Soooooooooo... as you are all very aware at this point, we have had to do some calculated reformulating on our end to replace AMP. There are going to be those that at first will miss it, there will be those that are happy due to not being a big fan of AMP and there will be those that fall somewhere in between. That's okay, to us the most important part of offering supplements to our customers, our life-blood, is to be able to offer our supplements to the largest amount of people possible, while still offering the best damn ingredients possible at the highest doses on the market. As consumers of our products, I really don’t have to tell you this as by now, I think it has been realized that we always aim to create the best product possible.
All that being said, as you guys are aware there was some negative publicity in regards to AMP citrate and while there are those that really like to use it, some do not and in light of the negativity a recent article brought to other products we thought it best to completely remove it from any and all products. To include any international products we may have been thinking of releasing.
BUT in Olympus Labs style, we decided to make up for any perceived holes that consumers might have thought would be had due to the loss of AMP. Let me assure you guys here and now that we have made up for any losses by adding MORE ingredients and another stimulant in its place!
The stimulant we have added is one that Neuron himself went onto describe as being the most promising replacement for 1,3… we scoured studies looking for a new stimulant and landed upon Higenamine as the most promising replacement. We thought of synephrine but it doesn’t have the potential that higenamine does. We threw around the idea of PEA or beta-PEA but these really lack the half-lives that we would want our users to experience. What good is an ingredient that only lasts 8-15 minutes? Well, I suppose if you are the only person that participates in gym sessions of 8-15 minutes it might fare well for you but this is just not realistic.
But wait aren’t there half-life issues with higenamine? Well, being the intelligent forum bros that you are you know the answer is yes but we made up for that by again increasing another ingredient in our formula. One of the reasons that Higenamine is metabolized at such a rapid pace, greatly decreasing its half-life, is due to glucuronidation. This seems like bad news; however, knowing this is great news because we can inhibit this process thereby increasing the half-life of higenamine. We already had a nice dose of bioperine in our formula but have now raised it to inhibit the glucuronidation process that is responsible for higenamine being metabolized so quickly.
So here we are, CONQU3R has been reformulated with a new stimulant and stimulant protection ingredient that we think will balance it out very nicely making AMP simply long forgotten. We have also increased a few other ingredients just to show any of you that may miss AMP that we’ll do whatever it takes to not only make up for the loss but improve upon it:
We have increased Glycerol to a whopping 2 g, not only is this the the high yield form of GMS but now it’s a heavily dosed high yield form of GMS. We didn’t stop there, we all know how much everyone enjoys Amentoflavone and have noticed the increased demand for a little higher dosing of it, so we went ahead and increased Amentoflavone in both versions (stim and nonstim), the non-stimulant version receiving the highest dosage at 120 mg and the stimulant version coming in at 100 mg. Why did we do this? Again, we had the room and were able to increase these ingredients while keeping cost low for our consumers, so I guess the better question would be – why the hell wouldn’t we!?
Another thought that did cross our minds was to implement Citrulline Malate at 1:1 to get more of the endurance benefits than to merely elicit pumps but, with Amentoflavone being increased and having a huge dose of COP at 2 g, we thought it better to maintain the industry standard of the 2:1 ratio. I think by now its rather apparent, if there is the possibility to add ingredients where we can or up the doses while still keeping prices as low as possible that is exactly what we will do. Another thing to consider is that we at Olympus Labs actually lift and train. We’re not CEO’s, we’re not greedy business men that are aiming to line our pockets by making inferior underdosed products. We’re the dudes that will be right next to you in the gym yelling at you to get that next rep! We’re the guys who actually use our products and have designed these products to work! With doses that set a precedence for other companies to try to keep up. We just want to do right by our consumers, nothing more. Changing the industry one product a time is just icing on the cake!
