Yes this coupon code is going to come in handy. Maybe my wife will be more lenient with letting me spend on this order, as it means more baked goods for her.

Select Protein Chocolate Cake

Entire cake is 760 calories:
100g protein, 50g carbs, 20g fat

6 large slices makes for 130 calorie chocolatey snacks.

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups pumpkin puree
3 scoops Select Milk Chocolate Protein
1/2 cup egg whites
2 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup almond flour (or regular for less fat)
1 tbsp + 1 tsp vanilla extract
6-8 g stevia, I used 5 for a more dark chocolate taste
Dash of baking powder
Dash of salt

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients, mix with mixer or immersion blender. It will come out quite thick. With all the pumpkin in it you might expect pumpkin taste but trust me it just adds a lot of volume, healthy nutrients and fibre, and makes for a great texture when smothered in chocolate which is all you will taste.

Pour batter into a cooking spray coated baking dish, I used a pyrex 9" round pie plate, any of similar size will do fine. Place into an oven preheated to 425 for 25-30 minutes, when a toothpick comes out clean it is done.

Top it if you would like to, great as it is though.

Enjoy!

How did that taste? Looks like a lot of dry and over powers the wet

Looks big!

I was surprised at the size, this will be a commonly baked thing for me now as its fairly filling as well.

It is on the dryer side, some may prefer add some additional wet ingredients (yogurt/apple sauce/milk) but this was just how I like mine personally. Tried it topped with CnC ice cream and loved it, added the moistness as well.

I refrigerated mine and it does get fairly dense, more brownie-like

Select Trifecta Cake

The biggest problem with Select protein is deciding which to use when the time comes; they all taste fantastic. I have a solution for you,

Invalid Link Removed

Use all three.

Went with a simple protein angel cake style recipe to make this so it would turn out.

Entire cake is 970 calories
123g protein, 99g carbs, 12g fat

Ingredients are for the middle cake for simplicity. Bottom layer is 150% everything, top is 50%

1 scoop Select protein
1/3 cup pancake mix
1/4 cup egg whites
1/4 cup greek yogurt
1 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce
Splenda to desired sweetness (I used 4g)
2 tbsp almond milk (add until thick batter)
Dash of complimenting flavour (vanilla with CnC, cinnamon with Snickerdoodle, Cocoa with chocolate)

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, I just used a whisk. Transfer to a flat-bottomed microwaveable bowl or pyrex. Varies by which cake size you are making, this will take roughly 3 minutes on a medium power setting. Watch it doesn't overflow. I needed a lower (30%) setting for the top cake to prevent overflowing. The bottom cake needed 4 minutes to cook on half power.

Stack it up, ice it if desired,
Or show some PES love like I did:

Can I jsut add that I finally tried the CnC on it's own yesterday (yeah, i'm late to the party - been enjoying Snickerdoodle too much!) and wow! Amazing flavour.

It's crazy that Chocolate (although also delicious) is probably my 3rd favourite! I'd say SD first with CnC very close behind.

Just wanted to share that... carry on.

:P :)

Yep, mixed mine up in about 8 oz of full cream milk and had a party in my mouth.

Still enjoying SD with half a banana, 1/2 cup oats, TBSP of raw honey and just a dash of nutmeg with full cream milk as my PWO shake of choice at the moment.

I wish other members were local, I can't eat that whole tiered cake alone I am still working on other baked goods in my fridge.

Wife is tired of me taking up a whole fridge shelf

This photo is incredible.

Extra kudos for creativity.

Anyone try their coupon code yet? Mine doesn't seem to work...

Doesn't work in conjunction with the Insider if that was your intention

Originally i did try it like that even though I saw the disclaimer ;) But I went back and just put an ep and abe in my cart to try and same result

Originally i did try it like that even though I saw the disclaimer ;) But I went back and just put an ep and abe in my cart to try and same result

I think the codes may not work until the Insider is finished, the email I received said 'you may use the code after the Insider deal'

We may have 5 days to wait

I'll keep you guys posted. Working it out with Kara now.

So here's the scoop... The coupons wont work for any of the insider items during the insider sale since they're alread "on sale". Kara said she could probably do it manually if you ask her and let her know the order and can't wait til the insider sale is over. Coupon never expires though so no big deal unless you need your goodies ASAP.

Best customer service I've ever dealt with as she was getting back to my emails in minutes and sorted/explained everything perfectly. Kudos to PES yet again.

1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberry
