2 DAYS ON RECREATE/PWFULL/AP-feeling like an alpha FE-MALE !!!

I definately avoid empty calories if I can. My intra is a combo of advice from Cannon and Snag: 16g Glycergro 30g BCAAs 5g Mono 5g Swell - works a treat for me. For quick carbs see the sig

I already read your juicer log dude... Awesome stuff.

I don't have space for a juicer, but I've already ordered some bulk slin to try.

Thanks for the info, dragonfly. :) I've responded VERY well to creatine/dextrose combinations PWO in the past, but I think I'm probably still a little too nervous to try them intra at this time. :p

It is all about figuring out what works best for you :)

OK, for real...

Last night's dinner:
Grilled chicken breasts, broccoli, asparagus, green beans, onions, mushrooms, marinated artichokes, black olives (can't see those, I ate them :p) splashed with some apple cider vinegar and lots of good herbs (a blend in a grinder): coarse sea salt, black pepper, coriander, onion, garlic, yellow & brown mustard seeds, parsley, paprika, leek & thyme.

Apologies for the blurry photo, my hands were shaking 'cause I was too excited to eat all that ! :o)

I was just asked by a "size 0" woman in my Department, as I was walking out of the staff tea-room with a plate containing something similar: "Oh, a late lunch is it :poke:?" (it was 3:15PM here)

I said: A 2nd lunch :D

That needs to be one of those quotes embedded over on an old Roman column.

and thanks for the compliment DF Invalid Link Removed

I start T-911 tomorrow, so my cut will turn more toward a Recomp direction, but my diet won't change too drastically. I plan on having a bit more carbs (complex of course), but I have plent O' AP, Recreate & Pslin for that nutrient partition, including 2 more bottles of DCP to assist in fat oxidation department.

Those first two pictures are friggin' awesome. Did you have a pump or were those taken cold? Regardless, you look incredible.

I guess it's time for me to go to the gym and try to catch up. Sheesh.

Thank God I wasn't on Prime or I would have looked cocky X 1000000000:puke: ...though come to think of it, I came pretty close to that ! :icon_lol:

There has to be some entertainment value in all this...

Most people are too close to what they're doing that they can't see themselves anymore, but I always step back and laugh at myself because it is all funny, being the best built man in the world ! Very funny !
(Arnold Schwarzenegger)

That is the way I see it, though I DO NOT view myself as a best built woman in the world...only in my gym...and that isn't all that hard

Took them about 3 hrs after workout, the pump had died by then.

I'm the one that is trying to catch-up IC, I don't think it is sooo great being surrounded by all the male massiveness that is on the forum, my perceptions are becoming skewed...at least I do not desire an armour-like chest...yet ! :lmao:

Damn woman.. I need to try those. I'm wondering if I can even do 44 pounds. I wish I could see what you are actually doing.

I use ONE 45 pound plate and do decline situps with that straight above my face... The abdominal strength isn't the impressive part - if you're doing what I think you're doing, its the front delt stabalizers that I can imagine are getting tested and toasted.

You really remind me of my good friend I used to work out a lot with... She was completely nuts, but she motovated the crap out of me. Unfortunately has developed early epilepsy - so she has to deal with all those symptoms and get her meds right before she gets back in the gym.

Exactly.

I really doubt I could do that weight if it's the same exercise I'm thinking of.

The move is exactly like punching someone in the face....with a dumbell :D

It is great she still keeps training :box:

I guess we all need something to keep us sane :)

....found these, me 4 ys ago, when I knew nothing of DB Jabs ... and I was delt-less :lmao:

Great transformation, dragonfly! You look like you could kick my ass in those first photos. :poke:

Last summer I was doing decline sit-ups with a 120# dumbbell across my upper chest. Right now I'm struggling to do them with no weight. :swordfight:

Starting over's always so much fun!! :saw:

I don't think I could do those jabs though. They sound pretty hardcore... :boggled:

Very sexy librarian with the books background, Irish had it right. More specifically, great back, I notice women's upper backs when they wear spaghetti straps, I like a little definition up there, very sensual in a sexy AND admirable way in my opinion. I find that I am much more attracted to girl's who look like they've "earned" their bodies, rather then born skinny and can't get fat no matter what. To be blunt, both cases look good, but the prior carries a sense of admiration and respect. Hell, even "sort of" good looking girls who look like they're working their tales off at the gym are appealing to me. Nothing like a girl who sweats.

And I don't know DFly if she's still training. She sent me this really sad email - asked me to visit her at the hospital (told me to call first)... Tried calling like 4 or 5 times... No avail. Don't know how she's doing at all. That was a couple weeks ago. I'll try her again today. :fingersx:

Epilepsy dude. Its very controllable given the right medications - but its extremely patient specific... She was having seizures in her sleep again, so the hospital visit was for further tests. Basically getting your head hooked up to a machine for 5 days / nights.

