Day 2 of pct
WT:235.2
Legs and abs today. I worked out with a friend who is into more of a circuit type training. I did his workout, and wow,.. my aerobic capacity is pretty poor. Today was a wake up call as far as fat burning goes. Need to step up my game.
No pr's today, lots of supersets with fairly high reps,.. and torched my abs. I have been slacking it seems. No more!!!
 
i had to drop circuit training because my cardiovascular health was so bad. i've gotten into cardio every day for about 10 minutes, in hope to get back into circuit training. i feel your pain brotha.
 
Yeah, this workout today, as I said was a wake up call. I need to make a firm decision on either mass or abs, and stick to it. I mean I want to be huge, but I want to see my abs also! I may have to tinker with my workouts the next couple of weeks. The bottom line is, I'm always jumping back and forth. I need to be committed to one goal!
 
300 calories over maintenance would be lean bulking (you'll have to re-adjust diet in two months), and you'll always have some ab definition. all out bulking is only IMO for the pro's or skinny guys that NEED those extra 1-3k calories. circuit training is actually a really great way to keep body fat down, and i wish i had never stopped. hopefully in a month i'll be able to ease back into it :)

I have thought about giving that a shot. I actually had a full body workout setup before I started doing the cycles to gain mass wher I would do a full routine that typically worked 1 set for one body part followed by a set of the opposite body part did the entire circuit for 3 rounds before finishing up with cardio. It was working pretty well for leaning me out, but I was not adding much strength or mass. I have thought about switching my leg day to a full body workout day since I am so limited with what I can do with legs right now.

Enough about me. Very impressed by how you finished off the cycle and how you started your PCT. Looking really forward to seeing the final pics.
 
Yeah, I'll tell ya, I'm finding out the hard wat that diet is the key. The carb cut-off I've been doing is useless. I mean if I take in 500 grams of carbs, I still took them in, doesn't really matter when I cut off! So I'm working with a trainer at my gym who competes, and he's gonna help me dial in my diet.
Anyways, day 3 of pct was a rest day. Worked around the house and garden for 8 hours, so it wasn't a true rest day.
I wanna add that when I did the workout with my buddy, I deadlifted. Even though we didn't go heavy, it was my second time deadlifting in 3 days! My back is sore! Which leads into day 4 of pct,.. WT: 234.2

That happened to me after my run of Tren/P-Plex. I could get it up and keep it up, but it required a little mouth action sometimes. Maybe I was just using that to get some mouth action. LOL

You know Sunny, that is a valid point. Didn't even occur to me. Not only the loss in my life, but my gf/fiance and I haven't been getting along well at all. I am stressed to the max, and I'm irritable all the time. I had the chance to see the Doc today, and passed on it. It's well worth investigating. Thanks!!!

These stress-factors can lead to unwanted weight gain, anxiety, and loss of interest all together. I really want you to find a source of Zen that can help relieve these stressors so that you do not destroy your body from the inside out. I can relate to your loss, truly. Although, I will not tell you that I know how you feel. No one knows how you feel but you. I can't stand when people tell me things that they feel may encourage or motivate me, like: "Hey man, at least you didn't lose both legs." WTF?
Anyway, go see the Doctor. Talking to him may just be the thing you need to ease some tension. Give it a shot, you never know.
Maybe even write down what you feel, and try to eliminate things that are not flowing with your energy. We are here to help, if needed. We all fight something on a daily basis.
I am truly sorry for your loss, man.

I wanted everyone to know this Wednesday I have a hearing in my state capital to see if I can practice Nursing again. I haven't done so in 4 years,.. to keep it short, I was an alcoholic, addict. I was happiest doing that profession, it was my bliss. I'm only asking for some prayers that everything works out well. This has been a process that I began last Feb. And now, we shall see. Wish me luck!! On a side note,. the people I have surrounded myself with and the peace I find in my spirituality enable me to be strong. What I'm trying to say is, even if it doesn't pay-off,. I'm okay with that. I am exactly where I'm supposed to be!

