I had some digital photography, but after view JC's werk. I wouldn't mind going and getting some more photo schooling.....

Actually I can even do "life experience credits" and exam out and stuff. I could easily hit day 1 of classes with 90+ credits that way, i'd basically have whatever I needed for a degree minus the minimum credits necessary taken directly at that school (usually 24-30). Just the bastages make you pay for those credits, so at $300/credit hr i'm looking at writing a 27k check to do it.

27k what a deal....I wish that was all I owed, or have my parents pay for it like Justice's (BP) did...

That totally doesn't make sense to me that they make you pay for those credits. Because really the only university facilities you would probably use to get those credits is the testing facility or whatever you have to do to get those exams done. What a rip off.
 
Well, that would put me at junior year, with call it 30 credits ($9k) to go. Could be as high as 400/hr so close to 50k total. I haven't looked in a while. i make a nice paycheck as it is, and wouldnt likely make more with just a bachelors anyhow.

How much of the additional 30-40 credits of actual college schooling would be directly applicable to your job?

the answer is "because they can". It sucks for those credits its literally a few hours of a faculty members time looking over your resume/portfolio that you put together, to determine how what qualifies you for the same knowledge as x class in your overall degree plan. they check off boxes, maybe call or email you for clarification, maybe an in person interview or two, and 27-40k later you have 90 some odd credit hours, and only need a year to graduate. some even allow as little as 12 hrs to be taken at the college.

None, it would be all me teaching the teacher in upper level comp sci classes, plus probably freakin world history or womens studies.

Not until I went for masters level would things even apply or possibly be useful

I may buy some more neovar while the sale is on, particularly since I got picked for the PAL contest, so theres not much else i'm able to take :)
 
I'll be sure to give a heads up a while in advance..... give you guys time to get stretched out and warmed up..... snacks stocked near the computer, camelbak on, called into work, maybe get a 'Depends" strapped on to avoid bathroom breaks.... you know how we do.........
