HEY EVERYBODY IM BACK! I had my first workout yesterday. Supprisingly after being sick for a bunch of days i only lost about 1-2 lbs. My strength was about the same as it normally is. I couldnt hardly eat anything the first day i was sick. I thought for sure i was gonna lose like 5 lbs.

Anyway, yesterdays workout went like this:

SHoulders
135lbs upright row, 2 rest pause sets, 5 reps pause 2 reps
135lbs militar press, 1 set, 2 reps
25lbs bent over raises, 2 sets, 13 reps pause 5 reps
FAce pulls (forgot the stats)

Power cleans 2 sets, 135lbs, 7 reps
Bent over row, 135 lbs, (forgot reps, around 8)

Nice workout mang! Diggin the power cleans!!

Hope you stay well now! No more gettin sick!!!

thanks teggy, those power cleans hit my traps at an unusual angle, LOVE IT!!!

UPDATE: My chest is still messed up, it is getting knowticably smaller and i am tired of waiting, i want to work it out!! does anyone think that lightweight easy workouts could be beneficial? Or is it possable that if the injury in my chest is with the connective tissue, that i could damage it more?

NOTE: I've been off glycobol since i have been sick. So it has been a couple days since my last dose. I'm thinking of starting it up again later this week when i get back in to the swing of things.

Nice to see ya back in action man!!! I'd get your chest checked out by someone in the know, no point messing yourself up for the rest of your life. I'm not saying people in this forum aren't in the know, It's kinda like saying your car has a problem and me asking you to hold the phone up to the exhaust to see if I can diagnose it. Somebody on scene wiht hands-on is the best approach, I can only speculate. Best of luck, and great to see ya on again!!

thanks buddy, ill look into getting it checked out. But i fear my regular doctor wont know anything about weight training injurys. He's probably just going to take and x ray and say "just lay off it for a few more weeks until it feels better"

but actually it has been feeling a good amount better. I just fear it will take another month to be 100% again....

Shoulder injury right? Take one week of training like this:

M: Legs
T: Core and Cardio
W: Off
Th: Legs
F: Core and Cardio
S n S: Off

Ice your shoulder 2-3 times per day and use NSAIDS (iburprofen, tylenol) every day.

Resume your normal routine the following week. If it still hurts, it's time to go to the doc. Your pcp can get you an x-ray, a cortisone shot, and a PT script. Go that route for about 1 month. If that fails, get an MRI and referred to an orthopedic phsyician. That's the correct way to do it.

I'd try and stay away from cortisone shots if possible. Not a big fan of them, but it's based more from repeated use than a single application, so once might not be as bad. Lots of people and DR's use the shots to treat the symptoms, not the cause. I meant no offense to celc5 by posting this, it's just my opinion.

+1.

No offense taken and I agree. At the same time, I doubt that any physicians make a habit of it anymore though. Most I ever see is 3 spaced about 3-6 weeks apart.

IMO the "too many cortisone shots" is a problem from the past that I haven't seen occur in the last 3-4 years. I could be wrong though and just haven't seen the problem by chance???

Btw Buster, I'd give the same advice for the pec strain. Give it 7 days, get the swelling down with ice and NSAIDS (even if you don't "see" swelling). If that doesn't clear it up, then it's time for the doc.

I just fear it will take another month to be 100% again....

never think that. ever. that's a quick way to make that a reality - the mind is a very powerful beast, and just like weights "whether you think you can, or whether you think you can't, you're probably right". don't set yourself up for failure man.

also, electrostatic (TENS unit) helped me out quite a lot when my shoulder got silly on me. not to say it works for everyone, but exhaust every option you can if its cheap and causes no long term damage. don't try every option at once though :)

CHEST DAY - NO PAIN

I WORKED OUT MY CHEST TODAY PAIN FREE:birthday::slomo:
wooooohoooooooo

I did feel a little pain in my chest, but i kept my shoulder blades back, avoided fast jerking movements and there was virtually no pain throughout my entire workout. i kept the weight fairly low, but i did at one point bench 225 for 3 reps. The coach/overseer for the strength and condition lab at my college approached me today and asked me how the injury was and i told him it was better. It feels good that so many individuals actually care about me and my injury. And now to the workout

Chest: 12 sets
Bench 135lbs, 25 reps: 225 lbs, 3 reps: 135lbs, 12 reps
Incline 135lbs, 10 reps, 9 reps, 8 reps
Cable x 40 lbs, 10 reps, 8 reps, 6 reps
pullovers 55 lbs, 8 reps, 7 reps, 5 reps

Abs: 7 sets
decline twists, 20 lbs, 30 reps, 20 reps
side bends, 70 lbs, 15 reps
crunches, 30 reps, 30 reps
hanging leg raises, 20 reps, 15 reps

How did my chest go from hurting from benching the bar only, and 5 days later able to do a full chest routine? I dont know, is it possable the ZMA I been taking for the past 3 days did the trick? or the extra glutamine or protein? cuz seriously, 5 days ago i couldnt immagine this would be possable.

weight: 161 lbs :(

supplements: protein, creatine, zma, glutamine, beta alanine. Will soon add in glycobol, and possably t-911.

Woohoo! Pain free is the way to be!!! Glad to see your doing better man!!!

thanks buddy. Suncloud seems to think it was the glutamine i was taking. No joke, when i was sick i tried doing a few pushups and my left pec hurt real bad near my armpit, from a lousy pushup. I started taking ZMA and Glutamine, 3 days later i had a full chest workoutwith no pain and actually benched 225 at one point.

