How would i hit up the bottom for the most cut, as you can see i have developed greatly in the past 2 months for width, I like deadlifts, but they obviously dont cut me up in the same sense :-/ Thanks.

Theres really no exercise that will "cut you up" .. Its more of a diet thing, low bf etc etc. Also males are more prone to carrying fat on there lower back.

well judging by your sig, just pop some pills and powder i guess bro....dont be a douche. It IS at least 90% Deit and training, 10% knowledge, and 100% dedication.
You need to lose BF to get a V taper and having big lats helps the look 2. Work on that and then cut.
You dont lift for width. You should never focus on one dimension, muscles are 3D. Back needs to get hit from every angle or you wont grow at all.

Lift, eat clean, and lift. I would recomend a recomp style setup. Carbs early, cardio 3 times a week, moderate reps, focus on compound movements.
Also, if you want a lean waist drop the deads. It worked for me and 3 others have mentioned it.

Goodluck and look aorund theres lots to learn here.

Really no deds :-o and ya i was just wondering if there was any special exercise, And i know diet is 100% of it, Im on a very strict diet i personal train, but i like to also get feedback from you guys as well :)

Thanks pimpn.

If you were on a very strict diet you would already be cut up. quit lying to yourself.

And as mentioned if you want the v-taper stop doing deadlift. It will make your abs and back thickness great but it will also make you have a very wide waist. I can tell you've been doing deadlift because you have big erectors (relatively speaking) but not much else. Stop doing deads and start doing pullups.

I do around 30-40 pullups a workout as well as deads :-/ o well, and im trying to bulk up right now, not cut 100% i was just asking for simple opinions. Thanks

when you hit a lat spread hit ti like this. Hands could even be a bit higher. Elbows trying to go forward.
Try some DB rows
Shrugs
Seated cable rows
hyperextensions, weightless.

EDIT: My hards are to far in front even. They shoul be on the side/front.

Matt-

I'm not exactly sure what you are planning long-term, but as far as cutting out deadlifts. I can understand going lighter on them and doing them less frequently, however, I wouldn't completely get rid of them. Between your legs and upperbody, the only thing in between is your lower back and abs.

Once you get to the point where you have a substantial amount of mass on your upperbody, you'll get to the point where lower back pain will be an issue due to weaker back muscles. You can get away with it in the beginning, but once you pack on some serious muscle (which I assume you are planning on), it might be problematic.

Get comfortable with regular pull ups first. No matter how long it takes. Then slowly start adding weight via dip belt and adding a few pounds here or there.

Don't be like me and go from just regular pull ups to slapping on a 45lb plate and trying to do it. Once again my ego got the best of me (there wasn't even a girl watching) and now my shoulder is slightly aching.

If you are higher than 10-11% BF, go with higher repetitions, more exercises, and more sets, but lighter on the weight. More volume if you will, which will help the 'cutting process'.

Once you get low enough in bodyfat (i.e. 10-11% BF) then lift heavy 3 times a week only.

You said your diet is in check so I assume it is.

That should be everything that you need.

Thanks, bro and ya im looking to size up, and mostly focusing on 5x5's and alot of power, I know its not the best way to hit up sizing up, but its primarily back + legs, training more as an Explosive lifter (new type) :P and the other muscles when they dont feel sore, all depending on my body, and ya lol i wouldnt just jump into 45lb pull ups, that'd be crazy haha all about those baby steps,

but the reason i asked about the lower back is always just wondered how people got that part, right now im at about 10.5% bf because of the factor i see the starting of my abs and the V line is very viewable. Yet im not trying to be cut up at the moment because im bulking till dec for a show, but doing the LEAN bulk, unlike most who dirty bulk, i personally believe thats pointless, then you look like a beer belly drunk haha.

But thanks tho for the feedback, and i plan to start doing the weighted pullups very shortly and focus on higher reps on the deadlifts, because i got up to 450x10 and my back was still the same ha, goes to show ya they werent shrinking my waist :P

For me (and most men in general) have a tendency to gain fat first in the love handles and it is the last place to lose it as well. As you continue to keep cutting down weight, the fat around that area will start to disappear. You can toss in Napalm for spot reductions if you are very lean and still having difficulty losing weight there.

Some people have a chronic struggle with removing the last amount of weight in their love handles, from what I've noticed, it stems more from being overweight for too long, not because of temporary bulking phases.

I wouldn't worry about it right now since you are bulking, but since it seems to be problematic (you are saying), you should use a fat burner to also help try and alleviate the problem (if you aren't using one).

whoa whoa whoa....how tall are you? BF? Weight? 450 for 10 on deads? No offense but for real? I mean i know size doesnt = power all the time but that means you max near 600?
Video or something please!

The reason i ask is casue last time i went i got 405x2 a few months back. I dont think i have alot of muscle but my back is def my strongest point.

EDIT: i just saw the stats, 5'11" 167....

It was last summer, i was doing both construction and working out and im 5'11 and i weighed in at 185-187, and was on lipo-6 might have helped more because of the caffeine. And yes i was being real i used to start at 45x's and stack up to 5 45xs on each side lol. i was nuts.

I was like this last summer

The 2nd picture is when i was maxing on those deadlifts, no straps, no chalk no nothing. Not even a real clean diet, mostly Oatmeal + Protein lol, I didnt eat veggies/fruits. No creatine either, just lipo-6 was the only thing i was on and a multi:aargh: in about 40 days

I don't really notice anything different in those 2 pics. The two different poses makes it kinda hard to make out any change, for me anyway. I did notice you lost the cap though :D
