I thought the rule used to be it's illegal to purchase inside the US, but not illegal to have possession of inside the US.

My dog had an umbilical hernia when she was bornded. When we took her in to get spade, the vet charged us $15 to have it fixed.

Basically when I'd put her on her back to give her belly a raspberry, it would puff out. It was big enough I could damn near put my thumb in it.

A torn abdominal wall is what it is....I think.

She's all better now though.

well it been 2 days since right next to my bellybutton i have some pain, but only when i touch it, and i dont feel pain when i lift something heacy or feel it grow while doing that . it just hurts when i touch it, i cant tell if theres a lump or something maybe a bit swollen but not sure
 
I thought you were gone for 24-48 hours E, not 24-48 minutes...

Where is all this banana-ness that I'm missing out on? The BDS are entertaining if nothing else.

As far as hernia's it depends, there are a variety. Wilman was correct in that most hernia's are a tear in the abdominal wall that allows intestines to poke through a little, but it doesn't need to be a full tear. I had a double hernia (both sides) when I was 3 or 4 and have the scars to prove it...wanna see? If you answered yes you are definitely ghey:blink:

Btw after returning from the gym I am ashamed...there were a handfull of older gentlemen 60+ who were tossing heavier weight than I was and looking HUGE. Welcome to the YMCA. :nutkick:

One of my teammates in high school swam for an entire season with a hernia. It was painful, but its not life threatening or anything. Although with heavy lifting, I'd definitely suggest seeing a doctor.

well the weird thing is that it only hurts if i press there. i can lift heavy or something like that and it doesnt hurt
 
I'd definitely get that checked by a doctor Zombie. It may be a small tear on the inside of your abdominal wall. This might be the reason it only hurts if you press directly on it. However, I am not a doctor, so I can't tell you for sure. But it'd be better to get it checked out and be safe, rather than further injure yourself.
 
i really reallly dont like going to the doc(i went to the hospital several times foy surfery when i was little i hate doctors office and hospitals), im going to give it a few days of rest if it doesnt get better im going to the doc
 
Sounds like a plan Zombie. But I wouldn't worry about not being able to lift, it may just be a deep muscle strain as well. I think a few days rest can't hurt, but if it IS a hernia, only thing to fix that is going to the doc's.

Def rest...if it's a muscle strain like Nabisco suggests, you won't know if you don't rest. You may want to ice it as well.

Viva la Familia...however, we have lost our Mero Mero due to collateral damage from the BDS implosion.

That does suck!
 
Heh, no one really notices/cares if Im in my office or not. The guy who had my job before me was worthless. I get everything done 10 times faster, so they leave me alone the rest of the time. :thumbsup:

Some jokes are better left undone - sad really, because it was really just a prank that I was going to clear up... but oh well.