I think what caused my injury was the jerking motions of benchin 135lbs. 30 reps. I was throwing the bar up and down so fast, it was bouncing, i wasnt really getting a full range of motion and it was jerking my chest mucles down real hard. I think that is what set it off. So I'll avoid that from now on.

The mind is a powerfull thing. I just got my twin pack of JP8. Thanks again for logging ur supps Buster. This should be a good workout today. I am wired already from JP8.

Review: no JP8 today. afraid the stomach is still too fragile to consume this. I did consume glycobol however and got some near painful pumps in the gym! Upping my carb intake and hope to see some nice results. Weight is still the same. 161

i still don't know why you're getting painful pumps...

maybe mine are just so much more enjoyable because of the taurine i'm taking as well?

have you been getting an overall sense of well being on this? like you're just happy and nothing can go wrong?

no i wouldnt say the pumps are painful. but my muscles feel so full of blood that it almost hurts from being so expanded you know what i mean? Like not in pain, but just gnarly! Also, yes i do kinda get a little giddy on it. I wouldnt say a real good sense of well being, but i do feel a tiny bit of an elevated mood, not sure this is 100% related to glycobol because i always get in a good mood before/during/after the gym. (i take glycobol pre workout)

hmm

i know what you mean about feeling the blood in the muscle...just sitting here typing this my muscles feel swollen.

i don't know, i'm just in a constant good mood on this...as long as i eat a lot.

thats really good bro. it looks like glycobol is working wonders for you!!!! Honestly, I dont see a HUGE difference on glycobol but I have been looking more define, no weight gain yet though!

hmm...

maybe glycobol just really likes me hahaha

maybe it's mixing with my hypoglycemia for a more positive affect?

idk...

Great to hear your chest is feeling better.

Take the Glycobol after your workout instead of before as you are doing now, if you don't want such intense pumps.

As for weight gain, your not working out for a number of days could be a factor. Also weight/muscle gain is an effect from increased calories and increased tension of the muscles.

If you want to gain more muscle I would suggest you increase your calories by 500 per day.

GOOD LUCK!

as for you natty texan. i always wondered the same thing subconsciously. is it mixing well with your hypoglycemia or something?

Today I'm taking my first dose of T-911, i think i am going to continue to take only 1 serving of glycobol a day with my preworkout meal

Review: The intensity started out high today with the deadlifts(i was pumped). Than my friend comes running into the gym "Bro my car is outa gass we gotta push it, its blocking the entrance!!!!" So some random good samaratin girl drives us to his car, we push while she steers, we push it up a steep driveway(this is a big truck) and im spent. When i finally started to workout again the intensity was real low! i guess that was a good warmup for my friend but after the crazy deadlifts, pushing his car only drained me! I lazily made it through my workout today dispite the glycobol and the t-911. The pumps from glycobol were there, i did feel a little boost from the t-911 especially in the begining, but i guess it just wasnt enough to overcome todays events/mood/lack of motivation. I should have taken some JP8 if i knew my workout was going to be like that!

Calories today: 3,800

Wow Nice work on those DLs bro! Sucs about havin to leave the workout :(

Review: i think i am going to stop taking glycobol. not because it doesnt work, it works great!!!!!! but it is not doing to my body what i wanted. Right now my goal is to blow up, bloated, puffy, or whatever, i want to get as large as possable. On glycobol I have gotten extremely cut and actually lost a pound. The loss of the pound could be from my injury or getting sick on several occasions. This glycobol run was plagued by injurtys and sickness. However I continued to steadily gain strength while getting very cut up. Before and After pics coming withing the hour.

Final Review: Even though my glycobol run was plagued by sickness and injury I did get some good definition from this product while eating and drinking TONS of carbs. I actually lost about .5 - 1 pound while on this product when my goal ws to bulk and gain weight. The weight loss is probably due to getting sick numerous times and my chest injury. Durring those times I was having a hard time eating 2,000 calories a day for a few days and took no supplements. The reason I am cutting this run short is to save my glycobol for july(when I want to get cut). Right now my goal is to bulk regardless of how bloated, fat, or puffed up I may become.

Strength - Steadily Increasing while on glycobol.

Weight - down .5 - 1 pound.

Pumps - amazing!

Vascularity - didn't knowtice much of a difference

Fat loss/definition - definition of my abs and other detailed muscles definately up. Probably cut some fat as well and could contribute to losing that single pound.

Negatives - I am not sure if it was the glycobol or me getting sick but there were times where my stomach was very agrivated and I had some bad gas. Most likely it was due to becoming ill, but the glycobol didnt seem to help the issue.

overall product rating - 9/10, depending on your goal for using glycobol. I personally don't think this is a significant bulking product for ME. Considering I only ran it for 1/2 a month, it did yield some significant gains in terms of definition!!!!!!!!!!

Good Review! Sux it didnt do what you wanted it to... Save the rest for later ;)

It did that to me also when I beta tested it. I was on a bulk and gained 11 lbs on my cycle, but yet I was leaner than when I started. Good stuff.

Now why would you want to do that? Glycobol sounds like its working perfectly at partitioning those carbs to muscles and away from fat exactly what I would want..you are just gonna have to cut the fat off later if you are bulking just to add puff...thats just my 2cents tho
