Supplement Staples : What you run for long periods of time

Alright guys, Im sure this topic has come up several times but with all the new bulk powders, complexes, and supplements that come out at a head spinning rate, What products/compounds do you use for long periods of time.. Im talkin 6 months and beyond of continuous use.

What have you found to be most beneficial?
What have you found to be a waste?
What are you planning for the future?

I know a lot of these products are hard to gauge since they dont produce immediate results.. But any input would be much appreciated! :type:

I think only 2 supplements should be used continuously. That is protien and vitimins. Everything else really should be cycled to maximize the benefits.

Yes, thats exactly what im talking about... vitamin complexes, mineral complexes, seperate vitamins ie Vitamin C, Certain Aminos, herbs, green complexes, particular fats, etc etc etc.. Im obviously not talking about something like rpm etc

Your telling me you guys cycle your vitamin c  ... more for me then :)

Right now I am using:

-Multivitamins
-ZMA
-Pre-workout stims

I have not had a protein shake in 2 months so I have all this protein lying around. Right now I am not using creatine either. I'm pretty much running things on bare basics. Taking tons of pills/powders after awhile becomes very cumbersome.

there we go.. this is what im talkin about :) poseidon seems like its a great supplement.. great reviews on it from people, going to have to get my hands on some soon.

Keep it goin guys. Im always very interested on this topic, i think sometimes the basics get cut short with all these new flashy compounds coming along

Nilla, notice any major benefits from beta alanine? a friend of mine was looking into it, didnt know what to tell him cause i have never used it myself

try some bulk BA and CM. They go together very well in my opinion. I notice increased endurance (not just a little but a lot) while on those two.

does any one here run cla or ala for longer periods of time? any success with these?

suprised sesamin isnt used more often

multivitamins ... mainly powders going to get the miracle greens/reds soon
calcium a mhca/citrate mix with zinc and mag and d
cissus alphagpc/alcar

Poseidon
Cycle Support
BCAAs

i like the idea of the miracle greens and reds also... once i get some money in my pocket i might add those to the arsenal

maybe i should look into it to then... currently cutting and could always use a little extra boost in the cardio department

I am on a pretty heavy cut right now and I am gaining strength and endurance. I am using Incarnate by PAL, which is a combo of 20% cissus and BA. It is a great supplement.

i have been using cla at four caps per day for about a year now. i started using it after losing a ridiculous amount of weight and i think it defiently helps me stay lean. i have put on about 60 pounds since january, most was just rebound muscle from overdiet, but have only gained 3% bf. Not all CLA but it has helped, IMO
