Classy and competition ready!

I feel the same way sometimes. I know that muscle weighs more but you just get so used to the scale as an indicator of weight loss. And usually its because I'm feeling guilty over a missed cardio or not so good diet and then I look for a reason to punish myself. So the scale is it!

I also get to see Natalie every time I hit the gym and she has very little fat on her anywhere!

Feel guilty about it. Feel really bad about it. Remember how you feel. The next time you feel bogged out, and don't really want to work out or eat right, remember this feeling. It'll be that li'l kick in the ass you were missing last time.
 
Shoulder day was rough. Apparently two Neo before workout is too many for me. My pump was massive and painful.

We did pronated shoulder raises and then did 100 twists on the ab board for 4 sets.

We did push ups for 6 reps on the ab board and then did lateral raises for 15 reps. for 4 sets

We did 30 laying pulses on the bench and 30 shrugs with 25lbs for 4 sets. We did a ton of other work. Natalie actually had me back off on some of the stuff because of the pump and she said I'm starting to over develop:)
 
Chest day
Chest was very intense today. I was the only one she was training so we hit it harder than I wanted!

I started with 20 min of cardio. Then we hit decline bench. I did a warm up of the bar for 15 reps. Then 65lbs for 10 reps and then 3 sets of 85lbs x 10.

We then did overhead extensions with a 35lb barbell for 15 and supersetted it with 6 push ups on two medicine balls. We did 5 sets of this also.

Then we did chest presses at 60lbs x 10 supersetted with pec dec for 15 reps . We did 4 sets of this.

We did a few other things and then went to the odd one that gave me the biggest pump I've had at chest.

She had me face the pec dec and put one foot on the seat and lean back with chest out and grab the handles facing down and pulse them for 15 reps. I could really feel this because you had to stay tight the whole time to hold the handles in close enough to pulse them. We did 5 sets of this! I'm sore already:)

How has your competition diet been going? Or did you chicken out/realize it was ridiculous?

Her trainer wants her up a few lbs before she cuts. So we are starting a bit later. She is going to do the show and at the end she is going to hook me up with the photographer she used for the website and I might do some pics!

I went au natural today as I'm just not feeling well. So I kicked out all the supps.

We started out with 4 sets of 15 bent over rows. Then we did sumo deads x 15 for 4 sets. 85lbs.

We did some individual barbell work looked like a bent over flye only we started it at our knees and went up shoulder high and did a back squeeze. We did 4 sets of 20 and supersetted then with 15 dragon flyes.

Then we did wide grip pulldowns x 15 at 70lbs and then did rows at 100lbs x 6 we did 4 sets of these.

A couple other things and then we finished off with the row machine and we did a each set with 5 on the low handle, 5 on the top handle and 5 with a reverse grip on the top handle. We did 4 sets of these. I did a few broomstick twists also.

I just took a second look at the pics.Take note of everyone else........It's just sad.

I don't see how you do it crader.I can't be around drunks if I'm not drunk myself.Did the band suck?
 
LOL she invited me out to Cheeseburger in paradise with her...;) I'm just looking to hold where I'm at until she decides to hit the diet.

I'm looking to enjoy it while I can.

Wow.......Lookin' lean and mean my Rpn sista! Very nice work C! Your hard work and dedication is most certainly paying off! We are going to be the "Swole" booth at the olympia this year haha! :D :cheers:

Arm day...well its been to many hours to remember what I did...lolol.

We did do arms though! Then I took the kids to see Ironman! Pretty good movie.

It finally getting warm here and time for me to kick it up. I'm hoping to combat my lethargy with waking up earlier and getting moving. The RPM was breaking me out so I'm taking a break from it. I have leaned out nicely on it so I will try to add it in later. Maybe off cycle. I think that all the hormonal / test boosting things was just to much. My naseau and headaches are a little better. So it seems I just pushed beyond what the body was willing to do.

I'm either going to jog in the morning or mountain bike. My abs are 95% there.

Then we did zig zag lunges from one side of the gym to the other and ran backwars all the way back, as soon as we got back we had to do it again. We did 2 sets of these.

Then it was 4 sets at 30lbs for 20 reps of leg extensions.

I still have calves to do because I ran out of time!

I took one Neo before shoulder day. I had tons of energy. Did all my routines easily. I also did a super set of 100 broomstick twists with 30 crunches for 4 sets. Then I did 20 min of cardio . I kicked ass today. I think it was the new gym outfit;)
