Hehe I've had a right giggle on this thread, shows that the best of us do dumb things sometimes.
Gear/supplement wise I'm pretty sure I win. I decided to run a Superdrol cycle 2 years ago when it was still pretty new, after around 4 days of not noticing anything I upped the dosage to around 50-60mg (I don't fully remember, you'll understand why in a few more moments). I was also running the ECA stack, however, mis-understood the dosage guidelines for Asprin and took around 500mg a day. I also wasn't told my family has a history of Ulcers.
My birthday was on the monday, it was Friday and I was going out for my birthday drink. While on the Superdrol and ECA, I got totally smashed and took a full ecstacy tablet (My first ever) and drank to 8am Saturday morning. I was also taking other supplements with all this, including Tribulus and Creatine.
Heres the punchline: I popped 6 Tribulas tablets Sunday night, and straight away began experiencing painful stomach aches. I didn't sleep throughout the night and the pain got worse and worse. The next morning I was crying my eyes out and my mum rang the emergency doctor. She tapped my stomach three times, rang an ambulance on red emergency. I spent an hour having some x-rays and fingers up my bum, they weren't sure what it was but they thought it was either a burst apendix or a burst ulcer, I was scheduled for my operation around 7 hours later but within minutes I actually died and had to be resussed, I was dead for around 2-3 minutes. I had the operation, the incision runs from 2 inches above my belly button, through my belly button, to around 2 inches below it, otherwise known as the incision of indecision my doctor said.
I had had an ulcer burst, it burst through my stomach and through my diaphragm (The bad pain I felt being air escaping and flowing around my body). I was on a Morphine drip for a week, I didn't walk or eat for a week. I woke up 5 nights on the trot in a pool of my own blood, unable to sit up while the nurses cleaned me and helped me drink water, which I wasn't allowed to swallow.
The doctor said I would be out of work for atleast 3-4 months and I wouldn't be back in the gym for atleast a year and wouldn't be fully recovered for atleast 2 years. I was told if I had gotton to the hospital 30 minutes later then I did then I would've died for good.
I was back at work in 3 weeks, back in the gym in 6 weeks. My amazing recovery was down to the fitness I had gained through working out and through sheer determination.
Things I learnt: Drugs are bad mmmkay. Only joking, I still do certain things, however, I research them thoroughly beforehand and I don't just take for granted whats written on the packet.
Pros of being in hospital: Had a bed bath by 2 proper fit nurses while my girlfriend at the time held my hand.
Cons of being in hospital: I had 2 doctors and some mental patient who apparently was a doctor sit on my Cathata which I can assure you isn't a nice experience.
Most emotional time in hospital: My mum sneaking me in a bacon barmcake, and after not eating for 5 days I bursted out crying while eating it and couldn't stop for about 30 minutes.
Yep, pretty stupid. On the girl front however, why do I keep getting engaged? In 2006 I was engaged twice and nearly a third time. STOP IT TOMMY STOP IT DONT DO IT my mates cry out whenever I get a new girlfriend.
