Concerning the 30g protein absorption limit. This is actually a point where I agree with the LeanGains article. 30g is such an arbitrary number, obviously the true number is going to depend on a lot of variables such as individual/genetic factors, size, time of day, previous activity, previous meals.
However it's obvious that there are absorption limits... That if you take in 300g of protein in one sitting, you won't take away as much from it as having 50g x 6meals. Anyway, I think for most readers here, the # is probably higher than 30.
But at the same time, if I had to get in all 300g of protein in an 8 hour window within 3 meals, I would have to eat 100g of protein per meal and I feel like that's just not as efficient. So that brings up a new point, do I really need 300g of protein a day? In my experience, I do. So this is a point of some contention between my usual diet and the lean gains diet that I would have to reconcile. I expect that on a lean gains diet my protein intake would have to drop slightly because I don't want to double the size of my meals.
welcome back unreal ! i would like to get your opinion on this new andromass hype that is going on right now.. the company is comparing it to real test e injections..im pretty sure you are aware of this product... just would like to know your thoughts about it.
Didn't read much about it... saw DHEA in the same sentence and it turned me off. Not trying to be ignorant and closed-minded, but generally DHEA products suck. And I'm tired of advertisements comparing OTC crap to injecting testosterone. BS claims like this are part of why I felt like I needed a big vacation away from the forums.
lol just saw this stuff is 200$. For that price you can get a few vials of test and forget about the uncertainty of a new product.
