Never enough
to have not really cheated and to have gone kind of light on my carb up day Saturday, and already starting to get horrible cravings by Tuesday. Its going to be a long week :P

Eh, I guess it's a lesson learned.
Just try to snack on sensible items to kill the urge. When I get this way, I make an extra thick protein drink, and eat a handful of carrots. All in all, I only consume 15gC, while getting in 50gP.
 
yeah, I had exciting cheat meal plans for saturday, but my 4yo daughter threw up repetitively on the way to the festival so we never got there and I just ate at home. I still sort of carbed up, but not the way I had planned :D

I have all sorts of non-carby snacks here, but its the refined carbs craving i'm getting. i might do a bowl of oatmeal after cardio tomorrow, something like that if i'm still feeling like this.
 
I don't know what your diet set up is like easy, but two things that helps me stick to low carb days are:
1) 8oz Farmers Cheese + 2 Scoops protein + 2 tbsp Peanut butter. Mix together until it becomes like a cookie dough
2) If I need something crunchy Brazil Nuts do the job pretty well.
 
I've been using chicharones for crunch (latin style pork rinds, got fresh ones at a market the other day). Sometimes the PB does help, i may go have some more.

A lot is mental, I had really been looking forward to saturday. It was the Kumquat festival, and they do ice cream pies, all sorts of fair/festival food. so it would have been a serious over the top carbup/cheat day.
 
Not the best idea, but if I'm absolutely craving food that doesn't meet my dietary goals, I pop in some Snus. Takes the appetite away quick fast!

I feel you brother. I have my heart set on a King Cake for this weekend, and I am counting the days.

I was having a serious sweet tooth earlier today, so I bought some sugar free Jello and canned whip cream. I am hoping that this will help in the meantime.
 
hmm yeah, I have a few packets of sf jello in the pantry. actually pudding too, although that still has carbs, just no sugar. thats not a bad idea at all

Bump on the SNUS man...I've been turned onto it in the last 6 months. Was a habitual 6 bag a week chewer...now I'm down to about 1 bag a month and 2-3 cans of Snus a month. Yes it's tobacco, no you don't spit (put it in upper lip). One nice thing about it is the fact that it's Steamed as opposed to Fired like regular chewing tobacco...about 1/10th as many carcinogens as regular chewing tobacco.

FIESTA GRILL
Shrimp, costillas, quail, carnitas, beef and chicken fajitas
with soft tortillas, guacamole and sour cream

then the whole family split both
MEXICAN APPLE PIE
Sizzled in Mexican Brandy Butter and topped with cinnamon ice cream

and

CHOCOLATE CAKE
With vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate sauce

ahhh

I was overstuffed, but happy

had chips + salsa, plus me + the wife split

I just started my refeed at 10am.

1 McDonalds Mcskillet burrito
2 mcDonalds Breakfast burritos
2 donuts

The thing that I am most presently surprised by is that before starting this diet I wouldn't have been able to eat all of this at once. Eating even half of this meal a few weeks ago would have left me completely bloated and ready to nap. Right now as I type this I feel fantastic, and full of energy.

Just do what I do and eat it anyway and then train extra hard the next week :D (oh, wait, I can't train hard afterwards anymore) :(
 
cucumbers. great snack to curb my cravings. and i hate them but i eat them due to these facts. good source of fiber too
