Day 1

This is a very fast post just to go ahead and get this log started. I wanted to make sure I started it today because today would have been my father's 71st birthday. He passed on January 3rd and things have been really hard since. I am starting to make it through piece by piece....but it's for him, and for my unborn son's that I am pushing forward HARD in this log.

Welcome to all my subscribers and supporters. I'm going to need your help more than ever through this journey!

You know I will be here to support you bud. If you need a friend...you know I am around...I understand the loss of your father...its unfortunately a hard event life to deal with.

As for the twin boys coming your way...when a life ends, a new one begins...in your case...two new lives will begin. Congrats to you Papa Deuce.

Cheers!

-Sean-

Sorry to here that there was not tennis for you CT, maybe next time!! And good job on eating clean all day!!

Day 3

Summary
After my 9.5 hour shift doing landscaping today, there wasn't much left in the tank so I took it as an "off" day. I have started to feel a cold come on lately and so far i've been fighting it off...but it's been coming on harder lately. I hope it leaves me alone!!

The Session
Just chillin dawggies

Nutrition
I ate totally clean today and also at most appropriate times. My biggest issue was actually not eating often enough. At the site I kept trying to get to my car for some water and a handful of cashews and then back out to the site...haha

What Tomorrow Holds
Since this update is late and it is already "tomorrow"...I can safely say that I did not go into work today and I am going to clean up this wreck of a house and then either have a solid workout, or hit the baseball fields or tennis court

Landscaping work is no joke, yesterday I had to move dirt around to smooth out this hilly area out here and my fricken hands hurt from all the shoveling and moving the wheelbarrow, repeat for only a few hours...
Good job on the clean eating, after a while it will become natual to do it!

yeah man...I was already feelin like poop and yesterday we did A LARGE property. The owner of our company said it was an ex NFL player...but we weren't allowed to ask his name or anything like that because he was a secretive guy. He was decked out in Florida Gator gear though.

Read UP PA/OH/NJ/NY peoples

Day 4

Summary
I decided to call off from work today for multiple reasons. Firstly, I felt like crap when I woke up and since my girlfriend has been sick for over a week....I was trying to take care of it early so that it doesn't create an issue! Secondly, because my "foreman" at work has successfully been high and fallen asleep each day on the job and i'm totally sick of it. And lastly because I wanted a day to myself :).
Turns out that when I called in to the owner to get my reporting duties for tomorrow, he let me know that the foreman was fired today because of the issues everyone has had with him and that he is happy with the work i've done for them so far. That was great news and now i'm actually looking forward to work tomorrow!
Had an awesome workout today also...had no one with me to "spot", so I decided to run some KB's to the MAX!

The Session
16kg Kettlebell Swing
15reps x 3 sets
16kg Kettlebell Snatch

10 reps x 3 sets - right arm

Double 16kg Kettlebell Front Squat

Double 16kg Kettlebell SOHP
10 reps x 2 sets
Double 16kg Kettlebell Floor Press
10 reps x 2 sets

Nutrition
I ate totally clean today again, but a little heavy at dinner. The meal was still clean...but I had whole wheat pasta with some lean meatballs...and I had like 1.5 plates. Granted we use much smaller dinner plates than the average family....but I was still hoping to just cut it off at 1 plate. I will have to work on that. I also had an "Emergen-C" cocktail of the Vitamin-C mixed with the Bone Health formulation to battle my illness and my knee issues lately. It tasted good....and I think it's working fairly well! I've also been taking a lot more fish oils lately as well.

What Tomorrow Holds
I am back to work tomorrow...so we'll see how I feel when I get out and what time it is. We have USTA Tennis Team practice, but if i'm not out in time...or if i'm totally wrecked...then i'm going to skip it for some stretching and body work. Tomorrow shall tell :)

He's so PICky
I figured i'd add in a spot where i'll post a daily pic. I usually post pics of myself or of the workout/nutrition....but I didn't take any today so uhh....here is a crest of my family with one of the 2 original spellings before we got to Ellis Island

Thanks brother :)....I was happy about this update a lot myself!

Dude...after the first 2 days of landscaping, It was a more intense feeling of sore than any weight session i've ever had!! The only thing that might have made me more sore in my life was baseball tryouts for 2 weeks in High School. After the 1st week I was already hurtin and then once you make "first cuts"....they turn up the 2nd week of tryouts for more intensity, haha. In high school I was in awful shape...so it was a pretty bad scene :)

We've got a book and knight on our crest. Green and yellow.

