Volcom’s, Controlled Labs NEW White Flood CAPS (Sponsored TESTER)

I can't say I solely attribute this to RESET-AD. I did have Leviathan Reloaded in the picture.

What I was expecting from the RESET-AD wasn't an enhanced or an even extended stim effect. I was more curious as how RESET-AD would enhance White Flood's nootropic effects, but both physical energy and mental energy were enhanced. LR would have attributed to the physical energy portion, but not the mental energy, acuity and sustained wakefulness (all of which generally go downhill after a BIG morning Stim Burn like I ingested.

However, with your question posed, I'll give White Flood + Reset-AD a run, without the LR and see how that goes, so I may be able to provide a more integral answer.

That is great news, now I'm even more keen on RESET . I'm also curious to see how it treats you in the absence of LR.

Today is an official rest day and an off day for the DTHC and Sunami, but I did continue my ingestion of White Flood and Icariin-50. Tomorrow, my stack in it's entirety commences.

How dare you ?! :stick: :)

Gotcha!! I know that Blue UP recommends dosing 5 days on and then 2 days off and so does PRIME. But I'm taking PRIME 7 days a week per Mulletsoldier's instructions. I think most people are taking it consistently like that. But the company instructions say to dose it 5 days on and 2 days off. I was just curious. Since all of these are natty products, I've always wondered why they suggest the staggered dosing protocol like that. You wouldn't "bounce" back on the 2 days off since it's natty anyway I would think. Hmmm, very interesting.

In the case of Prime, the reason behind the recommendation is due to the increased acetyl choline levels, which in turn causes the freaky endurance of the fast-twitch muscle fibers, which causes insane workouts -- and also can lead to overtraining (gee, nobody in this thread knows anything 'bout overtraining do they??) since recovery is so improved that you don't feel like taking a day off. The company is trying to safeguard from CNS burnout.

We do but we choose to ignore it ;)

Exactly, me too. But therein lies the danger. Beating your CNS into the ground for an extended period of time will lead to negative results, especially for the natty athlete.

I will definitely give that a go this week, preferably on one of the mornings where I can take a full dose of White Flood and report my findings Invalid Link Removed

damn my natty'ness'ness.

Well that wasn't directed to you per se Sam, altho you do overtrain and you know it. Overtraining to a point has it's usefullness, but extended abuse will bite ya in the @ss. Everybody has their own threshholds for abuse tho, and I trust - as knowledgeable & in tune with your body as you are - that you know your limits.

Carry on, soldier..

NO, NO, NOOO! REST SOLDIER :)

I'm getting ready to start my fourth week in a few days and I can see the reasoning behind this. I mentioned the freaky endurance yesterday in my workout report. I mentioned that in my lighter back off sets, that the reps were getting higher and higher causing me to have to increase the poundages even on these finishing-off sets. I feel like a machine. I just want to keep on pumping out the reps. My lactic-acid threshold and pain threshold have been pushed further and further back lately. To sum it all up: I'm having a ball!! :djparty::woohoo:

Day 18

I've restarted my DTHC/Sunami, after a one day break as suggested and I can "feel" the difference. Libido is noticeably up about 5 hours after my original dose. I have my second coming up soon.

My lower back is still nice and tweaked and that's getting me down on my spirits. I "attempted" SMITH shrugs yesterday, not even barbell, where I need to rely heavily on core stability, but SMITH and I felt 50% weaker on Shrugs. After a 135lbs warm up, I knew it wasn't a good day to get back in the gym. Currently, I'm basically relegated to bi's and tri's, maybe some light, seated Db delt work. My left pec is still not ready for weight training yet either, so I'm on the push ups program for chest.

I do overtrain. "Normally" my overtraining only occurs during logs. I have that extra kick in the butt and sense of responsibility to maximize my supplements, so I'm in the gym like a full time job (that I love). This normally only lasts 4-6 weeks and I go back to regular-people lifting, meaning, sensible. However, I believe this is my 3rd log IN-A-ROW, with my excessive and obsessive lifting, which may be why my body is falling apart on me.

My invincibility complex is being verily humbled. Invalid Link Removed

I may have topped myself in exotic, various protein sources lunches.

- Chinese Green Onion Squid
- Short Ribs
- Spicy Chittlins (I'm sure Thunder knows about this one). Invalid Link Removed

I just got back from the Chiro. I got some E-Stim and Spine Manipulations and I feel 85% better. Some people are afraid of the Chiro, but I've had great experiences with Chiro's fixing my back problems. The electrical muscle stimulation does wonders for muscle spasms and the manipulations help a lot also.

Last summer, The Firm comped my Chiro visits from beginning to end. In 2006 The Firm comped about 6 months worth of treatments consisting of Chiro and Acupuncture when I had a slip disc, but not this time. $55 out the pocket for a single session, not cheap, but well worth it.

I agree, acupunture is a great treatment modality. Good to see you've had success with the chiro and such.

Great log vol!

