I'm on recreate, AP, and Prime...Diet is clean!
but almost every day I'm getting cravings for the weirdest stuff...Pizza, double quarter pounders, cinnamon rolls....
I cheat once a week, but usually take 2 AP before I indulge.
Anyone else going through this?

PRIME has been known to increase appetite but Recreate should blunt that effect. Anabolic-Pump would have no effect.

Please see the following information regarding WillPower: Pure Caralluma fimbriata which is contained in USPlabs Recreate.

Caralluma fimbriata:

A very specific extract of this plant was shown to reduce waist size by almost one and a quarter inches in only 8 weeks, while decreasing appetite by 20% as compared to placebo [7]. In addition, those taking the active ingredient reduced consumption of sweets, refined sugars, cholesterol and saturated fats by the conclusion of the study as compared to placebo. At the same time, consumption of fruits, vegetables and fish didn’t change. In other words, it nearly “made” them follow a healthy diet and make better food choices, while also causing them to eat less. The group taking the caralluma lost 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) of fat mass as well, over the course of the study. It has been used for centuries by tribal populations that wished to suppress their appetite. It also has a well established safety record and had shown no serious adverse effects. As far as how it works, it is thought that steroidal glycosides present in the plant may increase ATP in the hypothalamus, potentially “tricking” it into thinking that energy or food intake is sufficient so there is no need to increase appetite [7,8].

Beside supplement usage. What are your goals? Doing a show, or cutting? And how far out are you?

It can be as simple as your not getting enough calories or too little fat.

cals are at 2100. Recomp basically.
using AP for morning and Whole meal after a workout. Those are my biggest carb meals.
I probably should increase the fats throughout the day. I usually only rely on them at night.

Gotcha, for fats and if you are 170, I would try for around 40 to 50grams per day. See what happens.

WHen you do have larger amounts of fats during the day, try not to have it with your carbs.

Has this effect cleared up Carpee?

You know what, with 3 roommates that eat crap, I'm doing pretty well. I'm talking like they eat cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and bring back mcdonald's, little ceasars, taco bell...but I'm holdin' out. The thing that I think makes me "crave" it is the smells. But I'm doin good. Finally found the ezekiel bread at kroger, and got some 96% lean beef, so that was a little change from the oats and chicken/eggs.

Keep in mind you can also boil beef, and this cooking method will remove 99% of the fat present within the meat. When it begins to turn grey, take the meat out and complete the cooking process w/ a frying pan where you can add seasoning. This will result in substantial savings v., 96% fat-free, with an even better protein:fat ratio.

Our cravings are actually originated in the olfactory pathway: the regions of the brain which interpret smell are neurally-related to the centers of the brain associated with emotion, cognition, memory and learning. Connections between the neurons associated with the olfactory [smell production] pathway ossify connections w/ the neurons associated with cognition, memory, and learning, and so cravings become a complex set of synapses that produce emotional, psychological, and physiological reactions to food-smells. The benefit of this intricate process is that you can will yourself to overcome cravings, but, often, in a way that may surprise you.

As I said, cravings are learned behaviour sets, and not merely physiological responses; as such, it's impossible to deny they exist! Rather than ignore cravings, you should embrace them: take a moment to imagine the food you are craving is in your mouth - taste it, remind yourself of the texture, etc., If you concentrate hard enough, salivation will occur and you will send signals to your brain you have already been physically and emotionally satiated by the food. Boom -> the craving subsides.

More or less! This technique is emergent as a successful food-addictions management technique. The only reason 'food addiction' is possible is the exact interconnectedness I explained above!

We crave so-called "unhealthy foods" because they are associated with a wide-range of phenomena which personally impact us, not necessarily relegated to physiological ones. As much as we are physically satiated from the nourishment they carry, we are emotionally satiated from the production of neurotransmitters associated with accomplishment and reward [serotonin and dopamine]. Understanding how all these factors combine in play can give you food-will of steel!

Haha this sounds just like me and one of my roomates. Were both pretty good about diets but our other 2 roomates always eat McDonalds, tacobell, this bomb mexican place called LaPuente (give you the bubble gut for the night too). I break down for my cravings more than he does, but i'm starting to control them a little better. I'm going to try the imagine i'm eating the food technique and see if it helps. Good advice thanks Mullet!

For sure. Literally concentrate on how they taste, how they feel, the warmth, everything.

It's like porn for your mouth, lol.

Sorry, I just finished about 45 minutes of cardio, so I might be a little out there right now :31:

Seriously though, when I get cravings or still feel hungry, I like to throw back some extra fiber and drink 12 oz-16 oz of water. Even if I do end up cheating a little after that, I feel full and satiated much more quickly and the less damage is incurred. A lot times I find that after going through the process of taking the fiber drink (or a butt load of caps) that my cravings have passed.

If I know I'm going to cheat, I just toss back some AP!

My mouth is watering right now, lol. I just took some AP, but I haven't figured out what I will be eating yet.

<I finished my cardio about 30-40 minutes ago, had a shower, and I still can't stop sweating!>