Bro i wouldnt say the lil things are God, the Service and Love. I think those are some of the biggest and best areas in life to find strength in and IMHO i think its some of the best ways to find your strength! Im happy for you that you know you can put faith in God, the service and love in order to find strength! Anymore ppl dont have a understanding of that and therefor no acceptance for such things which personally think is sad but to each there own!

Brother i am sadden to hear about the Alcohol issue you HAD, but fills me with joy that you are now changed/changing for the better and your wanting to get back into nursing! Im not a nurse nor anything of the sort, but have been around nurses/drs/medical field my whole life dealing with my Crohns and so guys like me look up to guys like you! A good nurse is hard to come by! I write a letter to all the nurses who treatment me and my family well!

That said i will cont. to pray for you, your family, and your nursing career!

Day 13 of pct. Libido is still a bit down, but I have little blue pills!!
Anyways, have been pushing real hard these past few days in the gym. Lots of circuit training, supersets, HIIT. My weight has been around 232, 233 the last few weigh ins. I can definitely say my waist has decreased as I wore a pair of pants I couldn't buckle before, and now they fit fine! My strength is still maintaining if not increasing slightly. It's difficult to keep the strength up with a heavy 5-8 rep set, immediately followed by a 20 rep exercise. A same bodypart superset! However, I am leaning out fairly nicely. Joints have been feeling considerably better! Just have been eating to much junk food. I'm not a big sweets guy, but all that Easter candy I see,...well, you get it. My will is weak!
I'm taking today off as every bodypart except arms is still sore. So, rest is in order.
 
Glad to hear about the jeans fitting. That is such a sweet feeling. I had a bad weekend of eating myself and I have now committed to eating right. I might have to hook up a taser to me and do some shock therapy or something.

Today was the hearing,.. it looks good at this point. The prosecution is not against me getting my license back. So now I wait for the proposal to be sent to the board, and they have 30 days to render a decision. So, I will know in a month in a half at the most. Wow,.. what a relief to have that behind me. I want to thank everyone again for their support and prayers. They are paying off BIG-TIME!!!
So tomorrow I'm gonna finish this cycle strong. It really has been a goofy cycle, but I will do my best to represent.

those numbers still look good for not having motivation, I did my legs workout too and they hurting :) try to keep a positive mid frame and finish strong, you're almost done with this thing
BTW, how did your meeting go yesterday?
 
I have the info on the meeting in post 177,.. but to keep it short, it looks good. I have to wait for a proposal, and then the board has to okay it. I'll know if it's yeah or nay in a month and a half. I'm just glad to have that stress over with. Whatever happens, I'm okay either way.
I'm trying not to get to upset over my log having so much sh!t happening,.. but that's life. I haven't been coping well mentally, have an appt with my shrink tonite. So, we'll see what he has to recommend. Thanks again for all the support folks!!

Alright, I'm up to day 24 of pct. This ride is almost over. The past couple of days have been interesting to say the least. I trained with olympic rings and kettleballs, with mucho cardio in there. There are parts of me that are sore that haven't been sore in 2 decades! I"m not getting into specifics because I haven't a clue what the heck I'm doing with those things. I just do what my buddy does; it must be working as I'm leaning out nicely. I'm learning more everyday.
I must add that this log has been an up and down fiasco, part unfortunate events, part poor planning on my part. I will be posting end of pct pics with an overview of my thoughts on the ONE! Thanks yet again for the support, prayers, and empathy!
 
olympic rings are the devil. find me a gymnast not in good shape. their rounded out delts and arm definition speaks for itself with regards to leaning out :)

EDIT : now you got me jealous. i wish my gym had those things.
 
My friend that I've been training with brings them to the gym, it was a little embarassing at first, but I figured it's something different,.. and you are so correct about gymnasts. It's funny cause people were coming over and wanting to try them,.. maybe started a new thing at our gym!?!?

Wish my gym had Olympic rings. There's so much that can be done with them; better than a bar, IMO. Boxing rings sometimes have them.
