SUNCLOUD'S workout log with assorted goodies

wow, what a day. had a great workout despite the late time i hit the gym - 3:15. of the twins, the left one had a moment of pain earlier today - atrophy i'm guessing. it went away quick, and was only the second time this cycle i've had that occur. no other sides, aggression is still in check. workout to follow, PR's in bold :)




friday
back/bi/rear delts

lat pulldowns (ultra wide) behind the back - 160x10/5/2 - up 3 reps. 170 i can't get the bar to touch my neck - maybe 1" off.
lat "shrugs" 200x 3 sets of failure - up 5 lbs
pullups (ultra wide) BW x 9/5/3 - up 2 reps again.
t bar rows 150 x 9/5/2 - up 2 reps and 5 lbs.
straight arm lat pushdowns 110x 11/6/3 - up 3 reps. 120, i couldn't get 6 reps out of :(
DB rear delt raises 35 x 9/5/3 - up 3 reps. had to take a few breaths to finish my first set.
shrugs behind the back - 220 x 10/6/4 - up 20 lbs :) same reps. the top of my traps actually got striated at the top of the ROM, which was super cool.
preacher curls 95x 7/4/3 - same reps, up 5 more lbs.
more straight arm lat pushdowns 100x12, 90x14. gotta get them up to speed :)
cardio - later in the day i will.

i suppose the workout could have been better, but the primary focus was to get my lats going. weights don't mean anything without good form. i'm a little disappointed i didn't hit more PR's, but that's my ego talking. instead of ego, i'd rather have lats :) thanks for tuning in guys. i've got to push extra hard to catch up to some of you :D
 
nice numbers buddy!! how was your mind muscle connection with your lats? Your definitely right on taking the ego out of it and getting results. I hate fighting my ego as well.

mind muscle connection is kind of there. its not perfect yet, but its coming along, and better than it was before this cycle. between lat pulldowns, lat shrugs, pullups, tbars and straight arm lat pushdowns, there's a ton of abuse my lats are taking, so the burn becomes more noticeable than anything else. still, i rarely get that lactic acid buildup in my lats, so something is working. either the ridiculous amount of focus i'm putting on them, or the mind/muscle, but something is happening :)

Seeing all your great gains has kind of made me interested in running a cycle again but it's been so long. M1T was the last thing i used.

i've heard so many stories about M1T. some say it was the best, others say the sides made it not worth it. i'd be scared to see the numbers you would put up while on cycle.

epistane seems very promising, with mild to no sides, and an easy PCT. you can't beat that kind of run.

ouch. don't do anything you'll regret man - it seems the courts are eager to arrest anyone who can post bail. apparently the reason my gf's old doctor wasn't arrested for early refills on a class 1 is because my gf didn't testify - so apparently there's no victim - even though there's still proof that the doctor violated federal law. i asked the police officer what would happen if i beat someone into a coma - if he can't testify, there's no victim right? apparently that offended the police, and i can't figure out why - its a similar scenario :) humans....

nice. multiple increases in weights are a great feeling :) and i totally agree with you on no hitting girls. i would have her call him out in a crowded bar - let 5-6 random guys that he can't identify beat the snot out of him. that's rewarding in and of itself :)

Ya i was STOKED! It was great! Just need more food in me! Stoppin ZMA tonite and see what happens rest of the week!

O i like that! Good Idea! lol Im kinda suprised he hasnt gotten his beat yet from the storys i keep hearing..... Im sorry if theres one thing i cant stand is a guy beating on a woman! I am a pretty calm person and very lax but when it comes to that, man i just get fired up! *Breath in breath out breath in breath out* LOL.........

As for your workouts, every day you seem to be hittin some pr's. great job. I havent been followin along the whole time so i was wonderin what your goals are? Strength, obviously! What about mass? How you eatin?

thanks man. PR's are very motivating. sometimes just by hitting a PR, you have the motivation to break another one, which is what i'm experiencing.


goals for the cycle, was mass and strength.... i've gone from 185 to just a smidgeon over 200 which is when i have to really slow my caloric intake down. i'd prefer not to have a knee surgery from these substandard joints :) my goals initially were to increase my deadlifts, try to bulk to 200 lbs, and recomp some of these chunks i've got. so far i've hit two of those goals. now i've got to cut down the calories and try to see my abs :) the first two are vaguely visible, but there's still work to be done. now i've got to make 200 pounds look like snagnency or vikinginc . that may take awhile though - them guys are ripped to shreds - especially the viking.

i'm hoping my PCT will be enough to get my abs showing, so we'll see what happens.

ouch. that really sucks. i won't deadlift without a belt, just from all the injuries i've seen - nothing is worth being sidelined. be safe man - you've only got one body.

