One Week into OTC PCT

Well one week in to OCT PCT and everything going fine

Without blood tests the only things I have to go on are libidio and Strength. During this PCT my main goal is to not lose any of the strength gained on cycle. To Measure this what i did is one exercise for each bp 5x5 during my final week of cycle.
I then use that exact same weight during the 1st 3 weeks of PCT i don't go up in weight as my focus is maintaining where I was I might go up in reps however.

So this week which is always mentally the hardest part of PCT for me and technically when you should be at your lowest because your natural test needs time to start kicking in from your PCT.

Flat DB Presses, DB rows, DB curls, Rope Pushdowns, Leg Presses and Calf Presses are stayed the same weight as on cycle.

The only thing is I forgot recovery time isn't as fast and I my chest and traps were sore 48 later something i didn't have while on cycle.

Now I know many people say you MUST have a serm etc. But I don't go by theory I go by experience so I needed to try OTC for myself. I also come from a time when everybody said OTC Supps 4ad, methyl 1-t would NEVER work. I have almost 15 years experience with A.S. So i know how my body reacts during PCT. Also since this Is my first OTC PCT I do have Letro and Nolva in an emergency. I don't plan on using them unless something comes up.

Remember everybody is different and what works well for me might not work as well for you but so far so good on OTC btw I am also not using the Kitchen sink approach with OTC either.

I thought I would post because we see alot of people talking about OTC PCT but not that many people actually running it or logging it if they do run it
 
This will help some of my buddies who choose to use only OTC PCT supps. You're doing a great thing for us, thank you and keep us posted.

BTW, what are you taking?
 
Just Reversitol and Lean Extreme Like I said no kitchen sink for me I want to know what's working. I chose to run Lean Extreme from Day one because I got some advice that made sense when your Test is Low Cort will be High and Test is always going to be lower at beginning of PCT. Besides that the only supps are controlled labs reduction and I upped my carb intake to keep energy high.
 
Day 10
2nd Chest Workout went GREAT
Same weight as last week on cycle but this time 3x5 and 2x8
so added reps on the last 2 sets
Incline DB and Incline Flys weights and reps same.
So overall still very Happy strength up slighty 2nd week in
Will report back tomorrow on back day
 
I agree with Pem...18 weeks is definetley overkill...not to mention more expensive, but if it worked for you and you are happy with it then so be it:drunk::dance:
I don't quite follow, the cycle was overkill or the pct?

Both turned out beautifully.:)

what are you running PCT for? what compound did you cycle and for how long?

Just Reversitol and Lean Extreme (contolled labs reduction for fat burning and superpump only pre-wo) I don't really include the last two as part of PCT though

I was on a pretty heavy cycle that included
sdrol, mmv2, cyclo tren, and 1-t cyp(inject)
 
Damn, I haven't had 1-test cyp in a long time. I ran it back when Sledge (DS) was selling it.

That **** was pure pain, but WOW did it work! I'd love to get my hands on some of that again.

Actually mine is quite painless. but then I brewed it that way using less %BA and higher BB
 
wow. what a cycle to test a weak pct on ..... good luck keepin gains. not talkin shiii just dont think these two products are gonna cut it though. Im still watching though. gl.

Well we'll see. One of the main reasons of testing it out on this cycle is the fact I am on a cut so I don't have to worry about keeping Weight on. Plus if strength does drop I can always add in my tamox. Luckily I've always had pretty good recovery through the years. I didnt' want to go kitchen sink but I do have other backup if it's needed.

Day 11 Back and Legs
DB Rows last week 5x5 this week 3x6 2x8
Pull ups and Pulldowns same
Leg Extensions and Curls last week 4x8 this week 5x8
Leg presses Calf Raises last week 5x5 and 5x10 this week 3x5 2x8 and 3x10 and 2x15

So again 2nd workout on back and legs
NO Loss in Strength All the same weights some exercises up in sets or reps. So Far so Good
 
well I wish we knew what amounts of 6-Bromo and ATD are actually in reversitol.... they can both be fairly potent and great for PCT but still dont think they can cut it on their own... you using anything preworkout, any creatines any other supps at all?

Yes superpump pre work out 4x a week.

WEll there is another big reason I am trying OTC PCT especially on a heavy cycle.

