Vitamin C for Cortisol

Who uses Vitamin C for this reason and at what kind of dosage? I know Cortisol is highest at night and in the morning and I know most people use 3-4grams daily so maybe 1 gram morning, 1 gram post workout, and 1 gram before bed?

2-4g daily is ideal for cortisol levels. I would go 2g post and 4g nightly. do you dose bcaa's nightly?

Dosing Vitamin C can be based on your caloric intake, but I’d be careful of taking a big dose on an empty stomach due to indigestion. Some other side effects are also diarrhea and if you have iron deficiencies it shouldn’t be taken.

It has a low toxicity, about 12 grams per kilogram to kill you.

I need more vitamin c :(

Ive got 250 1000mg caps if you want em.

I picked up some Invalid Link Removed after doing reg. Ascorbic acid. I'm lucky in that I can take a few g's on an empty stomach with no issue, but I do know some people are sensitive to this as above noted.

That looks great, how is the taste and when will it be back in stock?

For cortisol control, also consider: Ginkgo, Chromium Picolinate, Glutamine, and Valerian Root.

ok, i read somewhere that we should NOT take anti-oxidants immediately post-workout. It's got something to do with the reduced inflammation response of the muscles due to the anti-oxidants. It is the inflammation that signals the repair and growth of the muscles. Sorry, i'm too lazy to dig up the studies on this. :)

I think 1g in the morning would be good enough. You don't really have that terribly high cortisol except morning time?
hope you have a strong stomach, or you should choose a estyl form of Vit C.
