Iv'e started to break out across my face, and some on my shoulders and back.. I wanted to see if someone could point out which supplement is causing me to break out so hard..

Nitrix- only 3 tabs a day
NO- Shotgun by vpx
Anabolic Halo by muscletech

What can i do to help control the breaking out.. seems as if the topical **** never works for me (proactiv)

my diet is pretty clean.. oats/nuts/rice/potatoes/yams for carbs
nuts,eggs,chicken,shakes,other meat for protien

How old are ya, bud? Could be normal hormonal mojo.

Are you showering right after you lift? It could be as simple as that.

i dont shower, but i wash my face and run water on my arms.. take a cloth and wipe my back/shoulders.. i thought anabolic halo was like a bcaa tho.. i must agree it has alot of ingredients but i feel as if it is doing great because my joints have never felt better so it has been great for recovery..

with my skin in general i break out with hives daily, i take benadryl to control that. After i shower my skin becomes really dry, thats when i use a lotion called jergens skin smoothening, it does wonders except latley its been making my skin oily after work outs

Maybe god is punshing you for buying all of those over-hyped garbage supplements.

...Just puttin' that out there. :D

i wouldn't really say overhyped is anything negative, nitrix works, no-shotgun works (isnt overhyped) and anabolic halo has kept my injury free and the recovery has been great.. i have had issues with tendonitis before and thankfully they havent come up at all during the use of it. Sure they are overpriced, but they work..

Funny, because none of those supplements does anything to prevent/alleviate tendinitis. And, yes, overhype is a negative connotation; when something fails to live up to it's expectations, then it is considered to be a failure.

failure? For whom, is a better question. IT is a FACT that some products work better/worse for certain people. Obviously i have had some degree of success with these products causing me to back them up from experience and continuance.

Howabout we take the thread back into the direction it was intended and help the op, instead of flaming him for his "opinion"

If it is from supplement usage, then it is from Anabolic Halo. I'm not understanding the purpose of the two separate NO products, nor am I in disagreement wih the others in their opinions about them. I also think this isn't something to be too concerned about, considering your age.

i build a tolerance to most no products so instead of taking uber amounts of scoops ill just take 3 nitrix and 1 scoop of shotgun preworkout

Dude, anabolic halo is not a bcaa. It has literally a few hundred different things in it and it SUCKS! Muscle Tech is the worst supplement company out there. They target younger kids who don't know much about supplements with their rediculous ads saying you will can 15lbs of muscle using their patent pending jet pulverizing hammer milling cryogenic technologies. This does not even exist, they just make up words to make it sound hardcore and sophisticated. What it really is, is a bunch of shiit thrown together in tiny doses so the ingredients do nothing but a placebo effect. Notice they don't even state how much exactly of each ingredient is in the product? If you break out in hves on a daily basis, that is NOT GOOD! You are allergic to something in one of the mentioned products. Did you start taking all of these at the same exact time or did you add one in later than another? As far as showering gos, buy a soap that moisturizes the skin and it won't dry out. Jergens is a serious moisturizer women normaly use on their legs and hands to mkake them soft. If you use it on your face it WILL be really oily. Look into getting some neutrogena moisturizer made especially for the face.

welcome to my world man. Everyone stresses hard over acne breakouts. Think about everyday care for it then complain...
END RANT:

On a lighter note....
1. Your age is darn near prime for acne.

2. A rag whip down wont clean and open pores like a shower, sauna, skin soap made for that purpose...etc.

3. Temperature change.(i.e. for me in Chicago.)

4. If you just happen to start lifting, which by the looks of those supps you have,(dont get a ll craby about that statement) it could be from the general stress or lifting or increase(very slight) in test.

5. Protein shakes. Yes, they can do it no problem. I have 2 friends that break out from most and i breakout with use of Muscle Milk(but dear zeus that shyt is good)

6. Switch soaps? I use Dial and a dry up and break out, i use Olay body and i feel soft, silky, smooth all day long with a little Aveeno lotion.

Goodluck.

Abstinence usually works best for me. It not necessarily the healthiest thing in the world to continuously use NO products you know....Anyhow, I would probably discontinue all of your current products and just stick to quality supplements such as a decent creatine and BCAA formula. Hell, an intra-workout protein/creatine product would even be a cheaper and more effective switch IMO.

i have been lifting for almost 3 years now, so you guys think its the halo huh.. ill discontinue it after its done.. (almost done), i have had hives for about 3 years now. Ive tried about almost everything, i guess its just natural now. I have gone periods where i used 0 medication, 0 supplements, no result.

NO products don't actually impart any value to muscle growth other than how you feel. So if they make you feel good, and you get good workouts from them, they aren't all bad. But you are far better off trying to take products with a little bit less of a kitchen sink approach ("Over 71 of the most anabolic ingredients on earth") and go simpler.

Not showering right afterwards is a huge piece too, its probably more relevant. if you just absolutely have no way to do it, then I think you want to go with one of the heavier pore cleansers right after. CVS + Walgreens have a huge selection, this is a nice one

I use it, seems to be the best combination of cleanser with some moisturizers that i could find.

theres a built in shower at my gym, so ill just start showering and using something like you posted.
