That's an interesting list. I like all of them except maybe Neil Diamond, but haven't given him much of a chance. Gotta love some Lionel Richie. The music nowadays blows, I feel bad for these youngsters.

Soul - The Temptations (not a band, but the BEST damn soul group EVER)

Funk - Rick James and The Stone City Band & James Brown (with ALL of his groups)

Why's that about KISS? I've only seen them 50 or 60 times over the last 35 years and they ROCK!

The Stones are not the BEST band, but their early stuff is REALLY good. Granted, it's be 20 years since they made a really GOOD album...

I don't know, never seen any real talent or really high quality music out of Kiss. I'm sure they do a great live show though. I used to think the Stones were just average and over the past couple years have started enjoying their stuff, but I still think they are a little over rated. To each their own though, it's not like you said The Jonas Brothers or something.

I well, for as long as -I- can remember, it's literally been all about 'the business that is KISS' and gene simmons plastering his chubby
face on anything he can think of. I can't think of any time I can remember KISS members actually concentrating on, or talking about
music, it's always 'look how our fans dote on us, we're the best, theatrics this, pyrotechnics that, merchandising, public appearnces.'
