Not necessarily true. It is illegal, which some women have a kind of honer in not being involved with anyone doing anything illegal. And secondly, she may be intelligently thinking about possible offspring in the future. Pumping things into your body doesnt exactly increase the changes of a healthy baby. Though I actually do not know if any AAS or PCT could negatively effect it, that is not in my field of knowledge. And often girls tend to look down on a man who uses AAS, because to a few I have talked to it makes them seem like less of a man.
Which in all technicality, why would a man content with himself ever use AAS, and a man who cant be content with himself, cant be content with the world. And with her.
There are all kinds of factors that will go through her mind. I mean what if, God forbid and you are a smart guy lennoxchi so i doubt it, you somehow developed gyno....that would be just as embarrassing to her as it would be to you. And it could lead to a loss of her confidence in you.
If it is a serious relationship she is gona be running all kinds of thoughts and factors. And in all reality I wouldnt want the girl I am with to do plastic surgery, or get a boob job. So in a sense, I could see it being perfectly fine if a girl didnt want a guy to use AAS, which is a heck of a lot more dangerous than the boob job.
I agree with most of this post. Most points are right on track but there are a few that were missed. So you know I am not one of those immature 20 something clingy girls with no life experience, I am a 38 year old woman and am living with a 47 year old man.
As for the first one about the legality of it and most women not wanting anything to do with anything illegal, I agree totally. I have a zero tolerance policy for the use of illegal substances of any kind or even the abuse of legal substances (eg. someone has an injury and receives Lortab and then at a later date uses any left over pills to crush and snort.)
I am currently in a situation where I suspect that my live in boyfriend is using anabolic steroids and as soon as I find out for sure that I am correct, I am out of there. I will not have myself or my son subjected to that lifestyle. I hope I am wrong because everything was great until around six months ago which is when I think he started using but I seriously doubt it since I have witnessed too many of the side effects:
'test flu'
hot flashes/excessive sweating
general irritability and crankiness
constant complaints of joint aches
teeny tiny little scabs on thighs--guessing those are from the injections
extreme aggression--evidenced by ridiculous fight with neighbor
shrunken testicles--which by the way is totally gross and a turn off
erectile issues depending on the current cycle--and let me tell you if I have to continually stop and do extra 'work' to get it and keep it up and running during intimate times, I'll look for someone else who doesn't have self inflicted erectile dysfuntion.
The majority of the users on these boards and others constantly downplay the negative image that the government and media give steroids then in the same post when advising others they will say watch out for this or this and if you take this then you also have to take this to combat some nasty side effect. So basically all the posts on these forums prove that the studies about the damaging effects of steroids are correct. The users who post also say that it doesn't affect those around them but it does. I am so sick of having to listen to my boyfriend complain all the time about being hot, having a stuffy nose, achy joints, etc. and I am tired of the lethargy he experiences when he is off cycle. (I am guessing that is what is going on based on what I have found in my research.) I have absolutely no sympathy for him because I believe it is all self inflicted from being on the juice and I am tired of it interfering in my life.
I am a firm believer that if what you are doing has to be hidden, then you shouldn't be doing it. I also think that if AAS users think they are man enough to use the juice, they ought to be man enough to admit to it and suffer whatever consequences come with it.
Since you mentioned 'boob jobs' and your opposition to them I want to throw out a hypothetical siutation for all these guys to think about. What if the scientific community suddenly announced that they had discovered a way for women to get the larger, fuller breasts that they want without having to have cosmetic surgery? All it involved was for her to take massive overdoses of estrogen and totally alter her hormonal balance. (Which is basically what AAS users are doing but with testosterone.) Of course this would cause some nasty side effects, her hoo-ha would loosen up a bit and her periods would totally change and get in the way of sex a little more often (kind of like the erectile side effects in AAS affect sex) she would basically be in a constant state of PMS (like the irritability of AAS users) and she would also have to pile on a bunch of other meds to combat other issues and it is going to cost thousands upon thousands of dollars over time. On top of all that, she would have to do it illegally and order from whatever place she could find the stuff not knowing what kind of quality it actually was (like the AAS users do) and she would have to continue to do it for however long she wanted to keep the breasts because once she stops, the gains in breast size she made would be gone. Now imagine your girlfriend/wife coming to you with that info and telling you she wanted to do it. How many of you would willingly go along with and be supportive of her doing that? Just the one part about an almost constant state of PMS would be enough for most of these guys to say, "No way!" Yet these are the same guys expecting their women to be supportive of them and lying to their women because they know the women wouldn't put up with the ****.
It all boils down to this...When you decided to start doing it you got to make that choice--nobody forced it on you. You don't have the right to make her choices for her, so you have to be a man, tell her the truth and if she gives you your walking papers you need to accept that as a consequence of your actions.
One other thing...to me, all the pro baseball players who beat the home run record but were later found to have used steroids, well they don't have half the talent or are nowhere near the man Babe Ruth was (even if he was out of shape and wasn't much to look at) because he set the record without any assistance--it was all him.
