How's your strength holding up on this cut? What are the bf and weight changes?
Weight upon waking this morning was 185.6 -- almost the same as where I started this log at. I would guess my BF% to be in the 5's, not quite as low as I'd like. I should have stayed with Recreate all the way thru..
Strength has been good thruout, even now. Prime I feel is directly responsibly for this. There is no question I've always lifted outta my skull on this stuff. While I have not set PR's on this journey, that was not my focus, and I wasn't coming from a very fit position starting this log (attacked by a virus for 3 days) -- but my strength very early in the process increased quickly and shockingly. Kinda leveled off since then, but no complaints at all.

I battle dyslexia myself, so I pick up on it quite easily in others.
Combine that with my OCD.. oh it just sux. :rasp:

It sucks, but I have to take it to sleep sometimes. That's what happens when you have memories that keep you awake. Ohhh damn.

Much appreciation, my friend. But the dreams don't go away. My father had them all the way up until his death. He was a 'Nam Vet (4 Tours). He was the poster boy for the Green Berets! But, he did learn to live with them.

Haha, yeah I've been called crazy a time or two.. :fool2:
Let me reiterate however: when you start out w/ Prime, don't just jump into that dosing. I recommend starting at 6/daily (2x2x2 w/ meals), with the option of throwing 2-3 in your PreWO mix (obviously w/o days only) on empty stomach. After 4 weeks or so, you can increase to 3x3 dosing if you feel the need. Only after an extended run (6-8 weeks) would I advise going to 4x3 dosing..
And this has nothing to do with any negative side effects, just logically using the product & getting the best value out of it..
Now, all that being said -- there are a few guys who have tried 3x3 dosing for the first week, then dropped back to 2x3 dosing for 4-5 weeks before upping to 3x3 again, sort of like a loading process. Never tried this myself, but the couple guys who have say it works pretty well.
Lotta different ways to go.. I love me my Prime!
 
Day #62 Upper Body (last day with weights)

Whoaaaa.. talk about hella pump! Good golly..
Went out with a bang:

Military Press (behind-neck) alt w/
Incline DB Rear Laterals (30sec rest between each set, 5x20)
Front DB Raises alt w/
Standing Laterals (30sec rest between each set, 3x20)
Explosion Push-Ups alt w/
DB Pullovers (30sec rest between each set, 5x20)
DB Flyes alt w/
Cable Pulley Rows (30sec rest between each set, 3x20)
Cable Pulley Standing Curls alt w/
Cable Tricep Pushdown (30sec rest between each set, 4x20)

Tempo was 2-0-1 thruout. So each set took about 30sec, then rest 30sec, all the way thru. Was digging the fast pace.. I'm spent.

All that's left for tomorrow is some FT sprint intervals upon rising, and it's all diet manipulation from here..

One last sneak peek before I put the finishing touches on this heah gig.. :cool:

I'm a smidge flat right now, and I've got veins going on everywhere (cool ones are in my knees, ahaa) but they are deflated-like, can't see them in the pic. I'll rectify that injustice shortly! ;)

I've used PRIME before, and when I start again I'm definitely going to do 2X2X2 at first. You have to cycle PRIME correct, at least to get the best results? 3 months on 1 month off or something like that...

Yes, like anything else it needs to be cycled. I feel if you go to 12 weeks, the dosage must have the gradual increase incorporated in -- from that 8-12 week mark is where I feel the 4x3 (and optional +3 PreWO) is gonna be most beneficial.

As for my supplements that I am logging, i was just curious what effect they would have on me. I've seen some younger people such as myself try test boosters and have good effects, so I'm just testing the waters.

And Sam - you've mentioned my tan a couple times thruout, thx for the feedback. Been going roughly 3-4x/week, just got back right now in fact. One more session Friday; I haven't decided if I'll throw on some addtl color for the final shots, I got some oil too I might have the wife apply, do it up right.. want to be able to see the striations properly.

Steve; looking huge! Some extra motivation for me ; I'm the littler half :) Once this finger heals up better I'll try and catch up ... eventually!! I'm doing rows & deadlifts with wrist-straps, lower weight, 10x10, works the muscle plenty hard enough.

And appreciate the words bro! For tan, I'll be using some ProTan stuff that's been under my sink collecting dust since like 2006, figure I might as well get rid of it. Same with the oil sheen stuff. Bought it for a comp I never did. My last show I got professionally spray-tanned, that was pretty cool.

Massive?? :think: NOT! But thx tho, I guess it's all relative. I was surprised that they held up fairly well thru that nastiness, since my legs are the first to go and I hadn't been able to really hammer them since summer due to the calf tear. That virus freaking demolished my upper half tho! :dead:

Day #63 Sprint Intervals/Cardio

Final day of training, ran FT as planned upon rising, 8 min varied warm-up, 16min worth of sprint-intervals: alternating (8) 30sec sprints, followed by 90sec walk, 8min varied cooldown.
Followed same BCAA protocol I've been using, 42g total pre/intra/post now inc. the Beverly Density, AP upon rising. Breakfast was 5oz turkey breast, 1 small grapefruit..
The carb-up begins in earnest! 8 meals today (every 2hrs), 250g total carbs. Tomorrow I up that to 320g. Fun times..
I'm feeling great, really excited to see how my final approach turns out. So far I'll give a thumbs up to the Methyl Dry portion of the NxLabs -- it's seemed to kick my peeing up a notch, and produced 2 extra bowel movements yesterday. Glad to see some part of that trio working! The Lean Out & MuscLean are really kicking into gear as well -- these products have never disappointed me.
I'm amped!!! Ready to bring this baby home! :bb:

Sounds good. A break from supps is a nice feeling mentally; not having to worry about what pill to take when. Enjoy your break :thumbsup:

Yeah, it's addictive man.. at the same time tho, it is a nice feeling to chill for awhile and not be consumed by it for sure.

Just a quick note before I get outta GNC here -- I am feeling HUUUUUUGE and hard right about now! :D This carb-up is gonna be DA SHIZNIT!
 
Good luck on your supp break! I actually just did one of those for like 6 weeks a lil while ago
 
Don't I know it...My breakfast consists of about 15 pills and multiple random powders.
Is that all? My multi-vitamin alone has 11 pills (Animal Pak, 1 of 2 paks I take daily, the other is 8hrs later); then add in 4 Prime, 6 Ultra-40's, 1 Lean Out, 1 L-Carnitine, and 2 fish oil.. I counted up my daily pill intake one time awhile back and it came out to like 186 or something -- and that was before adding in Lean Out, MuscLean, Density and the like, and before I upped my SuperCissus/Prime/PowerFULL regime.
I'm a freakin' junkie. :D
We all have our vices..
