Welcome to AM.My name is Aaron and thanks for having me here! I'm 26 years old and have been out of the gym for about 4 years. Over that time I have made some serious gains...but not the good kind lol. Look forward to learning what's new and getting back into shape!

Hey guys, my name's Cody. I'm 23, just married the girl of my dreams and have a daughter on the way. I've been training since i was about 13 years old for baseball, played through my college career in NCAA ball. Decided to not go play farm ball lasgt year after i graduated, but i'm sort of considering getting back at it. For right now, i'm an ACE and NASM certified personal trainer by day, and a waiter by night.
I'm excited to learn all i can from you guys, as i've recently taken an interest in the chemistry behind the muscle. Hope i can make some good contributions!
Primarily catcher, but i'm a lefty who can throw a mean knuckleball, so i'd hop up on the mound in certain situations. Thanks for the welcome!! I really do wanna go on and see if i can make it to the show, but i'm not sure if it worth it to be away from my family that long. I really would love to go on and get my masters (i have my bachelors in kinesiology) and finish with my PhD in sports medicine, and open up a really nice training center. Cater to an sport really. We had a place like that in my hometown, and it was one of the best tools for me when it came to athletic performance.
Best advice I can give you is to follow your heart.
I could have played in college, but I told myself that it wasn't a career thing for me, so I hung it up to pursue to radio side of it. But I constantly wondered while watching if I could have hung with the guys out there (I felt like I could, but it was also D1-AA, so good, but not top tier SEC/ACC/BIG10 talent). I ended up changing career paths to have a "normal" life and I love what I do, but I find myself in the crossroads of making a change that doubles back on what I've done for the last ~10 years.
So the moral of all that is, if you feel like you're good enough and you have a fire to play -- keep playing.
I like your ideas for down the road, man. Very cool.
