Classy and competition ready!

I was considering that! But he won't eat anything healthy!
:toofunny: Then how come he looks so fit?? What kind of supps are you guys formulating over there these days??!!!

Just tell him it's beer batter talapia......;)

:bb3:
Why in the hell does that sound good all of a sudden?? Could be this brutal freakin' diet I'm on. Hell, a bowl of lard with a hair in it sounds good right now!! :food::lol:

Well Miss Nat is going to be out on Thur-Fri so today we had chest/back day.

We started with 4 sets of chest press machine outside handles for 15 reps supersetted with 15 push ups. I struggled with these as they tore my shoulder up. The Osteo sport is helping but it takes time.

We then did 4 sets of incline belly down dumbell pulls for 15 reps then flipped over and did 15 presses.

Then we did a triple sets of low rows at 80lbs for 15 then did bent over dumbell rows 40lbs per arm for 10 per arm and then did 15 dumbell flyes. Did our 4 sets here.

Then we did 4 sets of dumbell pullthroughs for 15 reps supersetted with bent over rows to the chin for 15 reps.

Then we did overhead dumbell extesions for 15 reps superseted with straight bar lat presses on the cable machine for 15 reps and 4 sets.

I struggled with this day. The diet with minimal carbs is weakening me horribly. I fight to get it all done while my body says screw you woman! But she growls and tells me to get over it and i get it done.

I did a brief 10 min of cardio. She did watch me work and told me I was coming out quicker than expected in the cutting dept! So that helped to make the dieting better.

hey christine i dont know why this hasnt been updating for me....glad to know the osteo-sport is helping. hopefully you make a full recovery and kick some ass...looking detailed as always!

Had arm day today.

Started with incline kickbacks laying on the belly for 15 reps these were supersetted with 30 mountain climbers for 4 sets.

Then we did 15 hammer curls with 20 tricep bench dips for 4 sets.

Then we did 10 per arm of pronated curls triple setted with 60lb cable curls for 10 and 6 tricep pushups for 4 sets.

Then we did overhead skull crushers for 15 with tri pushdowns for 10 for 4 sets.

Did 6 sets of 6 barbell curls at 60lbs no rest.

Then we did 3 sets of reverse grip, thumb over curls with the bar for 15 reps 35lbs.

Might have done a few things I forgot about:think:
Today is Wed so its the day I'm at the gym from 6-8:45pm . So after training I did 20 min of tanning.

30 min of 15 incline cardio
20 min of bike

Then I hit some broomstick twists with dragon flags for 10 min.

triple triple setted? was that a typo or is that something like double secret probation? either way, intense day for arms.

LOL typo. It was a triple set performed 4 times ;)
I thought that was where she stood behind you and triple-dog dared you to lift it.

I love the self-motivational speech here crader! I talk smack to myself all the time!! Through the whole workout!! I'm constantly saying, "Come on old man!! Prove to 'em that you're still worth a damn!! Get it Thunder!! That sh*t's light dude"!! It's good I work out in the seclusion of home now. I only freak-out my dog these days!! Bystanders in the gyms I've been in the past have always gotten a kick out of it though!!

I'm thinking the week of the O. That way I will be at my diet potential for time. nat wants me to get one of those freaky airbrush tans. I'm not sure about that.
Well, here in my new avatar is what a week of using Jergens Natural Glow lotion will do for you. Not sure I can really recommend it. It looks better than my naturally pasty white skin though.

Did leg day with Matt yesterday.

Hit the presses first with stationary lunges in between sets.
Warmed up to test the knee with 90x15,130x15,230x10
10 per leg on the lunges.

Then we hit extensions
50x15
60x15
80x10
90x10

Then we did some curls, which hurt my knee to the point of not getting it done if I went over 50lbs. So I did 4 sets at that weight and sighed at injuries.

We did the adducter and abducter machines no rest 15 reps at 70lbs.

Then hit calves and did 4 sets of
Used 2 45's to warm up and then did the next 3 sets at 180lbs for 15 reps.

Not bad for a day off. I'm not sore at all today which is good as Mon is leg day with Nat.

Today I believe I'll do cardio and shoulders/arms maybe with a bit of back.

Well I only had a limited time today to spend at the gym. So since I had trained all the parts earlier in the week I decided to do cardio. I'm holding a decent amount of muscle so I just want to bring the cuts in and lean out before the O.

I did 30 min of cardio.

I hate running the day after leg day. Get it done crader!

LOL You have no idea, I was so tired of being there. I forced myself to get it done. I need to do some over the weekend if I get time.

The diet is miserable, I'm hungry ALL day. Cravings are hitting hard. The guy that delivered my food today for Nat put in homeade chocolate chip cookies for the kids. He called and told me she mentioned that I had kids to pick up from school and he had made cookies for his kids so he threw them in. He did not want me to think she added cookies in for me;)

I had them eat them all the minute they walked in so I would not have to look at them:(

just tell your self the cookies were to help replenish your glycogen levels.
and damn that delivery guy......trying to sabotage your diet! :aargh:

Don't make yourself miserable over this thing girl. Find something that you really like to eat, that is healthy, and use it like a crutch!! Parfaits get me through my dieting. You know...the yogurt, blueberries, and strawberries all mixed up with granola crumbs on top of it. I ate one at least 4 times a week when I was low-carbing a while back. I still do. I even have a little chunk of milk chocolate ever once in a while. You have to give yourself small treats along the way, so you don't totally lose it one day and completely wreck a whole bag of cookies with a half a gallon of ice cream too!! You now what I'm saying. You could have ate 1 of those cookies and been fine. You don't have to be fanatical about dieting. I swear my diet is not that strict, and I've gotten in pretty decent shape lately. Ease up once in a while. Bend, so you don't break! You can do this!!

