Good afternoon to all,

I'm from Bristol in England and have been using the app/site for years without actually contributing so thought it was about time!

I'm 27, play football/soccer depending on where you are from and have been training for around 6/7 years now.

Hi guys,

My name is Parker I'm new here, I'm an Exercise Student at Bowling Green State University, currently leaning out for summer (going to Florida in a couple weeks) and am interested in competing in my first physique show in the near future, and maybe start a fitness modeling career in a couple years.

Hi,

My name is Tom. I'm 38 and I'm from Upstate New York. I've been into bodybuilding since college. I am pretty much addicted :) I am also a runner. I like to run 10k's and half marathons. I'm married and have two kids. So, I wake up at 4:30 in the morning so that I can spend time with my family after work.

Hi!
I'm Tim, as my username shows. I'm 55 years old. I've worked out dedicatedly since possibly mid 1990's or so? I can hardly get out of my house today just to go to the store from conditions....too complex, but I wonder...if it's really one or two things making all of it.

One of which is low T, which is why I am on Anabolic Minds. A Dr. of nutrition saw I had low T (within normal for ranges with the testing place, but too low, she said)....back in 1998? or so. Long story made slightly shorter, it basically was not taken at all seriously by my doctors and left unnoticed and untreated, until, hmm, a few years ago.

In fact, my free T went as low as 25 pg/ML at that time, a couple of years (or 2, 3 or 4?) ago. My doctor was concerned a year or so earlier when it was at 41 pg/ML. I read much more about it, and learned how most doctors (including endocrinologists), including otherwise "good" doctors, don't know much or at all about low T, how to diagnose, test, and male hormonal imbalances. I learned it is far too much for me or most people to deal with, for lots of reasons, is really for a doctor to figure out all the interactions of hormones, symptoms, glands, so forth. I can't afford the few doctors who understand and know how to treat low T and male hormonal issues, so forth; and the tiny few, one, that a person told me of, I can't go to for other reasons. At least my doctor is somewhat open to what I tell him. I got him to give me Anastrozole to lower Estradiol. My hormones are a mess, and I can't figure it out, and should not, but it is my only option, and to work with my doctor.

This is why I came to Anabolic Minds, hoping that other people may know more about low T and all related to it. I have a lot of questions. My blood tests and I are a mess. My doctor and I can't figure it out what more to do with low T. I'm suffering terribly. I have a lot of questions. (I understand that what is written by anyone on this board, probably including if by doctors, is not to be taken as medical advice from a doctor. )

My other issues are complex and I am not sure how much come from low T or the following that you may wish to know. I am at high risk of Lyme and associated diseases. Lyme and other coinfections also may cause low T, and do cause lots of symptoms: physical, mental, and emotional - a lot. Same with low T, most all doctors (including Lyme specialists) don't know how to test for, diagnose or treat Lyme. The situation with this is so bad that many people are misdiagnosed or ignored while they are actually suffering from Lyme infection. I can't afford any doctors who are "Lyme literate," in my whole area of my state and states - just ONE that I could drive to (not close but in my state), so I hope to work with him. Long story, summary is that for a safe, knowledgeable, thorough (important) successful testing, diagnosis and treatment of Lyme and associated diseases, I must prepare a chronological history starting at my birth to today, of all symptoms ("head to toe: physical, mental, and emotional"), places I've been in my life (particularly nature), and other factors. This is critical, and what I am working on, which with my conditions, takes longer. I thought you might wish to know this.

Thanks for taking time to read my introduction to you.

One may be Lyme and associated diseases (which is a whole other story, and "Lyme literate" testing, diagnosis and treatment is a long story. I do not know if I have Lyme or such diseases, and

Hi NJBOWHUNTER!

Thanks, Admin! I am planning to scan that section for articles with a particular topic, and write out my question if I don't find an answer. It may take a while, but it's important.

Hey y'all, my name is Jake... Today (24 July 15) will be the resurrection of a journey I started many years ago. I really got into lifting while serving in the Army. Loved every minute of my chosen career and the very rewarding hobby of lifting that sucked me in from the very first shoulder shrug. While serving I suffered a high impact back injury ultimately ending the career I had chosen and focused my life around... I suffered many failed attempts at regaining the drive and passion that i once had for lifting... I found this app by shear luck one day trolling FB and since then have read many articles and and am now starting to feel that fire again... I wanted to join to not only attempt to inspire others but to also draw support and inspiration. Now that I am starting to regain control of my internal health, I feel its time to shape who i want to be physically and mentally... I am starting a new career in Law Enforcement so I figure why not just change everything. Hope to see many of you along this journey.
