I just got back from my trainer and nutritionist and both siad that at 180lbs and 5ft 11inch tall im at 13% bf and ive gotten a thing i forgot what they called it.....but anyways its were you look in the mirror and you look bigger than you really are so they siad i should trust them with this plan. Now my question would you?
Bulk up to about 200lbs and 16 or 17% bf and that would be done in about 1 1/2 months ....remember im 16 and i train for about 2- 21/2 hrs per day.
Than start cutting after i reach 200lbs and gained as much muscle as possible to about 180lbs or 10-12% bf.

The diet for bulking would be high protien and fat (AD)so it would make my cut a little easier as i go very low carb when cutting and 1 meal carb ups.
My cardio would be 25-30min every day after weights and im looking to join some boxing or get into a hockey boot camp.

Did they tell you that you have body dysmorphic disorder aka dysmorphophobia?

Dude wtf? You are 16 years old. You are going to have the rest of your life to worry about things like keeping a roof over your head, and food in your stomach. Before you know it you will be having to stress over how you are going to keep your old wrinkly balls from skimming the toilet water. Why stress now? Enjoy your life kid.

Second.

At your age all that you should be doing training wise is, well, training. Build up a good physique. Cutting? Dude you don't have anything to cut yet. Build some damned muscle, and stop worrying about bulking and cutting.

Do this:

Go to Nutra, stock up on staple supplements i.e. protein powder, BCAAs, and creatine monohydrate. Then come back here and get in the training forum, and get someone to put you on a good program. Hell I will do this for you if you want. Then get your ass off of the computer, and stay off, don't even surf porn. Then get your ass in the gym and train like a beast. Upon completion of training you need to eat every clean food you can get your hands on. Do this and repeat, and I promise that you will be a step ahead of your peers, and on your way to a lifetime of buffness, badassedness, and health.

You just need to relax man. You are overstimulated from bodybuilding websites. Arnold didn't have the internet, and he did just fine.

It is true man. Just relax, I would kill to be at 13% bf right now. Eat well, train hard, sleep as much as possible, and grow. You are capable of the best natural gains that you will ever be capable of in your life for the next few years. Do what I said above, and you will do just fine.

You only get to be young once, and before you know it you will be an adult. Don't waste your youth stressing out over whether you will spend the next few months cutting or bulking. Instead use this time to be young, and use working out as your hobby, not the center of your life.

when did you start?

I wish I had been interested in weight training when I was 16.

Just for the record, I was unable to bulk on a fat/protein diet, eating between 4000 and 5000cal/day. It's better suited for recomp/cutting (for me anyway.)

When I was 16. I hate to sound like an old fart, but back then most houses didn't have computers, and the internet was pretty much a luxury.

When I decided to learn how to work out I went to K-mart, bought the least gay bodybuilding magazine that I could find, and read it cover to cover 9,000 times.

Then I bought an off brand $60 bench/cement weights set and started a 5x5 program. I did this all summer long, and by the time school started I was 20lbs heavier than when school let out. I still remember hearing girls whisper in class "look how big he got"! Yes, it was a good year.

Like I said: eat, train, sleep, grow.

You almost made me spit coffee through my nose!

Its true, that was the criteria I used when buying that magazine. It was a good choice though, because that first mag was a Muscle Media 2000. Those old MM's are by far the best muscle mags that I ever laid eyes on.

That magazine and that guy (Bill Phillips?) did so much for the world of supplements and working out. He changed the game, for sure.
