carb cycling or tapering? I do morning workouts so tapering is easy. Its a pity, I like a little pre-workout complex carbs (25g)

I might do this:

My current diet is Adding lean musclemass without unwanted faT 400 P 350 C 80 F 3700 Calories. Using some aspects of Vince Gironda's ..for this case, whole raw fertile egg diet while doing this.

Then for cutting time use AA/ I like the idea of using AA withoiut having to take in all those raw egges

Salmonella FTW!

No. Cycling. You will High Carb days on specific training days.
Moderate on other training days, and low-carb on off days.

whats your definition of high + moderate? I almost never hit 100g of carbs in normal eating. 25g each pre/post, sometimes 50 post instead (all complex) and then trace from greens rest of day. non workout days usually 25g each 2 meals

they sell pastuerized eggs at my grocery store, so you can do safe raw eggs :)

It is all debatable. Some say a healthy individual (strong immune system) won't catch salmonella as easily.

Some say your body cannot utilize all the protein from a raw egg so it is a waste.

I actually might use 1 raw egg in a protein shake???? Kind of like how Orange Julius would throw in a raw egg in their Orange Julius'....

It is proally a lot higher than what you are use to, but these numbers are not set in stone.

However, Carb Cycling is proally the best way for lean mass gain, while losing fat. It is how extreme do you want the fat loss???

the metabolic advantage doesn't do carb cycling :) i guess I can try no pre workout carbs for a while, see how that goes.

I feel bloated. I take my pre w/o supps and then whey w/ water.

Then post w/o, I'll have a banana. raw oats, skim milk and whey.

So E...how did all your stuff go today? How was that BodPod thing?

it was ok. it put me at 27% bf, which i think is high. I had forgotten (or not been told) that I was not supposed to have eaten or drank in the prior 2 hours and tried to have an empty intestine, so I could easily have been 3-4lbs off (if not more) in food + water. The metabolic rate showed me at 2434 for RMR, and maintenance with working out of around 3100.

That does seem a little high. Yeah the food will throw it off. Was it done w/ calipers or electrical current? How does it work?

Invalid Link Removedthis was bodpod. its an air pressure based system, similar to the water displacement but using air instead. freaky little deal.

Oh yeah...you screwed that ALL up by eating! :D

How much did that little escape shuttle set ya back E?

OK J...carb cycling?

Do your total cals stay the same and macros change? or do you adjust total cals as well?

Just for example...

W/O days - 3000 cals 50c/40p/10f

Off days - 2700 cals 40/40/20

Help a brutha out, yo!

it was $90 with the oxygen usage RMR testing, or $45 a piece to do em separately. I'll know for next time to go in starving :)

Calories and Protein stay the same. You adjust the carb and fat ratio...

I will find the OG Article.

was a little more than that. not much tho. It was the "i'm not patient enough to deal with just 1lb lost a week" diet.
