911, whats up? Dboyzl's test!

Well I went in to find my 1 rep max of my squat, DL, and bench...took my little brothe to spot me....
i warmed up nice and light weight with squats.
put on 410 got down and 1/2 way back up when i got this serious pain in my lower back....got it the rest of the way up and about cried.
talked to a paramedic about it (was handy and wasn't going to wait for a doctor) and was told that it might be a ruptured disc.
*i'll give it a couple days to be sure before i make an app with the doc

The only reason I was asking about your squat earlier was back in April you could only squat 205x2. Here we are in October, you haven't gained more than a few pounds and you're putting up 400+? Oddly your bench has stayed relatively the same from what I've seen. Not doubting you, but that's some freaky progress. Have you been taking gear? I know you were asking around about it some time ago and TexasLifter has dabbled.........

we are definitely using the wrong technique if you are hurting yourself squatting that much. Perhaps you should take weight off and get your technique right before you go any higher. You may think you are doing it right but who knows.
 
oh i know for fact that my form was wrong when i hurt myself...but i didn't notice it till i did it. guess i was more focused on the weight. i know, a mistake on my part.

as for the leg progress i will take vids next leg day just to defuse all the interest. give me a couple days to recoop tho. also, my bench HAS stayed the same but my triceps, legs, and shoulders have increased significantly in numbers....and now i can actually see some definition in my hammies.

no i have not been messin with any 'gear'. closest thing to it would be BLUE up or T-911. I genetically have strong legs (grandpa, his dad, my mom kinda) so when i actually started pushin them it didn't suprise me to increase in the weight.

Some people are just naturally strong in their legs, I know a 18year old rugby player who has only trained 3 months and he's squatting 380lbs now... totally amazing, but he's weak as hell on chest and pushing movements. Just the way it is.
 
see i have a problem developing my chest....well mainly flat bench anyways. i've gone up in weight a bit with incline...flat is just a weakness of mine
 
well i need to get bench up or i'm not going to have a shot at any powerlifting competitions however i want my chest to look even....not just big up top

3.6g beta alanine 20 min pre WO
Protein shake post WO

Thoughtage:
Quit taking the neovar to see if I still get pumps like I was....and it was intense today! I'm going to account the pump partially to the BA.
Ok...no homo....but......about 25 mins after taking the 2nd T-911 dose my balls felt almost like they had a pump. *just noting what i noticed
Oh and this is great to get you all rowled up.....but terrible for endurance lol.

the 2nd guy goes uhhh what does it do?
i'm like its for recovery and endurance....it prevents the build up of lactic acids essentially.
the 1st go starts to look over at a GNC brand product and was about to open his mouth before i stopped him and said i was only looking for what i came for.
the 2nd guy is like well we carry lots of great products for recovery and endurance

Anyways, he says, "They told me just to get this stuff instead." I'm thinking in my head, "Oh gosh. What the heck did they sell to him?!" He hands me a bottle of L-Arginine and I started laughing my ass off. Not AAKG, not Arginine Ethyl Ester...just a plain bottle of L-Arginine. Some Grandma company, too. They were like 250mg Tablets. MAYBE 90 tablets in the bottle. Probably cost him $20+. I pretty much told him he was a complete moron and I'm never again giving him any advice on supplements.

I don't give most of my friends supp advice for the same reasons. They always end up going to the local overpriced-crap shop and coming back, giddy as hell over their amazing new product/underdosed garbage. Then they get mad at me when they don't explode with hypertrophy.
 
well obviously not this one....i got mine in and took it in there and showed him what the hell it was and what it did. he said he'll see if they can start carrying it.

uhh... at mine it was made by their stupid GNC company and it was like 3 times the price as the stuff on NP. soo... buy it on NP.
 
i did buy it on NP. but i wanted to go in there and make him feel dumb. didn't really work though :(
i took 3.6g of pure BA before my WO 4 hours ago and i'm still wired....and still have somewhat of a pump.

maybe 3.6g is a little too much? lolol

Seriously! The last item I bought from gnc was potassium pills because of debilitating muscle cramps i was having! I needed it asap and they were only like $4. Otherwise I don't mind waiting to save $$$$ by ordering through the e-net!

If I order my supps from NP before 2pm, they're at my door by 2pm the next day. It would normally take me longer than that to get myself to go to a supp store.
 
i did say most. and no, i jsut have a diverse array of friends....most who don't goto the gym or anything to that extent.
