why am i getting spammed with some porn pic embedded in each thread in the wap?

When I enter a forum in the wap version, each thread title is accompanied by the same pic of some tatted dude and blonde ho? I mean if its just am.com providing extra value for its members, right on, but having that pop up on my google phone at work could be embarrassing. Lol

I don't see anything like that, and neither does anyone I know that has a mobile phone w/ browser that I asked to take a look at it. If you have a digital camera, take a photo of it with your camera and post it up and I'll look into it.

I've seen what you are talking about on my PC when at M&M in the past. A members avatar seemed to get "stuck" and a particular board icon image (ex: reply to post icon) was replaced with the avatar image.

But that was something that "I" did view/browse and was likely a cookie/temp file type of thing because once I logged out and cleared cookies/temp folders/cache it went away.

Just a thought but...where have you been browsing when not at work? :)
 
There are no avi's in the mobile version..in fact, there are no pics...lol

Lol, it seems to be gone now. It was happening for at least an hour. Like you said, it isn't a cookie issue, because I can't see pics in the mobile version anyway.

I bet that was it, though this pic looked suspiciously like a lead-in to a porn site.

It was some dark hairs dude with burns and a goatee, tatted up right arm, and some blonde leaning into his crotch while he pulls her shirt up. Hank, it's a G1, look into it. :lol:
 
Dude, stop surfing porn sites on your mobile and getting popups :D


The mobile skin has about 5 pics total, and none of them are people.
 
Is it the same pop-up each time? Perhaps it's a logic-bomb virus. You can get virusses on your mobile phone.
