3-AD: Putting "thesinner" back in "synergy"

We should train together some time. We have a similar training regimine. Oh yeah and those videos..you never put them up soooooo I'm supposed to come down there and take the imfamous gym videos.

Ouch!! Its amazing how hard that kind of training really is. Especially when your arms are so shakey you can't hold yourself up:)
 
Measurements from earlier this morning.

Waist: 31 1/2"
Arms: 15 3/4"
Chest: 45 1/2"

So......... I put on like a whole inch around my chest and back.

I had to do a li'l traveling this weekend and was on the go a lot. Seems I lost a few lbs, although I'm still up with a weight of 186lbs. I'm assuming it's some water/glycogen weight, that'll be back (and then some) by the end of the week.
 
I had a zit on my shoulder yesterday. Lol. That's pretty much been it. This stuff has been very mild in the side effects department.

Also does your gyms donkey calf raise go up higher than 400 or do you have to add stuff to it? Mine only goes up to 400 and its annoying.
 
Oh mines a stack (although for convenience that is plus.) The Seated and like L calf press is plate loaded though.

Science Term of the Day: Space Time - Space Time is the theoretical correlation of a batch reaction to a reaction occuring a flow system. Given in units of time, it shows the amount of time two reactants are allowed to react with each other before exiting the reactor.
 
Obscure question. But I'll allow it. I'm probably gonna try going to work for processes somewhere. Hopefully in the oil or pharmaceuticals industries.

Think of it like trying to pick up chicks at the bar. You have until a half hour after last call to get her to wanna come home with you. You + Female --> Going home and "playing scrabble" is the "desired reaction". Depending on what time you show up and what time last call is at, will make a difference as to whether or not said reaction will occur.

enough of that! So how do think a 3AD/prop stack would be for a nice little pre summer recomp? Probably better of to stack with a methyl like epi or H-drol eh?

btw I tried doing some dragon flags, I surprised myself and managed 5 with not completely horrifying form. A little shaky + sloppy, but not as bad as I expected.
 
The dragon flags are awesome for abs, I was sore for 3 days after doing them on an incline bench.

Science term of the day: Fugacity - A measure of chemical potential expressed in units of pressure, fugacity shows the likelihood of a component to stay in it's current physical state. The fugacity of atmospheric Nitrogen at sea level is 800 kPa. Fugacity is stupid.

Science term of the day: Entropy - This is my absolute favorite term. I could write a book on the concepts and how they apply, so I'll just go over the basics. Measured in units of energy per temperature, entropy is a measurement of "randomness". The concept is based from the second law of thermodynamics (law of entropy), which stated "Heat always travels from a hot source to a colder source." What's actually happening is the heat transfer is happening randomly, but since one source is has more heat to transfer than the other, the heat transfer from the cold source is negated by the transfer from the hot source. Eventually, the two sources will reach an equilibrium of the same temperature. At this point, they are both at their maximum entropy state.
 
Looks like we have a physics fan here. I just finished up A Brief History of Time by Hawking and just started The Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene. You familiar with either of those books?

They're awesome stuff. They really tear up the traps well, too, since they offer a fuller range of motion as compared to deads or shrugs.

I was joking around with Macedaddy the other week, and we thought it would be funny if instead of an "inspirational pic of the day" or "song of the day", I posted a science term of the day. I think you guys should try using them the next time your out at the bar or something. People will think you're smart.....but we'll all know the truth ;)

Had to put good ol' entropy out there, since a lot of these other terms/concepts are bridged out of it (i.e. space time). I figured I'd better get you guys in the mindset on how entropy works.
 
Yea I am really digging these terms (love physics and science concepts/theories pertaining to it.) Entropy is one of my favorites as well (In Hawking's book he has some pretty cool writings/info on it)

Science term of the day: Le Chatelier's Principle (La Shat-Tel-E-Ay's) - This is pretty much the concepts of entropy being applied to chemical reactions. While Reactants A and B combine to make C, C is also decaying back into A and B. The reaction typically favors the formation of products. Le Chatelier's Principle in it's simplest form is simply that if you add more products to a system when it's at max entropy (equilibrium) you will find it will increase the amount of reactants as well. Using Le Chatelier's principle we see that exposing fire (products of fire are carbon dioxide, water, and heat) to water will help put the fire out, and (believe it or not) exposing it to coldness will actually speed up the reaction. ;)

Me with 135lbs on a dipping belt. The +1 is for a rest pause. 7 continuous reps to positive failure, a 10-15 second break, 1 more rep.