I got to refer back to my days in China . . . around the same time I got molested by a masseuse . . . I had an insanely high blood pressure, and uncontrollable sweats (particularly in China, wtf?), and my mom took me to her Herbal Doctor. I had the CUP treatment, where they do the warm suction cups all over your back to 'clean your pores inside/out', followed by an acupuncture treatment. I did the acupuncture four times in three weeks, alongside of doctor-prescribed (YES, they prescribe herbal tea formulas for any ache and pain] and there was a definite difference in overall feeling of wellbeing and stress, which resulted in a reduction in BP.

My mom suggested I get in touch with a local acupuncturist whenever I went back to the US following my visit in China, but I found it to be too expensive to continue . . but my impression was very positive, and I would gladly try this kind of treatment again [granted funds are available] . . .

Day 18; Back

Following my Chiro visit, I felt good enough to go in the gym, but with the utmost caution to take it easy. I hit back today, but I kept solely to vertical movements, as to avoid even the risk of leaning and lumbar straining associated with horizontal movements.

Free Weight Loaded, Lat Pull Down - Close, underhand grip.
225lbs x 10 reps
235lbs x 10 reps
245lbs x 8 reps
255lbs x 6 reps

Free Weight Loaded, Lat Pull Down - Wide, overhand grip.
185lbs x 10 reps
195lbs x 8 reps
205lbs x 6 reps

Free Weight Loaded, Lat Pull Downs - Behind the neck.
135lbs x 12 reps
145lbs x 10 reps
155lbs x 10 reps

Lat Pull Downs - Wide, Neutral Grip.
150lbs x 10 reps
165lbs x 8 reps
165lbs x 8 reps

Lat Pull Downs - Close, Neutral Grip.
165lbs x 10 reps
180lbs x 8 reps

Lat Pull Downs, Machine
225lbs x 10 reps
245lbs x 8 reps

I performed the wide & close neutral grips with my chest ridiculously, accentuated toward the ceiling, this way i didn't have to lean back to get more of an upper back stim, as oppose to a primary lat based stimulation.

I started to drench in sweat again, which has always been associated with the White Flood, historically. Again, my stamina seems incessant and my mental drive remains fresh throughout. I stopped mostly because I was running out of time and because I knew it was time to wrap it up. I was heading a little past the 45 min mark and I like to keep my workouts under 60 min (as far as resistance training, cardio not included).

I'll have to look back to see if I'm making any strength improvements. I did begin my last back workout in this same manner, so a side by side comparison would be an accurate indication of progress.

My back is improving, now I just need my left pec to get with the program!

I was prescribed a tea before. One of the tea ingredients, apart from numerous twigs and powders, were the exoskeleton of crickets. It didn't look right, but it actually tasted pretty good. It looked like I was boiling crickets for tea.

P.S. One of my uncle's in Taiwan does that suction cup method, it leaves you looking kind of like a mutant when you're done. I come from a very medical background. One uncle is Chief of Medicine at a Hospital and the other runs his own acupuncture/chiro business. They use some odd techniques over seas. One of my uncle's neck techniques consists of placing his hand on your face while it's turned, then he smacks down on his hand that's pressed on your face with some serious impact. At first it feels like you've been b!itch slapped, then you realize a bunch of neck pain is gone. Very odd method, far too aggressive for western standards.

Your mom sounds oddly like my mom...

Hahaha, that's hilarious, man ! Perhaps it's based on the philosophy of; fight pain with even harsher pain ! . . you probably forget you had pain in the neck because your face hurts too bad ! LOL . . Jk, man, I love the alternate ways they have in the East. It's very inspirational. I mean . . we think WE know our supplements and herbal remedies !? $hiiiiiit . . . I don't think so !

As you can see, I've definitely moved up in a reasonable manner within the span of 6 days. The strength boost primarily implicates the DTHC/Sunami.

Next, let's look at,
ENHANCED STAMINA

This is a comparison of Day 12 vs Day 18 (today) in terms of improved stamina.

Lat Pull Downs, Machine
225lbs x 10 reps
245lbs x 8 reps

Let the record show, Day 18 was cut short due to time constraints, I had plenty more in me. This latter portion, is definitely more indicative of the positive effects of White Flood. Increased physical energy and mental energy, not to mention the other positive physiological stemming from the Beta-Alanine and the NO & Vasodilation effects.

I was thinking about acupuncture to relieve stress & improve health

Acupuncture is normally around $40-$45 per visit, Chiro's range from $40-$55 per visit, but that normally includes electrical muscle stimulation and spine manipulation, sometimes even myofascial release.

Cool, thank you!

what are you going in for? Bone, muscle spasm and muscle sprains I'd pick the chiro. Acupuncture is more about instantly relieving pain, there are healing properties to it as well, but in my experience, Chiro's did more to fix then problem, then merely remove the pain temporarily, but that's in regards to muscle sprains and bone aggravations. My uncle is an Accu so I'm not taking anything away from their ability to heal, but the more physical, like muscle sprains, bone issues, rather then physiological like headaches or numbness, I'd go Chiro.

doesn't acupuncture only work if you believe in it?

No . . there's more to it than that. I walked in in denial . . but walked out a believer . . not because someone told me, 'you'll feel better,' but simply because there was a sense of rejuvination.
