Bending the Spoon. Enter the "Shred" Matrix...

The funny thing is that we have lots of candy and junk food that has been given us for Christmas and is in the house, but I'm not tempted by that. It is when I am out at parties hanging with friends having a good time that I want to top it off with the chocolate, or cheesecake or Chex Mix that's laying out...

That damn Chex Mix! If I eat ONE I eat the entire bag.
 
Wheat Thins and Goldfish are the worst for me. I can down an entire box of those things so easily.

When I was little, I used to rent a video game and movie every Friday. I'd easily slam a bunch of Coca-Cola and an entire sleeve of Pringles or box of Wheat Thins on my Fridays.

That was back when TGIF was on...Family Matters, Boy Meets World, etc.
 
Pizza blasted Goldfish use to be like crack for me, I swear I could eat a whole ocean worth of them in a sitting.

Boy meets World use to be on when I would get out of highschool everyday, so me and one of my friends would watch two episodes a day, man do I miss that show.....

Ya, man. I loved that show. I used to think Topanga was so hot. :lol: - When I was watching that at a younger age on Fridays, that's when the new episodes would come out. I started to lose some interest during the college episodes. It got too serious.
 
Ya, that was before BW's time.

I feel bad for younger kids nowadays. What the heck do they have to watch on TV now?...Even when I was in Junior High, the Disney channel had sweet movies every Friday, such as Johnny Tsunami (that movie still kicks major butt). There is nothing anymore.

I used to love all the old cartoons with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy. Not necessarily made in my time, but certainly loved in my time. Ooooo... I really liked Little House on the Prairie. Such a girl show, but it was good! I'd wake up every morning at 6am to watch it. :D

I missed the 80's by a year. :( I was born in 1990...

I do remember Full House though, it was still playing, and I liked that show a lot. Vaguely remember Family Matters, but the nerdy kid always bugged me, so I never watched it.

Sorry to say guys, Dinosaurs was stupid, even as a little 5 year old I didn't like them. :p

Resolve, we can watch Dinosaurs together every once in a while, if you'd like. :)

I took a second dose of SM 45 minutes before my second workout. I was feeling pretty good this afternoon, after taking a 2hr, 40 minute nap. :D The workout wasn't too draining for me...

4x12

Leg Press (170,190 lb)
w/ Cable Chest Press (40lbs)

DB Bent Row (30lb)
w/ Hammer Curls (22.5 lb)

NG Decline Bench Press (70 lbs)
w/ Calves (170 lb)

I used a different Leg Press Machine this time. The regular leg press tends to hurt my back. This was a cable leg press machine that I didn't have to load the weights onto. I ended up using less weight on this one.

Like I said, This workout wasn't as draining as many of the others I've done. I still feel worked out, but not overworked. I like it. :)

Now, I'm off to go watch Edward Scissorhands- one of my favoritest movies ever!

I have seen Chocolat. I don't remember much of it, since I saw it so long ago, but I recall it being a good movie...

I usually wasn't into all the fad's. And Urkel was somewhat annoying, you have to admit. I had 3 younger brothers around the time that that show was popular, and I had enough of annoying little boys! :D

Shred Matrix: Day Off

Today and tomorrow are my days off of SM. I find that being off of Shred for a couple of days really does increase my sensitivity to it. I'll get back into the gym after being off for 2 days, and I'll have a lot of energy due to SM. :thumbsup: In other words, I feel much more energetic on my Monday workout after the break from SM and lifting, than on Friday, after a week of working my body as well as taking SM.

This morning I went for a 30 minute fasted walk... I may do sprints today, or a circuit.
 
I remembered you saying you may/did pick up Reset-AD. I don't know if you read my post on it, but I'd recommend cycling one week on ResetAD @ 3caps/day, and then running your stims for 4wks, rinse, repeat. I don't think there's a need to run a full bottle for a month...You may also use it in conjunction WITH your stims for increased sensitivity on a daily basis.

Thanks for the tip. I actually picked a bottle up. :) It was sooo cheap on NutraPlanet ($14) I couldn't refuse.

I wonder if taking Reset AD on Saturday and Sunday (my off days from Shred Matrix) would work? Do you think it would be enough to increase my sensitivity?

Possible. I noticed it very soon...if you did that, I'd continue dosing it with your stims throughout the week.

Make sure you take it on an empty stomach. The bottle doesn't say that, but I think it makes a difference.

I did a body weight circuit tonight. Wow, does it work! I was sweating profusely the entire 30-40 minutes I was working out. I don't doubt at all that this will help me lose weight. :D
 
I've been so tired all this afternoon! I figure it is partially because I am not taking Shred Matrix. I look forward to getting back on it tomorrow.

I just did another body weight circuit for some cardio. Tomorrow I'll be lifting heavy, 6x3 for RDL's in the morning- :woohoo: <<<-----my favorite heavy lift! :D
 
Hey, me too! :D - My parents bought me an 8-cup press. I previously only had the 1-cup. They bring out the flavor so much more than a drip machine.


Even the cheapest coffee is made to taste pretty good with the press. We've used ours every morning since we've gotten it. :)

I usually make all 8 cups with the press, and then I have a carafe that I pour it into to keep it hot. I polish that off while I spend 1-1.5hrs on AM. :D
 
The coffee press is awesome, they are even better when you do a really course grind right before using it. I have one of the 8 cup ones myself but hardly ever use the things. The other thing I have is just a little funnel type thing that sits on top of your coffee mug, then you put a filter in it, fill it with ground coffee, pour in boiling water and you have one or two cups of hot coffee. Supposedly unfiltered coffee like the press can raise your cholesterol if you use it often, but I imagine you would have to drink a lot of coffee for a long time to have that happen.

Yep! Coarser ground beans are the way to go with the press! I'd like to pick up a new grinder if I can, but they can get pretty expensive. I just spent a good bit on supps, so I'll have to wait.
 
Your talking about my favourite supplement, coffee, i love it so much, i think i spend more money on coffee, than supplements.
 
Shred Matrix: Day 16

I took my first dose of Shred Matrix at about 8am this morning. I was lifting weights by 8:45. Unfortunately I have been tired this morning. I didn't feel the affects of Shred while I was working out, I'm sure that it has something to do with getting up a bit earlier than I had over the weekend. My body was thrown off a little. Hopefully I'll feel an energy boost with tonight's workout.

Morning Workout:

6x3
BB Romanian Deadlifts (165 lbs)
supersetted w/ DB Military Press (40 lbs)

6x3 Chin Ups (BW)
supersetted w/ 3x8 Mule Kicks (55 lbs),
Then 3x3 BB Reverse Curls (40 lbs)

3x8 DB Snatches (37.5 lbs)

I was having a tough time with this workout. Being tired, I didn't have a lot of energy, and it took me a long time to warm up. I did very well on my Deads though. I think I did well on all of my movements- I really pushed myself and I think I even set a PR with my deads, Snatches, and Curls. :D

I had major lactic acid buildup. Last night's circuit paired with this mornings intense workout made me almost puke by the end of my Snatches. :sick: - I suppose this is a good indicator that I am pushing myself very hard!

I weighed in this morning at 163. I am holding on to a lot of water, I can feel it.
