Yeah, thats my concern too, so i've been spending time looking at videos. and working with lower weights, but by using tempo and also a little bit of isometrics, how much weight isn't really all that important.
I'm pretty comfy i'm good on form with squats, deadlifts and good mornings now. Getting better on the others, still a little wishy washy on benchpress. I relied on smith machines for too long
actually I think my shoulders + pecs too. I can feel a bit of a difference in the shower.
I guess i'll run by sams club today and pick up vast quantities of jerky in 1 or 2 oz packs
Weight isn't important. I get caught up sometimes with how much I am lifting. Partly because, before my BB'ing hiatus (6 years), I felt I was strong and a lean mean machine. Being back now for a year and a few months, and still haven't achieved any major goals, because of a sh1tty diet, but I digress...
The bottom line is, you appear to be highly motivated and have the resources and dedication. We just need to break you from over-analyzing, stick to a plan and objective. I strongly believe you would benefit immensely from John Berardi's writings and programs. Check out his site some more and some of the transformations.