See even if this PCT is only 70-80% as good as a serm and I end up losing a percentage of gains it will be ok. Because I have a son who's old enough to remember last time I went on "vacation" and a daughter who doesn't know what that means and i promised both I'd never go away without them.

I know a traditional PCT would be better but I think what I am on is enough to ensure I keep a healthy amount of my on cycle gains and what ever losses may come i'll deal with them. After all i've been doing this a long time it's not like I'm going to freak out if my Bench or weight fluctuates a little there's always next cycle right? This Lifestyle is a Marathon not a sprint.

Well good luck to you, I still think this could be more comprehensive but I also understand the whole kitchen sink thing... at least youll know how this does solo and can build on it from here I guess... and yeah like I said i do have alot of other stuff on hand in case and if strength does drop I will throw it in.
but I wanted to do a sample of 4 weeks to see how this worked and if it works good then next time I will add some more to make it even better
 
Day 14 update:

Weight: Same as last day on PCT I atributed this to higher carb intake and less cardio:

Libido: Regular or High

Strength: UP or Even. I have added either Reps, Sets, or Weight on my Main exercise for Chest, Back, Shoulders, Traps, and Legs

Bi, Tri, Calves I have kept the same weight as last week of cycle. Not trying to go up I am more concentrating on very strict form and getting good pumps.

Next week hope for the same and if all goes well on Day 22 I will add in Incarnate, Anabolic Edge from PAl and Anabolic Extreme from DS as well as the Levithan/DCP stack to continue my cutting.

The one thing I do feel has suffered slightly during PCT is my endurance and muscle recovery.

Day 14 workout today was supposed to be an "off" day just abs cardio and some bodyweight exercise pushups pullups dips etc. Now I dont' know if this has happened to any of you but I was alone in the gym and this pair of weights started taunting me. just looking at me telling me I couldn't get them up. It wasn't chest day and I'm not even scheduled to move up in weight at this point but I couldn't help it.

I did flat db's 5x5 with a higher weight than on cycle. YEP i'm having fun on this PCT.

Thanks i was pretty psyched because that put me at a total10% over my weight on DB presses for sets. I might need to get some wraps this weekend because it's getting to the point on back and chest where my grip is giving before my strength
 
i do that all the time mixed, always say ok this is cardio ab day or something like that and i end up knocking out a few sets......sometimes alot more!
 
Day 17:

Ok guys I promised an Honenst Log and I am keeping to it. Telling the Goods and the Bads So Far everything has been Great But This weekend.... And This could be what I call PCT Paranoia etc.

But anyway this weekend I start thinking I am looking Smaller for some reason. Now Weight hasn't changed at all. And Strength has gone up. So I ask my wife who is always a Hard Judge and she says either I am looking smaller or maybe not as HARD. So now I'm not sure could be several things holding extra water. Muscles just can't keep the real hard look off of the juice etc.
Also started using Naplam on shoulders and arms this weekend could lead to a softer look.


So anyways what do I do?? Ofcourse I go right into my drawer and see what I have LOL.

So starting this morning I am adding in
PAl Anabolic Edge, Levithan, and DS Activate Extreme. Still all OTC just a little extra to make me feel at ease.

So you may very well be holding the same weight on the scale but who knows what it consists of now.

I think your choice is wise. Should help to boost and optimize what test you have now and fight the muscle sparing war a lil better, plus I feel Activate type supps are much better used later in PCT anyhow once some test has been established and then you can do the freeing up business and see some real effects from it.

Also yes, Napalm can def cause some sub Q water retention giving a softer look.

I feel a little better today after my workout I went up in weight on DB rows and stayed the same on other exercises so strength is still not decreasing. I am upping my water intake and going lower carbs this week to see if it's water.

Also I feel it may be the Napalm because AB defintion hasn't decreased but my shoulders and bi's definetly look "softer" I'm sure now that i have the new supps in everything should be fine. This actually happens to me probally every PCT where I start feeling small lol I am also going to increase cardio a litte one or two more 400meter intervals just incase it is a fat increase. However I have been staying in a cal deficit so not to worried.
 
Day 18:

Feeling much better probably a placebo effect but been drinking a ton of water and flushing the system

Today was Chest and Back
Flat DB I went up another 5lbs from Friday and reps
did 5x6
Incline Presses same
Incline Flyes up 5lbs
Leg Extensions and Curls up 10lbs
Calf presses 5x15 last week 3x10 2x15

Workout felt real good. Maybe the combo of superpump and Incarnate gave me an extra boost.

