Another thing that perplexes(sp.) me is the threads about "Staple" supplements. What the phuck does that mean?. A supplement can't be a "Staple"!!!....Meat is a staple!. Chicken is a staple!.

I agree, but I believe their definition of a staple are supplements they do not go without and are always on, like Fish Oil, BCAA, Leucine...etc Staples are distinguished to be set apart from the introduction of new supplements, so any new improvements are meant to be relegated to the effects of the new supps, not from the long term, maintained effects of the staples.

I don't know if you already knew that and were just being sarcastic, I'll feel like a real @$$hole if that was the case

That's pretty insane. I had gotten nearly half that bad at one point, and realized I was being stupid. Not saying that's necessarily stupid, if it works for him, cool, but not even half that amount of supps was interfering with more important issues pertaining to weight training for me, mainly eating and training.

Yea once you get everything down its clock work but before that it def becomes a hassle, and if you dont have the organizational skills...forget about it!

It means you're more of a random stalker.

And I never really noticed he looks like Ben Stein until now. Anyway, I honestly didn't create this to 'bash' anybody. I think we can all take a lesson to 'shut the **** up' and listen. My little brother's friend bought a bottle of AP recently, has never worked out, yet he's asking me about when he can and cannot take it with 4 different supplements. I asked him "Have you squatted yet?", he replies "No". "How about deadlift?", of course "No." So don't squat, don't DL, don't have a steady diet, yet you have a supplement 'protocol'..Beat it.
This was Easy's grandson I'm guessing. Hoe, I'm killin myself out here. Sorry Easy, it's just so easy:thumbsup: BTW Easy, you've probably made much better gains than me in the last year, just jokes.

Yeah, I'm not organized enough to keep up with all that. Besides I'm more into strength, and I think supplementing matters less when it comes to strength, but I could be wrong.

depends what supp your talking about..., but you dont have to think about the whole, bulk, cut recomp bs therefore you wouldn't have to worry as much about your fatloss supp ect..

Yes I understand what they mean but it is just not right. "Supplement" is completly different than "Staple". So saying something like "Supplement Staple" would be an Oxymoron.

lol yea they obviously contradict one another :toofunny:

Sporto is a good guy, and is in the situation where a single striation is the difference between winning and losing.

Now, when people who look like my old man take that many, that's an issue.

Absolutely, in technicallity I agree, but I think writing staple gets the point across and I think its meant to sound more intelligle to just write "staples" rather then "stuff I've been on since like forever." I agree that tehcnically supplement staple can be seen as an oxymoron, but staple entails both neccessity and consistency. Like food, but you wouldn't call chicken a staple in your diet unless you eat it EVERY, SINGLE DAY, so I could see the justification of calling a supplement a staple if you take it EVERY, SINGLE DAY, because it entails consistency (but definitely not neccessity).

I like what Mullet had to say and I agree with it, but the tone of this thread seems to have taken a real negative conotation toward supplements in general and people who take them (and I know the premise of the slander is geared toward people who take it in excess without the presence of proper diet and training experience), but I don't see the need of getting upset at people who use the word staple, and making this a witch hunt for loggers who aren't gramatically accurate. I think it gets the point across in a clear and concise way.

I agree with everything that's been written, don't get me wrong, but if I didn't know better, it feels like we're discouraging vehicles at a car lot.

I tried to rep you Mullet, but I must have repped you somewhat recently, because apparently I need to spread some around.

Word. If I was a competitive BBer, then I would be just as meticulous (especially since he is sponsored). Hell, my stack when I am prepping for a fight is pretty large, too, but it is more for recovery than gaining LBM.

Yeah, I don't disagree with supplements at all. There is a vast myriad of benefits other than those intended from many of these herbs. However, I think it's principally the same as early A.A.S. use. When an individual who is not ready for A.A.S., presents a cycle plan he is usually blasted and/or derailed from his/her plan for two principle reasons; a) health concerns b) limiting gains in the future.

Well, overuse/early use of supplements is on the same principle and yet we endorse it. If you're 30 some % BF, you probably shouldn't be using anything else than a solid fat burner. My reasoning is this:

If you justify heavy supplement use and dependence when you're that out-of-shape, what happens when you begin to approach your goal?

can anyone tell me how much dianabol i have to take to get jacked WITHOUT lifting weights? i really dont like working out, but i do enjoy television and fast food. thanks!

