Who trains legs?

So, after I asked jtmass what his quads measured because he had a beefy set of wheels, i thought, “why not start a thread that shows leg progress?”. We see it ALL the time here on AM, Upper body pictures only (which, that’s fine. Your transformation may entail upper body movements only) So, I wanted to offset all the upper body pictures and show the Quad/Hams some attention!

I’ve taken measurements as well for accountability so you don’t see me proclaiming “24in” circumference with nothing to verify it against. I’ll get my leg pictures up tonight!

Seriously. Great Idea.
It's tough for me to grow my legs. I still hit them first on my full body workout but not being able to squat makes is tough.
I get a little growth on the hack squat machine and a nice Hammer press we have at the gym. But nothing beats squats for adding meat!
Damn I miss squats front and back!
 
My left leg is about 1 1/2" bigger than my right (Bad Right Knee)
 
I did not get a picture, but I did get the tape out yesterday. Left 24" Right 23"
 
Just need calf gains I work them hard, it's just genetic.. but will be going harder in order to match my quads

I actually knew a guy who was built exactly like that. However he had MASSIVE QUADS! He had quadzilla tattooed on his quad and was massive but from his knees down he looked just like that and it looked so weird.

You and me both. You can still build massive legs with leg press though. Your legs muscles don't have a clue whether they are being stressed by squats or leg press. To them tension is tension. You just have to add things in for glutes to get rounded out.

Hmmmm.... can I post one up from before i got put in the boot. It has been almost a year now since I have been able to squat or leg press anything heavy at all and a good 8 months of no squatting, leg press or dead lifts... I have definitely lost size for sure...

Here is what my legs usually look like. I might try to take a pic of them as they are now. I think they are probably still somewhat impressive even with all the atrophy. I am guessing they are probably 25-25.5 right now, and were about 27 here give or take a 1/4 inch either way.

Hard to get a good pic of my legs but I found one from 2 month ago. Not much but hey.... Bird legs run in the family. I don't have a long floor mirror in the house, Use to years ago but my son broke it.

A little over 26.5" on the L (pictured), about 26.25 on the R. I suppose all the squats that I have done and absolutely hated have been worth something - like not being able to find jeans or shorts that fit without buying a waist 4" too big and having them tailored.
 
I would just eat more so the waist would fit !!
