What's up with Stallone

Yep, that was a real good movie. Stallone managed to pull off the underdog role and made you believe it(similiar to Rocky).

Not to hijack the thread, but changing gears, do you think Toby went on gear for the first spiderman ?

Also too I saw that new picture of Carrottop which he looked like he was on something too

Stallone is definitely taking too many drugs or is getting some terrible plastic surgery...I think it's time for him to chill out with going under the knife

Meh, Toby could have done that without any gear. No, more than likely it was actually the SECOND movie he did that for. He had something like 3 or 4 months between the end of filming Seabiscuit and the beginning of filming Spiderman 2. He weighed about 110 pounds for Seabiscuit. 30+ pounds of muscle in 3 months is a tall order even on gear.

Then there's the most amazing growth of any actor I've ever heard of. Christian Bale for Batman Begins. When he filmed the Machinist he weighed 120 pounds. The guy is over 6' tall. He looked like a Holocaust victim in that movie. 9 months later he filmed Batman Begins. He weighed 220 pounds and had really darn good muscle definition. That's 100 pounds in 9 months. ONE HUNDRED POUNDS!! I wasn't evne aware that was possible no matter what freakin drugs you take. So yeah, you best believe he took lots of who-the-heck-knows to prep for that movie.

Nah, Tobey was just lean as hell in spidey 1. Wouldn't need any gear to get lean like that. As for the 2nd 30lbs is easy considering he was coming off of a fast and starve diet to get the anorexia look for Seabiscuit. After one week of a normal diet 10+ lbs would be easy(he wasn't in that great of shape anyway for the the 2nd film(imo)).

Now Bale on the other hand who knows, for the Machinist his diet was an apple a day. 1 APPLE A DAY!! That's all, it, nadda. The same rules could apply but for the defenition that he had I would certainly think something synthetic was happening.

Stallone is on too many drugs or is getting too much plastic surgery. Either way, he needs to chill out and stop both.

Didn't hoopla go down in Australia?

Yeah that's all done with - I think he got fined like $12k and they let him off.

Welcome to the board Wendy! And I agree - he looks a lot different then he did a few years ago, his face has changed and its kinda wierd, because I just have the image of him as a young guy in my mind.

He's definitely looking good for 61 years old though...

Thats interesting you brought up Christian Bale because I was thinking the exact same thing how he gain 100 lbs in 9 months. Even 3 months more for 100lbs is still pretty amazing. He was at the point of death in the movie "The Machinist."

That's the bad aspect of H-Wood, you have to keep up or die, especially if your known for what you look like. Thrown in his very attractive and very younger wife and you have the main reason why extremes are taken.

tobey was naturally lean cuz he was a gymnast my best friend is an asu gymnast when the season is over he gains nearly 20 pounds cuz of glycogen retention. rpen22 rebounded from when i saw him at his show at 165 to 210 a couple months later. sumtimes its the bodies natural reaction

He was actually told to lose 20 of those pounds before filming. So he was bigger at one point.

Woah there, Capt. Timewarp! Not only is this post over 2 years old, you commented on something other than the original topic. LOL!

lmao

Gh use, steriod use whatever, The guy looks great for his age. Not what you can say about arnolds body. In the last rocky movie (rocky balboa) He looked incredible. He was in better shape then the real boxer Antonio Tarver. He looked like he could realistically go toe to toe with that chump if you didn't know he was a professional boxer. If anyone watched the making of that movie the hits were real. Of course it wasn't for knock out but it was real hitting. He trained as if it was a real fight. It was more realistic then the original rocky's. When he's in his wife beater in the hotel room in rocky balboa I said to my wife.. that's how I wanna look when I'm 60 years old. Stallone is the man! That is all. He's still the champ!
