1st day back at it in over a month. 2018 has moved fast. Finally got my wife's car fixed, after she was rear ended the day before my December meet, their insurance was stalling for a while...my 7yr old has had the time of his life playing his first season of basketball...mandatory 16s @ work have slowed down a bit....ooooo, and dem BIRDZ are WORLD CHAMPS....still haven't wrapped my head around that one yet, but loving every bit of it.
in other news, so out of shape. Squats were easy and moved fast, just crazy out of breath afterwards, lol....easing my way back into it.
Man I just noticed that you are damn near nose to wall when racking and unracking the weight. You really don't have any room for error in there. I bet it was a little weird unracking the weight the first time being that close.

mandatory 16 hr shift (midnight to 4pm), + maybe 3 1/2 hrs of sleep, and another 8 hr shift @ midnight last night, absolutely wiped me clean...I had no desire to lift the remote, let alone any weight, and after the 1st set of F. Squats @ 225, I almost called it a day...eventually lowered the weight for the remaining sets, as well as on all subsequent movements, and wrapped this session up as fast as I could.

Really don't like getting mandatory myself since it takes me forever to recovery. Don't mind my Thurs or Friday though. Doesn't happen to often for me since there are a few people who love to take all the OT they can get.

Wife and I went to see Rampage too. It was also good and was just a generally fun movie.

I liked the first Thor, the second was meh. Ragnarok could have been great, but they ruined it with poorly timed jokes that just weren't funny. That rock golem that the director played should never have made it into the movie. He was terrible, worse than Jar Jar Binks.I liked it but it didn't really have a much of a real story line like the other marvel movies. It seemed like it was just meant to be more whimsical and fun to watch. I think they realized how much people liked the humor and fun poking between Thor and Hulk and wanted to make a fun movie capitalizing on that. Not so much a major story line. In all honestly I think the Thor movies have been the most lackluster out of the ones I have seen and I own all 3 of them.
Although I haven't seen Ant Man yet.
The first Guardians was so awful that we didn't even bother seeing the second.def had a lot of moving parts, but at this point Marvel can do no wrong....thoroughly enjoyed it! ...and Ragnarok was a pleasant surprise, thought it would be cheesy...and other than Deadpool, Guardians 2 was as funny as I can remember, while also being a solid film.

Took a voluntary 16 hr shift on Monday, not expecting to get hit with a mandatory 16 hr on Tuesday, but I did, so before I blinked it was Wednesday, and I just was not up to lifting anything but a xbox controller...Fronts Squats moved well, but pressing is still lagging, last few reps of OH were way harder than they should have been.
Exhaustion can do that. You have been go go go in regular life so recovery is harder on you.