I had a random onset of epileptic seizures when I turned 21. Grand Mal they called it, but I was put on Tegretol which fixed me right up. What sucked was I had my driver's license stripped for 12 months. I had to be cleared by a neurologist and considered "incident free" for 12 months before I was allowed to drive again. Just to add insult to injury, I had to retake my driver's test. However, during that 12 month driving freeze I ran home from work 8.8 miles 4 times a week for cardio. I tried to make the best of things and I had to leave California State University Fullerton to attend a much closer Junior College.

Hope your friend is okay.

I had my share of greasy Head Scans and MRI's.

Freakin Rambo-esque back shot up there in post #1413, sheeeesh.. Awesome!
And that pic of the meal -- ooooooooh, right up my alley D! :D
(well, minus the olives, but other than that BOOOO-YAAAA!)

Working progress Shaddow, anyone can do it if they really REALLY want to ;)

Almost, but no, however, I did pick out a name, "Call T-911, Volcom Got Cut" pretty snazzy eh? But no.... my logdrenal glands still have no recovered.

Reset-AD does not resolve Logdrenal Fatigue.

Whenever I think my life sucks I HAVE to remind myself of people WITH REAL PROBLEMS, such as your friend TL. Puts things in perspective.
Less  , more action :)

Thanks Snag but, I'm somewhat , what is wrong with a few olives ? Have to warn you I'll probably disagree with anything you say because I am most heavily biased towards my Mediterranean origins ! :p :)

I was awaken at 3:30AM (after struggling for over an hour to fall asleep ), by a sound that made me think: $HIT, someone is trying to DB Jab their way through my window !!!

Well sure, that explains it! :D
Nah, nothing wrong w/ olives nutrition-wise -- I just can't stand them. Green or black, don't matter..

Ah, OK then Snag, they are not everyone's pot of tea :)

It's the salt factor IMO. I'm the same way with pistachios.

Now we're talkin' ! Salted macadamias are even worse ! Invalid Link Removed

DAY 177

CHEST, BIS & TRIS

* Today's workout was :ntome:

* It was really irritating because I slept great last night, the intruder ...
Oh. Sorry. That was me.
... had been taken care of Invalid Link Removed

:p

* I had the drive and motivation to hammer it but no energy. I felt like a Invalid Link Removed without petrol

* At least I tried.... only 1/4 dose of dextrose/creatine (AGAIN) and it sucked BIG time (AGAIN) :squintfinger:

* If it weren't for my gym partner (had one today, thank God) I would have not made it through :puppy_dog_eyes:

1. Bench Press sups....11 sets, reps 10-20
2. BB Curls........11 sets, reps 6-12

* Curls were up, weight&reps  ... though I had to rest pause A LOT :(
...and after I was done with all ^^,
I was ready for a sugar fix Invalid Link Removed ...
...kept going instead Invalid Link Removed

3. BW Dips sups .........5 sets, reps 8
4. Hammer Curls.........5 sets, reps 8-10

5. BW Chins sups.......5 sets, reps 8
6. Plate Extensions......5 sets, reps 16

* Chin ups were heavily spotted, I told my gym body to do ANYTHING to squeeze 5 sets out of me, I said: do not let me out of here until I'm done, not even under a threat of death ! :fool2:

* BOTTOM LINE: I'm diggin' it:

CARBOHYDRATES ARE ALWAYS THE LIMITING FACTOR IN EXERCISE AND ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE BECAUSE CARBOHYDRATES ARE THE MOST EFFICIENT FUEL SOURCE. WHENEVER CARBOHYDRATES ARE RESTRICTED, ENERGY LEVELS AND PERFORMANCE USUALLY DECLINE.

...so, I'm going back to 1/2 dose, drive is useless without energy for execution :D

Been running on a short fuse ever since the workout Invalid Link Removed…so I hope there are no intruders tonight…’cause they WILL DIE

Sam, if I tell you who I really think came knocking at my window you'll think I'm :fool2:, HA !

Maybe I am...CRAZY...

SIDE NOTE: You guys know I enjoyed Fasted Training and I am not at all "changing tunes" in that regards. I think FT is great for strength-purposed routines low volume/heavy weight. However, for the type of training that I've been doing for the last 4 weeks or so, where I'm focusing at high volume, and developing muscle endurance (20+ sets per body part, superset-routines, short rest times btw sets etc), it just doesn't cut it. I'm still running a very low carb diet because I'm attempting to get as lean as possible and so my glycogen stores get depleted rather quickly. For that reason, I need the intraWO carbs. I do not believe they are getting stored as fat. Like I said, the idea is to burn the fat at ALL times except for when weight training, because CARBS are simply suited better for that purpose. They make the DRAGON machine run to its full potential :biglaugh:

I've never bean as lean and strong and I've NEVER EVER been AS HAPPY with my PHYSIQUE as I am now

I've learned something during this 177 days, the rules as to how to achieve your optimum physical performance and looks are simple. They are just hard to follow.

AS FOR FAT LOSS, KEYS ARE :

1. Increase meal frequency & decrease meal size, AN ABSOULTE MUST !!! Invalid Link Removed
2. Correct timing of macronutrient ratios&intake
3. Eat CLEAN & Detox
4. Eat your Invalid Link Removed greenz :D

Just my 2c :)
