I'm thinking I will rest up for a couple of days. I got some super cissus coming, so hoping that helps
cissus should be a staple for us 'older' guys!!!

Exactly. I'm only 22, but with all the powerlifting I do my joints get the brunt of it, and I'd like to be able to move when I'm 50 (well, at that). Glucosamine & Chondroiton at 1500mg & 1200mg, respectively, e/d. At least 6g fish oil daily, and just added 3g bulk cissus powder daily, all split in 2 doses. Makes a big difference, and I'm hoping keeps me in the gym longer and stronger later on.

What the hell was I thinking. I should've gotten cissus long ago. I knew about it but didn't honestly know if it really worked.

Per Eric Broser I'm switching my training days from 4 on 1 off to 2 on 1 off, so today is an off day. Going to let these old joints heal up a little and let the cissus work it's magic.

Just go for a walk if you need to stretch your legs. Don't run, no cardio, no HIIT. Just enjoy some fresh air or spend some time with the wife if you can. But use your off time for something you normally don't have the time for if you can, that's what I do! You grow when you rest and eat boss.

Day 21
Went with just cardio today. I'm doing HIIT for now as I get a great sweat going, and it really gets my heart pumping.

Heavy bag
1 min on 30 seconds off for 10 mins

Jump rope
2 on 1 off for 12 mins

Burpees
1 on 30 sec off for 10 mins
Love the heavy bag for getting the HR up to "kill" level. Only kidding. Great cardio here.

IForce Joint Help for joint pain relief. Love this stuff added to glucosamine.

I guess I'm now "in" on your log.... Beast Grandpa! Lol

Ya I love heavy bag work! I was training to fight but once I started my bulk a couple months ago I put the fighting on hold.

Made it back to the gym. This time I took my 13 year old daughter with me. We trained shoulders. She was a champ!! She wants to start training with me, awesome!!

Agreed my man! I only get her on weekends and we are usually so busy we don't get much 1 on 1 time so this will give us something we can do together, just the two of us. She wants to get into MMA training as well and I'm perfectly fine with that!!

Took cardio up a level tonight. Ready to pass out now zzzzzz

Heavy bag
1 min on 30 seconds off for 10 min
Jump Rope
1 on 30 sec off for 10 min
Bike
Fat burner mode level 6 for 2 minutes then level 8 for 13 minutes. Average hr 163
Stair climber level 6 for 2 minutes then level 8 for 5 minutes. Skipping a step each time. Not sure what my avg hr was as I think that part was broken. It said it averaged 183 but that can't be right.

Got a blizzard going on here. Kicked us out of the gym even. Wanted to train chest and get some more cardio in but mother nature decided against it lol. Did get a good chest day in though. Went a little lighter again and really focused on the negatives.

Nice bench numbers for negatives. Those kill my elbows as well. Are you adding in glucosamine with the Cissus? I add this to my iForce Joint Help and it really makes a pain free difference.

Thanks bro! Haven't added any glucosamine yet but that's not a bad idea. I've been feeling great the last couple of days, but tend to forget my age and push it a little much sometimes lol

I felt like a puss on decline bench, only doing 165, but taking the 8 seconds through the negative gave me an awesome pump!!

I'm in Box Elder South Dakota. Town is pretty much closed. No work and no gym, and to top it off I'm cutting and all I want to do is eat! Going stir crazy lol gonna end up like Jack Nicholson in The Shining
