i liked powerfull it gave me good sleep immediately and towards the end of my one bottle run i started to see improvements in my workout. but IMO i think you need two bottles to really get the full effects of it. but i think at this point, im not sure how your training or eating habits are, but you need to eat alot if your looking to gain weight. to help you out the most i can, give out some stats, how many days a week you workout, what you eat, how frequently, goals, etc.

also, the search function is very beneficial

Its not bad but if you are just starting out I would first make sure you are eating correctly. Most importantly protein intake. If you are looking to bulk up fast make sure you eat about 2g of protein per lb of bodyweight which for you would be about 300g of protein. Also eggs are your friend, eggs have protein and naturally digest well if you eat the yolk and best of all they increase your testosterone and have a good amount of arachidonic acid.

A few good supps to start out with would be some preworkout creatine, a multi, and fishoil.

Lots of diff choices really.

I have been using it. I like it. I get a really good nights sleep. I recover alot faster. All in all I like the way this product works.:bb3:

hey man check out my log under the supp reviews. ive gained 9 pounds in 19 days on a bulk, a bit of fat, but some pretty big gains n a 1/4 inch on arms. id write out the supps but im takin a shiit ton of em. maybe itl give you an idea on stuff to take. did some good research on em 2.

and im takin powerfull as well. cant say what ive noticed besides great sleep, but my recovery is def. up. that bein said its hard to tell anything else because im takin so many supps. good luck findin somethin.

the log is "all i got for christmas is a mega supp stack" lol. check it out and look some of them up

I would save your money and buy some ZMA at walmart. its good for recovery, helps you getting deeper sleep, and increases natural testosterone production. For the fraction of the cost.. just saying'.

I have not used PowerFULL, but it's a similar product to IGF-2 by Applied Nutriceuticals. Both are HGH/testosterone boosters and NEITHER are HORMONAL products. IGF-2 is an AWESOME product. Great for gaining muscle mass and strength, whilst staying lean! And iading in recovery. Definitely one of the top natural products!

At your age (and being new to lifting), you don't need to use testosterone boosters. You don't really need any supplements other than the BASICS:
* Creatine
* Multivitamin
* Good Fats
* Protein
* BCAA's (some protein powders have these IN)
Stick to these for a few months, and then add in others once you have developed a solid base.

You will also see gains fairly quickly, provided you are eating ENOUGH.

At 19, you need some Creatine and Anabolic Pump.

ZMA is good when you are deficient.

Not true. ZMA is good for any athlete or bodybuilder as most are shown with a zinc and magnesium deficiency. More than 50% of americans have a deficency in Magnesium. as for the testosterone it simply elevates it and allows free test to be used. Does not create testosterone. It also allows for better deeper sleep which elevates GH. ZMA is good for anyone. As for anabolic pump, wouldnt waste my money on it. Creatine is a definite tho.

wrong.

How does it elevate testosterone?

How do you "elevate" testosterone without "creating" it? '

How does it "free" test?

Where did you find the 50% statistic?

Maybe Americans are deficient because diet is deficient so wouldn't correcting diet be the best approach/advice instead of supplementing with ZMA.

Judging by your response, AP is not for you.

I got the 50% statistic from The Upcoming Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Many reasons why American are deficient in say Zinc is because when taken with calcium, calcium greatly blocks the absorption of Zinc. This is a basic understanding of ZMA. As for a diet? Yeah it helps but with an increase in activity comes a loss in nutrients. So you must make sure your body is getting those nutrients. When your activity increases so does your blood sugar level and the frequency of metabolic activities such as urination. This is why vitamins and nutrients are lost. are used up requiring more.

Lets look here:

powerFULL's claims:Double Growth Hormone Production **
Increase Natural Testosterone Production By 53% **
Slash Recovery In Half **
Throbbing, Rock-Hard Erections That Last **
Improve Complexion – Clear, Glowing Skin **
Sleep Like A Baby **

wow similar to the claims that ZMA makes.

PowerFULL:36.95 for 90+ servings. (confused about the +)
ZMA: 200 servings for nine dollars at Walmart.

