sounds like fun man keep us updated ion the endeavor... I look forward to someday making some money doing what I love as well...I can not wait to move. My fiance and I are gonna be looking for a place with a large work shop or extra large garage (or enough property to put up a steel building) to create a personal training studio. She is fully supportive and on board.... And she has a great job to help the early lean times. I have some big plans for what I am gonna do, what customer base I will be after, etc... This is just probably a year or so away (being optimistic). My plan is a specific client base that will pay a premium to get results.... And the business I should be able to get from referrals should be huge and should drive the business after the first year or so.
But I will have the equipment I WANT and that I know works without the crap.
Im an Xsport Fitness gym rat..
I lift at Cardinal in Beverly when I'm home(Winter break/Summers) They are building a new Xport in Crestwood I may check out. Smaller one, not all the fancy trimmings.I lift at xsport and USA gym in bridgeview

Curling on the squat rack! We eat the people who do that at my gym!
Hope it stays that way! The Gold's over here is turning into a salon-type fitness facility from what used to be a rather solid old school facility with lots of stuff for the rest of the crowd. But not hair off my back, I don't even go there.Gold's Gym. Definitely a "gym gym" and not glamour like my old gym The Rush. Im happy with the basics though.

Yea i was actually pretty happy when i walked in there for the first time. I was like "now this is a gym". Old school weights and equipment, some Hammer Strength stuff but no frills in this place. The Rush Fitness Complex was huge with rediculous colors and noise and people. Great equipment though.

I lift @ 24 Hour for like a tad bit less than $30 a month with no issues.

I have an olympic size pool inside and out, even on the busiest days I never have to wait for any station. All classes are included including the 90 minute hot yoga class I take once a week! I love it!

My house is paid off, paid cash for my car,, all I have is insurance, electricity and life's little luxuries to pay for! Life is good bro!

grngoloco said:The way I see it, either you've never experienced luxury like this, the gym is a low priority for you or you can't afford it. In any case, don't hate because those three things don't apply to me!![]()
