TimberLakers' H-Drol Beatdown

I've definitely had my best results with ECA/ECY on an empty stomach at least 45 minutes to an hour before meals.

Obviously everyone is a little different. If I took ECA + Rockstar on empty stomach, my head would explode.

I think TG is onto something. Try taking it a little earlier pre workout. I like to feel the buzz right as I walk into the gym.

The best way you can tell if the ECA has kicked in is if you can take very full and deep breaths. ECA will essentially clear out your sinuses and airways to the nth degree. (that is who it was still on the market when it was banned for fat burning supps).

You will get that Vegas casino feeling (since they pump in oxygen to keep you awake), and once you have it you have reached the promised land.

ECA is like creatine been around forever becuase it works.
 
I generally feel it kicking in around 10-15 min. My eyes feel like they're opened twice as big and I start seeing binary codes like the Matrix

My stimulant consumption can be ostentatious with no physiological side-effects, save for one: Sleep! Any stimulant consumption absolutely disturbs my sleep, and I simply cannot grow without 8 hours + of sleep. While the supercharged feeling of ephedrine and ephedrine derivatives add another dimension to training, I feel the cumulative effects eventually attenuate gains!

I need my sleep too, I have found though that as long as I dont take any stims after 4PM I am golden and sleep great. ZMA always does wonders for sleep.

My limit is 2pm
The effects of the ECA stay with me for hours after consumption. I train first thing in the mornings, so I'm golden here. I even take a double-dose on those grueling workouts. Like legs! :smite: But I don't take anymore the rest of the day. So by the time I'm ready for the sandman, :yawn: I'm cool. :cool:

I think the only time I've ever felt "Over-Stimmed" was when I took one full serving Adrenalean, 25mg Ephedrine and 12mg Yohimbine.
 
Man, you guys are pussies! ;) I can take ECY (25/300/10) at 8pm and be asleep at midnight. In all honesty I think it might have something to do with the fact that I was basically fed amphetamines my entire life (ritalin, adderall, etc.). I'm so glad I stopped taking that **** though...

I just bought Invalid Link Removed. To confirm, I can drop the Asprin portion of the ECA stack to may an ECY stack right? Would an ECAY stack be to extreme? LOL
 
Damn, so I took a dose again at 7AM and went to work... Then was like, ahh hell - I'll take another at 5PM because listen to this workout...

1.5 hours of legs and arms - balls to the wall...

Then a taxi uptown for 3 hours of Jiu Jitsu - a buddy of mine has a tournament this weekend and is getting in some last minute sparring.

I am SO drained right now. Had a tuna sandwhich - will have some casein - and I can't wait to hit the pillow. I do have a bit of a headache though. I don't think I'll be doing the 2x daily again.

The ECA is really great for the breathing - sweating like a motherf*cker - it's great. I'm definitely not feeling overstimmed though, which I'm grateful for. I'm very insensitive to caffiene due to what let's just call - overuse...

You might want to wait until post cycle buddy - unless you've been monitoring your BP closely.

The Epi should be leaning you out sufficiently - no need to overtax the CNS.

That sounds more like the beast is unhinging its chains. You'll build up to 3x daily eventually. Sick workouts though, you were burning through your whole stock of energy.
 
No. The E - C and A work together, so you want to use all three, the Y is just an extra kicker.
Hey bro. Get a load of my new kicker I've got planned when I start PCT. My usual ECA at 30/200/ and one 325 mg. aspirin. Now on top of this I will stack some 1,3-dimethylamylamine, Yohimbine HCL, and some Beta-Alanine! I should be spun as a mudda-phukker!! :dance::blink::eek:

:goodpost: And damn good advice! BP usually goes up for most peole when using a designer steroid (Epi). Don't want to compound this problem by adding stims to the mix! Silver, wait until PCT. You'll like the extra "help" the ECA provides to your sessions. :head:

Honestly dude... Don't trip. If you look back at your pictures from a year ago - you were a total mess. What you've done in this past year is nothing short of incredible.

TLake - just curious, did you ever put together a final summary of your HDrol experiece? Meaning, Pre cycle supps, on cycle supps, issues you faced (like pumps) and how you addressed them, and PCT?

I know this may sound like a huge pain in the ass, but having it in one place, I think would make it easy for all to tweak and also would be awesome learning tool for new guys.

Your limited use makes you the perfect guy to do it. Just a thought. You could prob save a lot of boneheads from themselves.

BTW - how is your knee?

