I was thinking the EXACT same thing concerning MetRx. When I started lifting in Jr High, I remember drinking MetRx protien packets with EAS creatine and wheat germ :head:

Was Twinlab mentioned also? I remember using their ephedra (was it in ripped fuel?) and having their andro in my hands about 10 times before chickening out... man, am I glad I didn't use it back then :run:

On the muscletech topic, I get free beta stuff from a buddy that works at a GNC and it works just fine for me. I treat it as I would bulk supplies but wouldn't pay a cent for it to be honest.

Somewhere earlier in the thread, someone asked if Aplodan would activate dormant muscle fibers in the penis...someone else replied that the penis contains no muscle fibers.

There are muscles along the pelvic floor commonly called the perineal muscles which do give some voluntary movement to our pride and joy... not to be confused with the perOneal muscles otherwise known as the fibular group (outside of the calf).

There are also muscles in the "sac" which resemble characteristics of traditional muscle but behave involuntarily in response to temperature regulation like smooth muscle.

The funny part of this survey is that 97% of the people who voted included myself have not tried any of these and def. haven't tried them all to say which is the worst.

The penile shaft DOES in fact have muscle tissue present:

[1] The Ischiocavernosis
[2] Bulbospongiosis (encases the more proximal part of 3 capora)

If you didn't have these muscles the only covering to the corpora would be the tunica albuginea and would likely render sex painful or limp (as they actually increase pressure on the erectile tissue to maintain the organ's "attention span" as well as impede venous drainage of the cavernous spaces allowing for turgidity of the organ) or minimally make your penis an accumulation site for residual urine and/or semen.

And so yeah, because I opted to respond to that out of all 8 pages of this thread...it does inherently say something about my thoughts on the products in question.

While muscles of the region are being discussed.... anyone know the name of the muscle used by buddhist monks to voluntary draw the testes up as a protective mechanism during combat? Is it the cremaster?
 
Great thread. Couldnt think of a better way to spend a saturday morning after a night of downtown drama! haha. I feel much better. I really appreciate the guy that writes the ads for muscle tech chiming in earlier with his gaining 600lbs in 9 hours while stacking every product MT makes. Im gunna try that...:clap2:
 
I think in order to get that kind of weight it involves mixing muscle-tech products with whole cream/lard.
 
Oh man, I researched the Sarm-x and I really liked MHP for a long time, but when I found out that they were marketing DHEA as a SARM I got pretty much three different types of torqued off. It jerks my chain that companies that are pretty reputable do things like that, and they just lose my respect as a consumer. lsakjf;ldjgishiehr. Sorry. Had a frustration fit.

Anabolic Xtreme is marketing DHEA as the next generation superdrol. Or wait.. it's just the foundation. Call it the 'Anabolic Driver'. lol

The active ingredient in Sarm-X is ferulic acid, which is a constituent of an extract of rice bran oil.

If its worth anything, ferulic acid (FRAC) is about 30 times more bioavailable than gamma-O.

In other words:

Whereas you are usually recited to ingest 300-900mg of Gamma-O, the equivalent dosage of FRAC would be in the range of roughly 10-60mg. Still, the sterol molecule to which the FRAC is bound probably promotes efficient transport.

If you are going to use it - I'd say use both, but this will likely be expensive and unless you have a gastrointestinal issue...you may be turned off by the "results."

DHEA converts to 5-androstanediol via 17-HSD, and then can become testosterone via 3-HSD. It can also flip flop, converting into 4-AD and then into either testosterone or estrone.

My guess is they added DHEA as an attempt to increase androgen concentrations. Since ferulic acid is going to block select AR's, this would be a one two punch for increasing the likelyhood of desired androgens activating desired receptors.

Gamma oryzanol is actually pretty cheap. If you know where to look, you can land yourself 50g of the bulk sterol for $6. I've never bothered to try or look into it deeper, seeing as it's been on the market for decades and only the same people keep using it.

WOW, I was one of the chumps who bought some Gamma-O for $65.00. Yeah did wonders for my wallet didn't do shimmy for me.

I have a really nice Gamma-O T-shirt (I like the color). I never where it, though, because it says Gamma-O: The Ultimate Testosterone Booster (or something to that regard) in 4" letters. Maybe if it said something like "If your mother finds a pair of plaid boxers in her minivan......I kinda need those back."

When it comes to worthless supps, unfortunately, its kind of a live and learn business. Some stuff works hella good, others are a waste of time and money, but the only way we can find out is from other peoples' experience, and from our own in a lot of instances.

No, I don't know why they would switch over, as the previous aromatase inhibitor was 5a reduced.

The new version uses 6-OXO. It is actually licenced through ErgoPharm, so it is legit 6-OXO being used in the new halodrol liquigels, which is why I referred to it by the trademark name vs. the chemical nomenclature. I don't know if 6-OXO has a conversion to estrogen or not, or why they even switched out the old aromatase inhibitor with 6-OXO instead.

The product is still lousy regardless. I'm still trying to figure out why DHEA was included in it.

Gaspari really missed the nail on this one.
 
Well the theory behind the product is basically the NHA stack + AA, which would haved kicked serious A$$ had gaspari dosed the product properly and with more servings per box. I bought it (2boxes) because I was under the impression it wasnt underdosed.

I think the only thing that was dosed properly in Halodrol Liquigels was the price....for Gaspari that is.