I believe theres a total of 3sets of em since this log started, and 2 from this stack....
 
I see I see. Traps looking more full, and i would say leanin out a bit at waist.

i've been trying to get weekly pics up, but for the last couple weeks i've been dealing with shall we say unusual circumstances, and am finding it hard to get my girlfriend to take pictures. i will have next weeks ones up for sure though, as its the last week of the cycle :)

right now my top abs are TRYING to show themselves, but i don't know how much will show up on camera. the difference i can see from the pics are my traps and back width. wish my chest would have grown a bit more, but hopefully this tuesdays pics will not disappoint.

Monday :) sorry for the late update - g/f spazzed out about everything - i think she was overwhelmed about everything that was going on, so i've been doing damage control since the gym till bedtime.

i've been debating on what to do with my last weeks numbers. i've decided that i will first post what i did on the first week of the log, and then post my actual workout, to better show the increases from the liquidrone/hdrol. even though my first weeks numbers had some solid increases, i also tweaked the workout for this run (no back off sets), so this is IMO the fairest way of doing this. keep in mind though that i still went up in weights on week 1, so the increases are more than they appear. anyways, great workout, great focus, and i'm feeling pretty decent.

week 1 :)
bench 205 x 8/5/3 - down one rep, up 10 lbs! back off 135x12
tricep dips BW + 90 7/4/3 - up three reps, back off, BWx13
upright rows (smith) 145x 6/4/3 no change - focused on a super wide grip (30inch) to better isolate the delts rather than my normal grip 12 inches apart
incline bench 155x 9/5/3 down one rep, up 10 lbs
CG bench 175x6/3/2 down 5 reps, up 10 lbs
military press 155x6/4/2 down 2 reps, up 5 lbs
reverse grip tricep pushdown 120x6/4/1 down 3 reps, up 10 lbs
cable crossovers - 70x8


Monday - week 6

bench 260 x 8/4/2 - up 5 lbs, same reps. not the increase i wanted :(
tricep dips BW + 110 x 7/4/2 - down a rep, up 5 lbs - decent given the exercise.
upright rows (smith) 185x 6/3/2 - down 6 reps, up 20 lbs :) no we're talking :)
incline bench 225x 6/3/2 - up 10 lbs, down 2 reps.
CG bench 210 x 8/4/2 - same reps, up 5 lbs
military press 185x 8/4/2 - up 2 reps.
reverse grip tricep dip machine - 190 x 8/5/2 - up 20 lbs from last week
cable crossovers 85 x 10/6/3 - up 2 reps again. 90's aren't happening.


so last week, i'm still getting decent increases, some more than others. i'm debating on what to say here. what i am assuming, is all the new exercises have the most increases, as i have the most potential for increases with anything new. this would therefore mean that DC training, or switching the routine every couple weeks would give you beyond unreal results with this compound. more to come later today.

again, sorry for the late update, will post pics tonight.

Unbelievable increases across the board Sunny!! You really have made great strides with this cycle. Keep pushing and carry it over into your PCT. You have a good routine going and it will continue even when off cycle...

i think its maybe 10% stronger, and kicks in around 15 minutes faster. both the liquidrone and dienedrone are great for insane strength gains though, so there's no complaining on my end :)

face pulls 140x7/4/2 - up 20 lbs, same reps! double pulleyed, so 70 lbs real world.
barbell rows - 145 x 7/4/2 - never done this much before! ever!
machine curls 100x 9/7/5 - like candy! up 10 lbs, and more reps!
standing shrugs - 230x 6/4/2
reverse pec dec machine - 90x 6/4/1

deads 345 x 4 - lost 3 reps. rep 5 i couldn't lock out, so didn't count. up 30 frikken lbs!

barbell rows - 205 x 8/5/2 - lost a rep, up 20 lbs.
machine curls -150x 8/4/2 - down 4 reps, up 10 lbs.
standing shrugs - 290x 10/5/2 - up 3 reps.
reverse pec dec machine - 120x 8/4/3 - down 2 reps, up 10 lbs. these hurt my shoulder a lot, but i think it will recover.
cardio - ran around the field at the park for awhile.

jebus. up 100lbs on deadlifts in 6 weeks! i think that sums up how i feel today, since words just can't measure how good i feel. pics will be up tonight :)
