No it doesn't though sometimes it may seem so but most people never clearly read the verse in its entire text. That's why I only use one version, it's the other perversions that contradict!

I still dont see how it goes against the bible. And mormonism teaches that we have always existed. And Christ says things like "from eternity to eternity."
And mormonism gives you something to look forward to. Even a paradise would get boring without progression.
What verse in the bible would make god having a body impossible?
How is mormonism a doctorine of devils? ha.
Though I have a personal distain for mormonism, I still cant ignore its good attributes. For instance they always out-do the US Government in disaster relief

The Bible clearly states that God is Spirit. If you want to believe that he has a body then go ahead but it's not scriptural. It's a doctrine of devils because Satan said it to Eve In Gen. 3:5 and clearly Mormonism is following this path. You question what God said and believe Satan- you can become like god.
Beside the Book of Mormon has never been proven archaelogically like the Bible has which explains why the Book of Mormon has NO maps! The Lamanites never existed!

I think both books are crock. The bible was just more meticulously historized to give it the appearance of being authentic.

Jesus healed other people who had devils so there's something else going on in Mark. I've always heard it interpeted as a black woman begging him to heal here daughter....and thus my disgust for the story

Hitler was influential because the Jewish Population in Germany basically owned the country so no one could do business without renting land from the jews at exorbitant rates. God had nothing to do with it. If he did, I dont know how any conscionable person could worship him

That story is not referring to a black woman, she was Greek. God had nothing to do with the Holocaust. According to Hitler, he believed Jews were 100% pure ape and blacks were close to pure ape. His hatred for the Jews was so strong.

When people are enslaved, they have sex so there kids are born into slavery. I don't know what else to say.
About the conflicting accounts of Jesus can you please me more specific as to what you want. Those accounts fit together like a glove. It's all about timing just tell me what you want to know point by point.

So there were no existing children alive when god enslaved the jews? Also, should not the perfect being be able to free those children born, or are we looking at yet another example of injustice commited by this "benevolent" being?
Example: Slaughter of all lfirstborn children in Egypt (aka Passover). Oh? What did those babies do to deserve slaughter? Nothing? How moral of him.

Punishments handed out by god are never fair, and often are put upon the innocent. for example according to the bible, women are still punished for Eves sin with morning sickness and all the other unpleasant aspects of pregnancy.

I read a book my friend gave to me called "The genesis race" similar to what you said, interesting but mostly a waste of time.

Of course there were children alive. The only conclusion is that those children paid the price when there parents rejected God.
Those babies that died during the passover in Egypt was a result of blood not smeared on the door and since Egypt turned their back on the 1 True God and turned to their own gods for help against the Almighty they got what they deserved! God is a Jealous God!

Sometimes I guess it sucks being born in the wrong family. Fror instance a child is raised in a family of abuse and violence and that child is hurt physically all the time. Is it God's fault that child was born to those parents? No.

What did the children of Egypt do to deserve to be SLAUGHTERED by angels SENT BY GOD??
The actions are indefensible...and this is usually where christians retreat into "well, who are we to question god's will" and "he has a purpose for everything he does" which again brings god away from any kind of moral designator and either makes him blatantly IMmoral, or at best Amoral.

I think it is up to the woman, and no I do not believe that embryos and blastulas are anything remotely human...they are simply potential.
Partial birth abortions? Not so much...at that point it becomes tricky and depends on the circumstances.

First of all, I do not claim to be some perfect, absolutely moral being demanding unquestioning worship.
Second of all, I just clarified myself regarding the status of collections of cells and the fuzzy line of where a foetus can be considered truly human AND viable.
Check your old testament, and tell me how many times the jews were COMMANDED by god to go and slaughter whole other tribes - men, women, children...or to slaughter just the men and mothers, keeping the virgins and young girls for themselves (to be raped and made into slaves, of course). Remember...on COMMAND by god.
This is your perfect, benevolent being.

I have no idea...this is the only answer I can give in regards to this stuff.
I have to say this isn't the behavior God wants us to follow, and isn't the message he sent through his Son.
I was a huge skeptic, and did a ton of searching (but whisker said something earlier I need to check on) and came to the conclusion I've been tooting all along here.
I found what I believe to be the ticket to starting eternity on earth, I escaped sin...in a way...that's really hard to explain. WHen I was younger I got all mixed up in reaching enlightenment and other stuff, but had some serious doubts after a while on being able to accomplish this through other teachings, I picked up a bible and instead of reading it from the beginning, I read it from the new beginning... it started a huge change in what I thought. Not until just recently did I figure out some important things (grace), and I will say I found enlightenment that keeps me in touch with the REAL world, in it's raw state, if that makes any sense. I found a true strength and happiness, I never realized I could have without taking off to some mts. top and secluding myself from reality. I have to admit there are things I can't explain, but the truth that I have tattooed inside me is real, and I wish I could share it with everybody.
I have no doubt in heaven and I have no doubt I found the way there, OK sometime's I have doubt, but in comes FAITH to save me. Not many of these conversations end, from my end, without that word do they
