Jayson just simply said we start light to make sure your in the meet then we will make the appropriate jumps said he knows I can handle the weight I'm shooting for just need to do it. I can't fail the whole crew is coming up don't want to let them and myself down

Today 8-3-14
Bench opener
Current weight at 5:30 am was 220

No Preworkout
Intra-compete

Warm-up
Mixture of pulldowns/DB presses/rasies/Rotator cuff

Worked up to 225 which I thought was going to be my opener. Jayson had me go to 245 which felt good to so somewhere in between will work

Went shopping yesterday picked up so ezekiel bread almond butter and strawberry jam to make a few sandwiches a few granola bars think I'm going to make some bottles of compete as well

Found out I can weight in at Detroit barbell Fri at 9am so that's what I'm going to do

Was 220.3 this morning

Went for a 45 min walk today resisted the urge to do some ab work may not go that way tomorrow thou

went for another walk with the wife this evening to pick my son up from Bible school

This morning was 216.3
45 min walk today

Back remains tight but better then it has been

Still eating 2400 calories a day fat and protein that will change fri

217.3 this morning

1hr walk today with sweats and 2 workout shirts

Was feeling pretty good about myself till I moved my scale tried 6 different sports in my house got as high as 219 and as low as 215 but average was 217 on the concrete and tile so I trust that

Now I'm not sure what to do afraid my scale may suck so should I eat dinner and keep drink or what?

I have never once ran into a powerlifting scale that was heavy at weigh ins. As long as you're below 222.5 at bedtime, you're golden. I know now is the time where you overthink everything, but fear not, you're just fine. Keep eating, keep drinking. I wouldn't recommend fasting 18hrs out unless your scale read 229, rather than 219.

Thanks guys I tend to over think things

I am getting super excited to finally have real numbers like guys the whole crew is coming up so I'm going to help them in the morning before I head up to weigh-in after that I'm hitting up the original pancake house lol

Starts Saturday at 10 am herder only 60 Lifters so it won't be to long

It was bad at all but I'm glad the crew was here or it would have been a pain to know who was in line next

First lost my air
Second I had no leg drive at all

Very happy thou had a great time. very pissed at my bench proformance

Good work man, at least you got the experience, i think for the first meet its probably a lot to get used to lifting on someone elses command, and just the timing. and doing 9 maximal effort attempts. Got a total, and you'll kill it next time.

O any my diet has gone way out the window the past 2 days be back on it in the am.. Welcome back carbs lol

Rob I just take things pretty hard there is no reason I couldn't have at least got the 255 I'm just so pissed at myself

Jayson said now benching for me tomorrow but I'm going to make him let me I see no reason why I can't

Decided I'm sticking with 220 weight class think it's more practical for me so I want to hover between 220 and 230 at all times
