Hey Abe, any exercises you can recommend for improving my speed from the floor on deads, and my explosiveness out of the hole with squats?

Depends on what is stopping you from increasing speed on the floor. Besides proper form and pushing through the legs, some exercises like deficient deadlifts. Though maybe it is from a lagging body part as well? Squat wise again form , possible lag, etc... Speed work

Probably just overall quad strength then, yeah? I'll start incorporating some speed work as well. Thanks man, good luck with the rest of it!

My ham strength seems to be a lot higher than my quads, my *******s are strong as hell on deads, but definitely won't neglect either of those. I need some calf gains for sure!

About to put up my new year log, to update you guys. I decided to use less than my max on benching for sheiko planning, shoulders have been killing me. Possibly because my joints are dry as eff. Dont want to end up with an injury, so sheiko is setup lower.

All is well, pretty good day, no complaints. Shoulders are feeling better, so hoping to up my bench stats after 4 weeks.

I actually have run out of MHD not too long ago. It was a good run and put on a solid amount of muscle, also cut some fat.
Would you mind throwing up some before vs. After numbers? I'm interested to see what it did for you.

Would you mind throwing up some before vs. After numbers? I'm interested to see what it did for you.
Before:
155lbs 12-14bf waist 30-29.5inch

After:
160lbs 10-12%bf waist 29.5-20inch
Strength noticeably up from accessory work, but haven't tested main lifts.

You have a buddy to hold the board (for bench) or do you have that cool bar block?
My gym doesn't allow me to bring in things so I use a foam thing they have here

Is there a reason you are watching the weights? DON'T!! LOL, no seriously that is a good way to strain something in your upper back or neck, look straight ahead or slightly upward especially when pulling heavy weights.

Yeah I was making sure Im putting it down right because the rack is kind of small and I wasnt sure how much weight it could handle lol. Good points I will focus more next time, I was just trying to make sure i was getting down far enough and not slamming it because the rack seems flimsy to me

Is the bar short? Looks like the stop collars are on the inside of the rack and the weights are several inches from this stop collars.

Yeah I couldn't fit the bar properly so I had to push the weights a bit off so it would fit properly.. The bar was supposed to be used on this rack, this rack has a built in bar, but the bultin bar takes away from the movement, so I brought a free bar over and used that instead.

Last day of cycle, enjoyed my cycle and put on some solid lean meat and trimmed up some fat. Will continue to do so during pct and for the next few months, lean bulking 1lb per month sounds about right. BP was fine on cycle, checked today and it is normal range, urine was always clear, strength on accessory work went up.
Before:

After:
160lbs 10-12%bf waist 29.5-29inch

I'll be running this soon, Abe. Thanks for the great log! I'm thinking I'll run it in the spring for a recomp. As you suggested, I think I'll run DHEA/Preg and Osta with it and see how it goes! Where did you end up on your dosing?

Any before and after pics?
New phone, so lost all my before pics.. I will see what I can manage to find, might have something on my computer at home

The present is a present for a reason! ha. It was a smooth cycle, except for joints, but BP was fine and overall health is good. Of course I'd need to get bloods done to check liver, but feels good

Yeah good to have ya along, Osta is some good stuff for the joints. I stuck with what I posted on the first page, slin has been peaking my interest tho.
