I think I will do DC today. See how it all feels today. When I get closer to November I will probably switch. I will be keeping a close eye on my weight though. DC makes me put on weight like nothing else. Today will be the chest/shoulder/tricep/back workout.

Just got home from the gym. Damn I forgot how much I love DC training. Pretty sure I still have some power left in me. Tried to pull 635 at the end of my workout. Got it to about my lower thigh then just dropped it. Was pretty spent so maybe if I wasnt so worn. Keep in mind the time I deadlifted I got 615 lol.
Lol you are a funny guy on both accounts. 700 is a long way. I need to drop some pudge too. So my strength is going to suffer. It is going to be a hell of a battle to drop weight. DC has always made me gain weight in the past. Will have to add cardio in or I am doomed. Plus Anabeta is supposed to increase appetite.damn, you are going to be joining pat robertson soon!!!!

Deadlift tried 635. Idk what I was thinking lol. Didnt happen but did a lot better than I expected. Will try 615 next deadlift day. Then dropped to 315 for 8,6,4

Ehh been lean if you can haha. Im not that sore in my lower back today. Chest and shoulders are pretty fried though. Triceps are noticeable but not too bad. I hear ya about the diet. I've been eating pretty much anything in sight...Haha. The weight has piled on, but I'm getting a lot stronger, too. Maybe it will pay off next year when I cut back down for my next contest. I need more muscle!

Just finished washing a car. Helped me sweat a bit before I eat. Then later will go do legs and biceps/forearms. My sister's friend said he wanted to lift with me but I will believe it when I see it. I think he only agreed because I said we would do biceps. Im up some weight for sure. Stepping on the scale at 240. Strength is definitely up. Wouldnt have considered trying the 635 before especially at the end of a workout. Obviously some body fat but not a horrible amount added. Acne is hitting a little harder now.so what are your stats right now? and increase in any lifts? body weight? BF? Acne?

I went over to one of my sister's friend's house(who I am kind of friends with too). Was thinking I was going to drink or even stay that long. Before I know it they ask me to drive some of them to pick up beer. We get there at 12:10AM(cant sell alcohol on Sundays here). This guy Benett(Idk) talks the cashier into it and he says just go ahead and put it in the car. I took this as a sign Im supposed to drink tonight.
As soon as we get back I funnel 2 beers. I just keep going because I dont really get drunk off beer. Plus of course all the females there are either engaged, married, ugly, or my sister. Oh ya and this guy my sister has been talking to or whatever is there. Wasnt a big fan of his when I first met him. Pretty much avoided talking to me. Atleast other guys my sister talked to tried to be my friend. Only one decent looking girl there named Alicia. Apparently she is from Chicaga(that is how she said it). So I poked fun of her throughout the night.
Went to Taco bell to get food for everyone(didnt drive obviously). Got back and destroyed some food but was still hungry. Grabbed a ball up paper wrapper for cinnamon twist and ate that. Some one asks "did you just eat that?" didnt really reply except look at them like they were crazy. Then proceeded to take a bite out of a taco still in the wrapping. Do not ask what made me do this.
So funnelling that many beers actually caught up to me. Doesnt ask me how but I ended up putting Alicia in a standing ball and chain(wrestling). If you dont know what that is look it up on youtube and you will realize it probably wasnt a good idea. Pretty much shot myself in the foot there.
Oh ya and at some point I back handed slapped the guy my sister was "talking" to in the chest. My sister wasnt thrilled about that but I have told her on a number of times to stop talking to him. All she does is b1tch about him for this reason or that. Like I said I wasnt a fan from the start. Next day I get a text "Jay is a jerk, we are through, not even friends." My sister should listen to me more often.
Also picked another friend up and spun around like a helicopter. If you havent noticed I dont like sitting around while Im drunk. Some people get that it is just me messing around other not so much.
Woman shows up for a booty call with Chris(guy who lives there). Uhh he has done better. Was a good laugh if nothing more than just because I was drunk.
Since I pretty much facked up any chance with Alicia I called it a night and went to sleep on a bunk bed. Woke up at 6am and drove home. Not my craziest night ever but more exciting than most lately.
Oh ya and my friend Ben is coming back from deployment in early August. Should be able to help push me for my meet. That is if we can agree on how to train. Dont always see eye to eye. We both think we are right.Workout today was biceps, forearms, and legs.

So todays workout wasnt normal. Feeling stronger than I expected. Could be partly because Im doing DC which I tend to feel strong on. But even still these numbers just feel higher than what I have been doing recently.

Rack pulls worked up to 675 for 4 reps. Only used a belt and some chalk. Hands held up fine. Pissed plenty of people off lol. 675 makes plenty of noise coming down lol.
Haha ya I used a prebent bar today. I used to use the deadlift bar but Im going to start using a regular bar. Because the federation Im plan on competing in they use regular bars. It promotes strength which promotes muscle growth......which promotes a good mood and postive frame of mind!!So todays workout wasnt normal. Feeling stronger than I expected. The Lean Gains is a great idea. And some added cardio will do you good also. You don't have to get fat just because you're doing DC. Our weight workouts shouldn't be such high volume and fast paced that we rely on them to keep us lean........that's where diet and cardio come in to play.You give great advice!