Stick with creatine, protein, and bcaa's dont waste your money on AP. Lift weight.

USPLabs' point was that one would get the most benefits from a ZMA product, if those minerals and vitamin (B6) were not in sufficient cellular concentrations already. If one is deficient in those agents, ZMA can have effects that support anabolism, because zinc (monomethionine), magnesium (aspartate), and vitamin B6 collectively support a lot of metabolic processes in the body. Once cellular concentrations of these agents are saturated, ZMA's effects are no longer as pronounced. By the way, if anyone is looking for a product that contains these agents, ZMK by Millennium Sport Technologies is by far the best, in my opinion. Miles ahead of simplyeZMA products.

In any case, PowerFULL-type products work via different known pathways to elicit testosterone-modulating and GH-boosting results. Unlike ZMA-type products, PowerFULL-type products must be cycled because of the potent outcomes they generate. Consequently, I would be hesitant to compare the two classes of products directly.

I've used ZMA, Powerfull, IGF-2 and Bullet Proof...I can say, without a doubt, that I know when I'm taking either IGF-2 or Powerfull! When I use either of these products my sleep is amazing!

maybe having quality sleep is ever-rated? :think:

as far as calcium interfering with absorption of Zinc...I think the ZMK alleviates this issue?

back to the OP, unless you're having issues getting restful sleep then you prob don't need Powerfull yet...but it works!

USP has also been nice enough to offer the ingredients of powerfull in bulk forms as well :beerchug:

Powerfull is a great product but like so many others have said, at 19 it would b a waste. I don't think someone ur age would reap it's full benefits. At ur age libido and sleep should already b good

zinc is also important in controlling inflammation, a critical factor in brain dysfunction. it is also used by more enzymes (300) than any other mineral; enzymes that help synthesize proteins etc.

zinc is also used by more enzymes (300) than any other mineral; enzymes that help synthesize proteins etc. low levels can also be associated with depression (zinc is needed for the enzyme dopamine hydroxylase that makes the happy hormone noradrenaline from dopamine)

it would be more beneficial for this kid to donate the 40.00 to keep this forum running then to buy AP, or PowerFull. im done saying anything else.

powerful has changed the formula. I used the old stuff and had some great gains in the gyn. Not sure how the new stuff is.

Didn't read much of the stuff said, but just from his stats I'd say Powerfull won't do much.

If you're 6'1'' and only 150lbs, I'd say you have A LOT to gain before going after any sort of supp at all. Staples like Protein Shakes, Kwik Carb, Orange Triad, a pre-workout stuff and some creatine mono will do wonders for someone who still has so much to gain before hitting the slightest bit of a plateau.

Just my 2c.

Edit:
Went over and read some of it that wasn't whether product is good or not.

And I'd second everything there.

Have you tried anabolic pump? I was a bit skeptical too, but decided to give it a run. I'm stacking it with Powerfull and Blue up and I'm thrilled. If you follow the instructions regarding dose timing and carb intake it really works.

Check my thread on it for details. I cannot post the link due to not having enough posts, but you can find it by going thru my profile.

I have not tried it but let me ask. Basically what I gather from it, it helps regulate insulin?

Among other things, yes. Check the write-up on USP's forum for detail, I'm ill equipped to describe it in detail. Perhaps one of the USP reps can post a quick-n-dirty rundown??

It seems to allow me to carb-load while actually stripping a bit of fat, the stack has me growing, and my pumps are insane and long-lasting. I don't get the "food pump" they describe, however.

The long lasting pump is the "food pump." you are just experiencing it at a differen time:thumbsup:

if i want to regulate my insulin, ill take the necessary carbs pre or post workout. Ill save my money.

how can you take shots at a product you know nothing about/ have never tried?

To the OP, if you have your diet down, in my opinion AP is one of the best supps out there.

im not taking shots at a product. The rep said that kid needed creatine and Anabolic Pump. The kid doesnt need Anabolic pump. People place way to much emphasis on supplements, some it seems even more on training. if you have your diet down, Anabolic pump is just a waste of 40.00.
