juice.

Awesome... Seriously dude.

I had some trainer boot me out of a power rack the other night so his client could do some hanging pullups with his feet hanging off the end. Try to visualize... Feet resting on the top of the rack, with arms holding two parallel bars with a palms in grip... So essentially just working the same muscles as DB rows, but of course bad trainers do exercises with clients they couldn't do on their own.

Then I tried to work in-between and he said I needed to wait until they were done because he was supersetting with a tricep exercise. I was like, "yeah, f*ck that" and worked in anyway... Couple of the good trainers got a kick out of that.

Damn that would have fired me up. I probably would have just racked up 315 and just gone to town on deadlifts right next to them, slamming weights around, spitting and cussing the whole time. I'm surprised you didn't shove him over a bench or something. At least he wasn't hitting on you right? (That joke goes waaaay back to the original Timber rant for those of you who don't remember)

The trainers at my gym these days are actually really polite to me.

Thats ridiculous! Im surprised you didn't smack that punk, lol. That is why Im happy working out in my garage, I don't have to deal with crap like that. Plus I can play MY music as loud as I please:aargh4:

I couldn't tolerate the BS so I made my own gym at home. Came too close to A&B far too often!!

Me too... the ones that know what they are doing.

This guy is one of the freaking douchebags that probably trains people for free. He came up to me after his client left all "sorry bout that bro, you know how clients are"....

Eat me.

Haha, i remember reading that on the Mdrol Massacre.

It was actually pretty funny. He would squat 135, then add 5, then 10, then 25, then 2.5. I was like WTF is this guy doing? The guy does 8 sets of 10 on curls. He has like 15 inch arms. Total overtrainer. Walks around flexing, talking about the burn. I WISH i was deadlifting today. I would have prolly broke 5 bills.

LOL... if his client was so serious about his supersets he wouldn't be using a trainer.

He deserves a ro-sham-bo for that one.

"Oh the burn! The sweet burn!... I don't know if you heard me, but I did over a thousand."

I guess corey hill had the same philosophy... look at him now.

I saw that fight with Papa Snoop Hill. There's a couple good low kick, bone breakers and they're all nasty, but in a cool, f'ed up way.