I'm hoping to do it! With 3 kids eating in front of me and the need to take them out to eat keeps me feeling bad about myself. I'm hoping to lose more and tighten up but only 3 weeks to go:( I wish I had been able to start the diet 8 weeks out but it didn't work that way. I could not get the food before then. So it has me feeling defeated.

C, as long as you keep pushing along you shouldnt feel defeated. Keep putting in the effort and the results have a way of coming along with it.

Leg day:

I find it really odd that a mainly plyo day can kill me while a heavy weight day feels fine.

I left the gym with legs shaky. I took 1 ephedra, 3 HypX, and 2 DCP before I left today.

We started with 10 per leg on alternating lunges for 2 sets. Then we did 2 sets of 10per leg backwards lunges. Straight into a front lunge and a bacl lunge on the right side for 10 reps then the same for the left side for 10 reps @ 3 sets.

Then lucky us we did a triple set of single legged squats 10 per side, 10 leg extensions at 70lbs, 10 leg curls at 70lbs. We did 4 sets here. (I've upped my fish oil and am using the Osteo Sport and the knee is getting better slowly)

Then we did 3 sets of 50 stripper squats ( Can't get sexier than that!)

Then we did 3 sets of a jumping lunge, right leg and left leg into a pop squat as a single rep. We did 10 reps, 3 sets!

Then I did 4 sets of 20 rep 90lb calve raises.

I did some biking cardio at the office earlier as I knew it was leg day;)

I would much rather plough through a set of real heavy squats then do light-weight explosive plyo crap, anyday!! And I'll bet that doing 50 of those stripper pole squats in a row aren't nearly as funny as they sound!!

Shoulder day

Today was rough as there was not much rest time.

We started with 20lb overhead presses 10 per side while holding on to the rack and leaning out to keep strict form. We did 10 per side for 4 sets.

Then we did 10 per arm of side raises supersetted with 10 full circle raises over the head for 4 sets.

Then we did 10 upright raises into a press and back down on the weight on the floor into a pop squat and back up and at it again. We did 4 sets here.

Then we did 20 upright rows supersetted with 6 behind the head machine presses. These hurt my shoulder terribly.

We did 3 sets of 20 bent over 1/4 pulses and hit a few more things and then I went home and walked the Mastiff for 45 min using interval jogs most of the way.

Then we did 20 upright rows supersetted with 6 behind the head machine presses. These hurt my shoulder terribly.
I have removed both of these movements from my routine over the years. All behind the head movements like lat pulldowns behind the head and behind the neck presses hurt my left rotator like nothing happening. And I just recently dropped all upright rows as well for the same reason. If a move just completely causes pain, there must be a reason for it. It's not structurally appropriate for you maybe. That's the way I feel. There's lots of other movements that target the same muscles.

We had a rockin chest day today with leg shaping thrown in for fun.

I did 10 min of warm up stationary bike cardio.

We started with 10 incline bench flyes supersetted with 20 pop squats for 4 sets.

Then we put the dumbells together and did 15 presses supersetted with 20 side to side jumping lunges for 4 sets.

Then we did 15 overhead extensions on the flat bench laying down supersetted with 10 dumbell deadlifts.

Then we did 15 reps on the pec dec supersetted with walking lunges from one end of the gym to the other for 4 sets.

Then we did wide grip bench for 15 reps supersetted with 15 per leg alternating step ups for 4 sets.

Then we hit the machine press for 15 reps, 4 sets and that was all we did!

I then did 25 min of cardio uphill 15 incline with sprints. Keeping in mind that I took 2 ephedra before training. I was sweating bullets!

Nat decided to switch my diet, I'm not sure what it will be yet but it gives me two weeks on something different.

Nice workout.

When you sweat bullets, are they like muzzle-loader bullets, where it's simply just a lead ball or do they have a shell casing? I think the shell-cased bullets would be much cooler to sweat out.

I did back yesterday , let me see if I can remember what I did.

I kow we started with dumbells on our stomach. We did 5 with palms facing back (rows) 5 with palms facing the bench, 5 with palms facing the front ( this one was hardest as my palms wanted to twist) Did 4 sets.

We did cable lat pulldowns x 10 with reverse grip pulldowns for 6 reps for 4 sets.

We did between the legs cable pullups x 10 for 4 sets. We did something with these but I can't remember what.

We did reverse grip low rows x 15 with 20 burpee type things. for 4 sets.

We did hyperextensions for 15 with 20 crunches, for 4 sets.

I can't remember what else we did.

We had a rough arm day today , I did some cardio. Then I went out with my family for dinner for my b-day at Joes Crab shack.

I stayed on diet so I was proud of myself!

If you need help with treatment let me know. I'm not a doctor but I watch House on TV!

And I've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.