Hey buddy, if I was at your fitness level when I was 15 I would have been excited. You should be giving me advice.

I could have sworn I responded to this post last night. Anway, you should take a look at my first 5 threads that I posted here. I was asking about Jungle Warefare and BAM and stacking like 6 products. I've come a long way, and I am happy that I am on the right track from all the great information that I've read here on AM.

But thanks Mullet. I appreciate your encouragement and support and all the kind words that I have been receving latley. Its really given me some great motivation to lift and stay dedicated.

As you can see, I've got a ways to go...

You wanna be Rodja?

If people didn't use supplements as an 'easy way out' we'd most likely see a huge decline in sales. People with those laundry list supplements+poor training+poor diet still are paying customers ! lol.

i use supplements as a motivating tool. i guess the placebo effect.

if i'm on XYZ supplements, i will try to work harder, so as to take advantage of them and their effects.

Of course, but that's not something I personally tailor too. 95% of the time, unless I am already aware, I ask people on the forum what their diet is like.

If they tell me they are eating cheeseburgers, don't know what a Pre-Workout meal is, and couldn't give me an honest answer on their training, I tell them not to take our products until they do.

Mullet what happened to your face?!

lol, It's an old picture. I was in a car accident in the summer.

EDIT:

I just think it's a cool picture.

Yeah dude, if I walked in the gym and saw someone lifting while bleeding...yeah, they'd win.

Seems Mullet is still raging well after his near fatal accident :) The more things change the more they stay the same :)

I guess he just didn't find the preying mantis joke funny unlike that killer in his sig.
That is a killer, Chappelle will probably add something similar to his next season, should their be one. Hiroshima'ing is a bit of an honor, and enjoying/telling that joke is clearly not worthy. I sweat everybody, no hard feelings.

This fag has some dried up blood on his face and thinks he's fvcking Rambo:twisted:

Nah, I was being serious. An ankle boo-boo is serious ****, most definitely enough to de-rail one's training. I mean, you must have been in the hospital for at least 6....hours, maybe more.

Yeah, the hospital stay is what de-railed my training. It had nothing to do with me not being able to walk. Maybe if I had some pretentious bullsh*t to lean on it would've made my recovery easier. I hope you know I love you, little guy:twisted:

No, your lack of will, complete lack of toughness and easy ability to get side-tracked did. Though considering none of us have ever seen you and/or lift anything, maybe you weren't training at all?

Way to fall back, you need something new. When you were all over my jock wondering if I had juiced for our DL contest, doesn't resonate, know what I mean?

You act as if you do bring new sh*t, negro please, same ol bullsh*t. I do think you have a good point with the lack of toughness/will thing. I'll have to address that, thanks. All over your jock:o I simply asked if you were going to be doing any mild PH's, as I thought that might've been a possibility. I'll refrain from asking any questions in the future, since obviously any question will be perceived as being all over your tiny:twisted:jock:stick:

That PM isn't what I was talking about, it was about an avatar. You must have forgotten "You look a little big to be that weight".

And the pee-pee thing, c'mon.

Oh, gotcha. I didn't know that a compliment would be perceived as being on your jock. In that case, you are a trifling pretentious(one more time for good measure)puny twirp. No, seriously, you're really tough for not killing yourself after that semi hit you:trout:

And I thought I had a frail shoulder to lean on, haha.

And you're an unmotivated, insecure, non-existent (one more time for good measure), over-compensating ******* who couldn't game his way out of a wet paper bag.

No, seriously, I don't think you call me small to make yourself feel better.:stick:

Isn't having "game" actually ridiculously pathetic? Oh, I'm good at saying some bullsh*t to get a chick to like me, sad really, but yeah, I do suck at that pathetic sh*t. I must admit I feel like a million buck by calling you tiny. Thanks for that groundbreaking info in your sig, btw. Are we still friends, haha?

Well, it's not as sad as not having sex with a female in years. I may be wrong though, what do you think? And 'game' is not having to bullsh*t, but I'm sure you knew that.

I really can't tell if you guys are being serious or bull***ing each other??:blink::blink:

me either i have no idea at all......
