Why aren't you taking Pro-nos?

Or he just might pray to the God of actinos. If it was a super ingredient every preworkout would have it in it. All these sup companies are looking for that super ingredient if this was it , it would be in everything by now.

I still don't know what they are and I still have gainz but maybe with those I'll see GAINZ

I didnt attribute that to the actinos. I do notice recomp from things like citrulline where my shoulders and arms get bigger and my waist shrinks. Its possible the benefit im seeing relates to that, but it may just as well come from this protein being extracted for medium chain length. Also, i havent studied the oils added, so i cant rule that out

Ok I'm a new guy here and my knowledge pales in comparison to the dudes that have already responded but how the hell do you contribute citrulline to recomp effects. Citrulline is a preworkout ingredient to aid in lack of fatigue and increase blood flow leading to pumps that has nothing to do with recomp effects.

Did I get that right guys? Lol

That is a weak argument. Plenty of companies have novel ingredients that are awesome, and the rest just sell what bulk providers push to them or have lying around cheap

thescience - I truly admire your perseverance and effort in defending Pro-nos. But please bear in mind, if you haven't gotten the point already, no one else in this thread agrees with you at all.

I commend you taking time out of your day to respond to each person individually on the subject... but realize that you aren't changing anyone's opinion on the overpriced product, and you're looking rather foolish in your attempts. Enjoy your weekend sir.

no supplement companies jump on any bandwagon to sell product especially if it's going to make you walk funny.

Just remember, no one has to agree with him. What's right is right if no man is right, and what's wrong is wrong if every man is wrong.

There is always the possibility we are all wrong and he found something.

I've been on both sides of this, and if he he is right, he shouldn't quit just because everyone says so.

VaughnTrue did make a pretty strong case that was elegant and simple and didn't require anything more than an ingredient label and application of knowledge and thought .

A study showing actinos do something may change the argument a little, but the inclusion of a decent ingredient doesn't make this a great supplement when everything else is lower end...you could just take actinos with chicken.

In case anyone doesn't know what ActiNOS is, it's a prop formula from Glanbia:

Actinos® Nitric Oxide Synthase Activator Systems

Actinos is a product for sports nutrition consisting of selectively enriched bioactive peptides and proteins to boost intravascular nitric oxide production and promote vasodilation. Note: Product sold under the CFM Nitro brand name in the EU.

If I cared about "pump" (I've progressed nicely with low-med reps/heavy weights w/3min rest intervals) I'd prefer Beets, or maybe KNO3 in a pill.

yup, this is why I asked for a study showing actual MOA and dosing so we can view its potential effects as well as compare it to the dose found within the formula(which is proprietary so we're SOL there unfortunately)

You'll all be sorry when he's walking around with his huge muscles and giant erection

You know, that's the thing. It isn't always about doing things "right" in life. I've seen people lose 100 pounds on "low carb" diets where they ate special K chips, flat bread, etc. constantly. They just didn't understand what a "carb" was and kept telling everyone they were avoiding them while every time I saw them eat it was solid carbs - but they were determined and reduced their calories enough and exercised enough that they were successful anyway. Now they tell everyone how successful they were on low-carb diets, and I just laugh to myself.

The fact that I know what a carb is, won't help this person at all if I teach them what is "right". It will just reduce their determination and make them feel stupid. Sometimes, ignorance creates success.

I tried this stuff once, I got zero pump out of it, tasted good, but not so impressive profile for a protein....if you want pump get a real pump pre, like high volume or usp labs....