Thanks, Yeah I think Holding Water may of been playing tricks on me because I was on a low carb for 9 weeks then I about doubled my daily carb intake for the first two weeks of PCT. But This weeks Workouts have been great.
 
Nothing much to report on Day 19 just did Shrugs Abs and Cardio quick workout my day to pick up the kids.

One thng is i think the soft look was definetly coming from higher carb intake over the 1st two weeks I weighed in this morning after being on low carbs since sunday and am down 2lbs. Which is fine since I'm still cutting.

Not sure if it'a a placebo but during my morning bodyweight set I alternate between, pushups, bodyweight squats, or squat thrust in the morning just to get blood pumping etc. I've had energy and done quite a few extra reps could be the Anabolic Edge kicking in. If it keeps going like this it is definetly going to be a staple of my PCT going forward as muscle endurance and recovery is the one thing that has been lacking during PCT.

Well today is arms and tomorrow is shoulders. concentrating more on strict clean movements instead of weight so weights should stay the same. reps may move higher. Tomorrow is day 21 Yay I made it through 3 weeks with no sides to speak of

I agree on the LX.

Reversitol, alot of good feedback thus far.

I am latching on to this thread.

I believe in OTC PCT. (person and cycle dependent, of course)

Thats a good cycle in itself........ For sure.

At the moment yes.

I started weeks 1-2 with just Reversitol and LX

on Day 17 i added in Anabolic Edge, Incarnate, and DS Activate Extreme.

Forgive my ignorance here, but what is "vacation" metaphoric for? I have an idea, but did not want to be guilty of thinking the wrong thing. Just to go on a limb, is it the big house?

Don't sweat it not alot of people catch the vacation thing but you are correct with your guess

I caught the metaphor, but was wondering about the same paragraph, hehe. Reading it several times over, it still sounds as though the SERM (as opposed to an otc post cycle) was the cause of your 'vacation'. I apologize for dwelling on this, but am I off on my interpretation?

i dont think it was the cause, he is just being extra careful not to mess with anything that may have legality issues. am i right?
 
DAY 20: Arms

Pretty good work out today I wasnt' scheduled to go up in weights but I took 2 Levithan with My Incarnate Pre WO and was feeling good

so here is yesterday
Preacher Curls: Same as last week
DB Hammer Curls: Up 5lbs
Close Grip Cable Curls: Up 5lbs
Tricep Pushdowns: Up 5lbs
Single Arm Tricep Extensions up 5lbs

Also Bi's were feeling really pumped after Preacher Curls Yesterday.
 
Day 24 Chest

thought it wasn't going to be good Shoulder has been hurting since Fridays work out well not shoulder but rotator cuff.

Flat DB Presses 5x6 same weight as last week ( Very Happy Because last week I had gone up 10lbs on the DB's)

Incline DB's ( I was warmed up now Levithan and Incarnate give a kind of energy I can't explain it's not jittery really feel it but it's there.
I went up 5lbs 4x8
Incline flys really couldn't get as good a streth as I liked kept weight the same did 3 sets of 10 instead of 4 trying to conserve shoulder.

Over all everything is fine. One thing to not a little acne on my back probablly just body re-regulating
 
Day 25 Back and Legs
Pretty Good Day
DB Rows stayed the same but felt easier than last week when I first jumped up in weight.
Pull-ups the same
Pulldowns went up in weight 10lbs but one less set short on time
Leg extensions and Leg Curls added 10lbs

This is basically the last heavy workout of my PCT as only shoulders and arms left this week and I was very happy with it. I hope this may have helped some people out and those reading enjoyed it. If you have any further questions feel free to pm me.

So all together I know you were cutting BUT how do you feel muscle mass held up? didnt yo say for the most part you felt as though strength was maintained as well if not improved on??

and lastly how do you FEEL now compared to past SERM based PCT's? well enough to consider yourself recovered and libido intact??

I really wish you were bulking so maintenance of muscle mass would have been more apparent and weight numbers could be used as a marker but if strength was still maintained, especially after a cycle like you ran, then thats still a fairly good sign.

Over all opinions?