Dude, you are doing great. Your transformation is happening before our very eyes. Don't slow down for anything. You have to realize that TL, TG, and myself have been doing this for YEARS now. It takes time and dedication... don't worry, It'll come.

ECA is nasty... My workouts the past two days have just been retarded. I can hardly walk - and my tits feel like they are about to fall off. Can't beat that!

Yea dude, I've just been working 12-14 hour days. If I get on AM, I'll waste an hour or two and I just can't budget the time. It's kinda like... work out, or post about working out... and I think the point is to be at the gym more than talking about it on here. I'll be back regularly soon... just wait for my triumphant return.

I've decided to sit down here and throw down my final review of Competitive Edge Labs H-Drol.

Dosing Scheme
I started off with 50mg the first three days, ramped to 75mg for 9 days, then 150mg for the remaining 3 weeks and 3 days.

Support Supplements
As anticipated, I used cycle support in the morning and night. The flavor is rough, but the protection it provides is well worth the mouthfull of ass twice daily. I preloaded Hawthorne Berry and Milk Thistle - 2 caps of each morning and night. DHEA was brought in to combat lethargy - but I wasn't too strict on taking the caps - may try to incorporate into my next cycle.

PCT
As described in first post. Nolva to start (20/20/10/10)... Works like a charm - just make sure to drink plenty of water. Will give you some nasty cotton mouth and dark urine if you decide not to. DTHC for test rebound - awesome supplement... kept strength sky-high throughout PCT with no noticable drop off when the bottle ran out. Lean XTreme at day 14 (will likely leave out in the future...) and 6-oxo (-/-/300/200/100). Lost a good amount of water weight in the initial week of PCT which was great.

Sides
Very slight back acne - Who cares
Oily forehead / nose - Who cares
Back and Shoulder pumps - eat some Taurine
Lethargy - Eat more carbs!
Balls - definitely felt tighter... however was never to the point of not being able to 'raise up'... Sometimes climax would take quite a bit longer...

Strength
Not immediate. Strength increases were apparent around day 9 - and continued to improve until the end of the 4th week.

Growth
Also not immediate - not that I expected them to be. Near day 20 though, growth was fast and explosive. I put on about 8 pounds from the end of week three to the end of week 4. I'm going to directly attribute 10 pounds of lean muscle to this cycle - with an overall weight gain of 16 pounds (going to estimate 4 water / 2 fat)...

Mentality
Hard to assess... I'm always very motovated and driven at the gym. Let's just say it didn't hurt it - even with the lethargy. The gym made me salivate.

Composition
Gained Muscle, Slight increase in BF (by weight - not %), pretty harsh water retention (I attribute to increased carb intake)...

Diet
Pretty clean - though I'd have a stack of pancakes on the weekend on occasion after a hard workout... Very little sugar - tons of proteins - tons of clean carbs. Main Protein components were Chicken / Whey / Casein / Turkey / Beef ... Carbs from CytoGainer / oatmeal / wheat bread / wheat wraps / whole wheat pasta... Fats from Nuts / Olive Oil / Fish Caps / Peanut Butter... Did not eat a crazy amount of vegetables, but took some supplements which are essentially concentrated green vegetables in pill form and chlorophyl. If the main goal of your H-Drol run is a recomp - I would advise keeping the carbs and calories near maitenence for the first 14 days or so, then aggressively ramp up the calories in the third week. I did NOT have a reduction in body fat on this product (didn't matter much to me) party because I ate so damn much food. I feel like much of the mud I put on could have been avoided with a calorie ramp. That being said, I stayed reasonably lean - and I never have much of a problem with losing bodyfat after a bulk.

What have you guys seen/heard about H Drol vs. MDrol in terms of effects, sides, etc?

I have read a number of logs of each and have not seen much in the way of clear differentiators.

Curious.

M-Drol
  • Kicks in faster than H-Drol
  • Bigger increases in strength
  • Requires more carbs
  • Much stronger - More weight in a shorter cycle
  • More lethargy / acne type sides
  • More toxic

This is kind of what I am gathering from all I am reading (we are prob reading the same stuff). Interested to see how you respond to it and your impressions of one versus the other afterwards.

Nice thing is you approach this after doing all your research versus the jagoffs who dont have PCT laid out etc.

What do you mean by it needing more carbs? You need more fuel on this compound as opposed to say H-drol?

Mdrol is a compound that thrives on carbs, where as if you carb'd up real heavy on Phera, you would bloat. Plus there is the issue of lethargy that really comes into play with Mdrol, and carbs are energy, so Mdrol+ Lots o' Carbs= Big gains in a short time... shuts you down like a mofo though...