Depending on what spelling you use...mine changes.

The Original spelling is "O'Tuathaigh" and it translates to "the ruler" or "the king". The crest for that (as well as MY Ellis Island variation) are different from the one I posted

Hey bro, here fashionably late lol. Been mad busy lately, but trying to find time to support my board homies. 9 1/5 hrs of landscaping...ouch lol.

haha yeah man it was tough. I've had an 11 hour day already so far too. Im heading in now...but today will probably round out to be about 8 hours or so. Thanks for coming in!!

I dig it :)

ps - everyone who is following along, haha. Today it is a sloppy mess out this way....rain and muck all over. After 4.5 hours of work we decided to call it a day and head back out tomorrow. However, we were doing a HUGE pond cleanout and got most of it done already ;)

Seems like you are enjoying this job a lot more than your old job. Glad to see the enthusiasm in your work.
what is the mirror telling you these days?

I enjoy the job a little more for 2 reasons.

1. I like physical work
2. I feel like i'm EARNING my paycheck

I dislike the job for 2 reasons.

1. No benefits
2. MUCH less pay

How did you find out about your family crest? Is this a caucasian thing (no offense intended just curious)?

Today was a bad day for PA (Lehigh Valley area where I live anyway) Yesterday was soo nice out though ! Hopefully tomorrow is nice and sunny :)

Man, it's been nasty in NW Florida the last few days...Well, I say nasty, but I love rainy weather. :D - I'd move to Seattle if they didn't just ban Cascade dishwasher detergent.

Dude...I didnt know you were in LV! I am in East Stroudsburg...weird! My best friend lives in Atown by the Cedar Crest wing of LV hospital.

yah like IC was saying, most European type backgrounds often have crests. What are you Mergy? haha...what I mean is nationality wise.

Yeah man...when that lunch bell comes ringin, I have been pretty hungry, haha. Im amped though because reducing a great deal of bodyfat is number 1 on the agenda right now....so I can't complain one bit!

What are the odds of a Jennifer Aniston picture for todays update? :)

Day 5

Summary
Today was a rainy and cold day in these parts and I was doing a pond cleanout at a house with a large pond. Luckily we weren't given any time constraints with this house and we are going to finish it tomorrow. After 4 1/2 hours of work my partner and I were both frozen, soaking wet, and ready to go home. We did a majority of the work (which was TOUGH)....but we are finishing up and moving onto the grounds of the home tomorrow. I am still feeling slightly sick, and my girlfriends daughter's temperature is up around 103....so I didn't do much other than body work today after getting off of work and getting showered up.

The Session
Pushup
25 reps
Incline Pushup
25 reps
Decline Pushup
25 reps
Situp
25 reps
Unilateral Leg Work
Rx 1 - 45 seconds *ea. leg*
Rx 2 - 45 seconds *ea. leg*
Rx 3 - 45 seconds *ea. leg*

Nutrition
So I went ahead and had my cheat meal for the week tonight. I have been doing really well and I was really in the mood for it. I had myself some chinese food! It was delicious...I don't feel bad one bit...and I won't cheat again this week :).
Otherwise, I ate clean.

What Tomorrow Holds
Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be gorgeous and we have a lot of work to get done over there, so I doubt i'll do much other than the landscaping stuff. We will see how I feel :)

He's so PICky
Because of Big Ol Bobby runnin his mouth, and because IC was tryin to wreck her image....I had to go ahead and get this done tonight. I don't like to make "women pics" the centerpieces of my logs....but this one had to be.

Steve! Whats up brother....just put your tent up next to IC and JDG's ;). maybe you can make some sense out of all this South Park jibba jabba!

I'll do my best

p.s. that chef pissed me off so much, I would last about 30 seconds before taking an assault charge for putting him in the hospital. :D-

Watchin hells kitchen now, crazy lady going up to him like that

hahah that lady got SNUFFED though. He gave it to her real good!

Haha thats how it is in culinary though. I was never that kind of lead...but a lot of the head chef's and executives that I have worked with/for are like him. They just weren't as funny ;)

You people watched Hells Kitchen instead of the last ER..gasp!

Funk ER! We switched between hell's kitchen and grey's anatomy (My gf likes Greys). Neither of us like ER :18:
