Zoloft and P.E.

I really didn't know where to post this, this looked like it may be the most appropriate forum; I just hope I get some replies here.

I can't remember at which point I developed Premature Ejaculation (embarassing I know, but it's easier since I can hide behind a monitor.). I know that I didn't always having this problem but I suppose that's irrelevant. At one point I had gotten a script for Zoloft, not because I was depressed but because I had read about it's properties to prevent orgasm. I gave it a try and it didn't prevent it but I was able to run like a champ in bed. You would think I was a porn star doing an 8 hour video shoot or something. You get the point. I was very pleased with the results and a small dose (25mg) was enough to change the way I peformed in the sack but not numb me at all down there.

Does cialis/viagra that work for Premature ejaculation? I thought that was just to help you get it up? I get it up just fine, my problem is that I finish to early. Will this delay orgasm?

If so which is better for this Cialis or Viagra?

Some of the SSRI's actually cna cause anorgasmia or delayed ejaculation. Speak to your doctor adn see what other options you have. Antidepressants may not necessarily work the same for you as the next man. Best of luck.

Don't consider any of the ED drugs at this point. Their use in this setting is not indicated whatsoever.

I misread the post then. I was thinking erection was the issue. I dunno, think about margaret thatcher naked on a cold winters day?

I had erection problems on prozac....moved to zoloft and no more problems. Nowadays I'm completely off, and still no problems.

Just want to make sure everyone understand's I'm not having ED (erectile dysfunction) but instead PE (premature ejaculation).

I'll probably end up going to the doctor and getting another script for Zoloft since I didn't get any answers for alternative solutions.

Another thing I found that makes me go forever before reaching clima is Norco, but there's no way a doctor is going to write me a script for that.

VIagra is the short term pill, meanig take it a few hours before oyu plan to do the deed and it will last a few hours. Cialias allows for a larger window of opportunity in that you can take it in the monring and it should still be good for the next 24 hours or so.

Make sure you give antidepressants a fair shot. It takes 3-6 weeks to see effects.

I did for about 3-4 months actually it helped at the time but in the end I felt it was making me have pretty much fake emotions or none at all....it was zoloft, never tried anything else. i want to get some xanax or valiums though....thanks for the answer too btw.

the xanax and valium are two compounds in the same family (benzo's) and are used ONLY for anxiety/panic disorder, status epilepticus or occasionally for individuals with phobias (stage fright, flying). I am not aware of an indication for erectile dysfunction or for delaying orgasm.
