Do you work a full time desk job? That definately makes things a little tougher. My girl works From home at her desk all day on the computer. I had a few female clients last year the same and building there diets is tough because the lack of activity makes for a low calorie demand. Building on those steps is a great idea. I have my girl eat 2 small meals from her desk at 10am and 2pm so she can use her lunch break to go for a walk or do some cleaning. Basically just do something. I would hate to waste my lunch like that but I'm also up-and-down ladders and moving around all day.So I like to sit still and do nothing at all at lunch lol.10,300 steps today, managed to get out at lunch and get a walk in what a nice break from the desk that was.
It’s hit or miss if I have a construction project going I’m on site and and least get to move but I don’t really do any work (field engineer/inspector). So lately all this rain has messed up all my bridge projects so I’ve been in the office. So yes I do spend a lot of time at the desk or driving sadly.Do you work a full time desk job? I love doing oddball **** like that. Sleds, tire flips, sledge hammer, battle ropes, high rep clean and press with lighter weights and bumper plates.
Im thinking about Getting a kayak To power my way up and down the shoreline for a good workout.
Pretty much.Anything's better than running for me lol.

Thank you! Ya i havnt been as active. I had some issues/family problems to deal with earlier in the year and it stressed me out so bad i actually got sick from it and kinda just shutdown. Parents are in there 70's now and its showing. Dads burned through a lot of his retirement gambling and making really bad out of character Financial decisions. Daughters going to college but her and her mom are going at it bad and Im doing mom stuff now lol. I burnt out, but im working on it. Taking her to tour University of Vermont Friday and hopefully she likes it there because they gave her enough Scholarship money that i could pay the Remainder out of pocket without getting krushed!Anything but run is the name of the game. Cardio comes as necessity at our ripe age of 39. Happy belated by the way! Haven’t seen ya too much but hope all is well.
Keep on truckinGym time 5:15am-6:15am
Warm ups stretch
45 minutes on the treadmill slight incline walking with some jogging mixed in.
Yeah that’s what I had figured as well, no worries here just noted it for feedback and to look back on down the road. This weekend with some additional sleep I believe it will flush outYa you made some program changes I wouldn’t sweat it. Increases soreness can increase water retention in the affected muscles and increasing cardio can potentially cause initial bumps in weight for some as well.
Amazing!!!!Drove out of town last night by one of the lakes to get out of the light pollution to see if we could pick up some northern light activity. Definitely did it was good viewing for a while.

32 weeks 6 dayshow far along is she at the moment?
I'll have you and the fam in my prayers today buddy
It is definitely scary and uncertain. Definitely have been holding things down and being the rock for her.Pulling for you sir. All of pregnancy and delivery is a scary, uncertain time - not much we have control over, besides choosing to be the support for our wives. That is your job, to be the anchor, so focus on that.
Appreciate that man.Hoping for the best for you man.
So good news update. Basically short story long little guy in the last growth scan dropped down to the 5th percent range. He has been tracking on the smaller side. So we had to go to fetal growth specialist and do Doppler tests and stress tests and more I. Depth ultrasound.
The good news is they are not detecting any fetal restriction or any issues, just on the smaller side at the moment.
We will have to be doing weekly Doppler checks and something else I don’t remember. As long as things stay the same or increase we are shooting for 39 weeks. If things decline they will be looking to get him out earlier. So definitely some needed good news today! Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers.
Appreciate it man, definitely feeling better after seeing the specialist for sure.Glad to hear some good news, will continue to keep you guys in my prayers though, even if everything is perfect it is a stressful time so I hope things go smoothly.
Wow that is an amazing story! Definitely medical health has come a long ways. That’s what the specialist basically said he was like even if everything goes bad and we have to do worst case scenario. C section and just say 34 weeks he’s like there is still some risk but very marginal after the 32 week mark. So that was definitely comforting to hear.Don't stress homie, stay rooted in prayer and remember we have an incredible medical system, especially for babies. My nephew was born at 26 weeks and spent the first 2 months of his life in ICU, during a 40 year snow storm we had up here back in 2019. His odds were low, and he was a million dollar baby. But they take babies very very seriously and right now he's basically bigger and stronger at the age of 5, than his two older siblings. you can even see his little biceps and delts popping. I would not be surprised to see him become a linebacker!!
All I mean to say is that these medical professionals are very very good at what they do and they have to plan for every contingency, no pregnancy is the same and your wife is in very good hands!

Also made a huge improvement on the wife because she kept thinking it was all her fault, despite my best efforts to tell her it was not. So all around a lot better!

Oh you’re good man I didn’t take it any other way, I appreciate hearing others experiences and some times in helps put things into perspective. So no worries I didn’t take anything out of context or anything like that.hey man just to be clear I mean no disrespect to your situation and I'm not at all belittling the stress you guys feel, I just wanted to give you some examples of some really scary situations that turned out totally great because of both medical improvements and in my very strong opinion, the power of prayer and Holy intervention.
My wife is a pretty small woman, she was I think 112lbs when she got pregnant with the twins. Dr said she basically had to have a C section because even if they tried naturally, chances were one was going to have to be cut out regardless. so they scheduled that and did it and my oldest step daughter (by 1 minute, lol) had the umbilical cord tied in a knot. it was another scary moment that led to what is now my amazingly beautiful and intelligent 22yr old step daughters! God is good and our doctors are awesome. You guys are in great hands.
They always do lol. I'm not an evolutionist but we are made to feel a way and this is something that gives her purpose in life, I am sure. like Hyde said, be her foundation of love and support. just take care of your queen and put the rest in God's hands. you'll be aiight!
Yeah I should have dropped it down because it wasn’t working. I’ll keep that in the memory bank for future use !When you come in to train but you know you’re underfed/slept and/or overstressed, it’s okay to take some weight off the bar. You don’t have to put 2 plates on the squat bar if it’s moving like ass - I wish someone had taught me that earlier on.
You have to train with the weights you can handle on the day. At some point those have to go up to get results, but you can’t hope/dream your way to being fully recovered. Sometimes that means going in less often, or curbing your expectations if you do.
Hey good to see you around here! It’s definitely been a lot different then when we had are daughter that was pretty straight forward. Glad that all worked out for you guys I can believe it was a trying time for sure.Solid work as usual in here.
So happy for you and the wife that you got good news. Baby issues are so scary. In the 3rd trimester my wife got food poisoning and ended up in the hospital for 2 days getting fluids and monitoring the baby. That had us a wreck. Then when Sage was born they took her directly from us to the NIC-U and she was kept for like 36 hours. We had to visit her through a glass box and it was terrifying. They basically said since she didn't get wrung out passing through the vaginal canal she still had the fluid in her lungs and was having a hard time breathing on her own. One of the nurses finally decided to explain it in a lighter way and said, she is just waterlogged, we have to put her under the food warming lights to cook off the extra fluid so she can breathe easier. Which made a lot more sense, and sounded much better than the medical language they were initially throwing at us.
Keep your head held high, you all have got this!
That panic feeling of the “unknown” can be the biggest stresser. Glad that things are looking up. Plus the guy mindset of being a “fixer” isn’t always what our lovely women want. I have been taking a totally diff approach lately and have become a stellar “listener”. So much that my wife has asked “Who are you”. Chics dig 225 for sets on bench and apparently empathy….who knew?Wow that is an amazing story! Definitely medical health has come a long ways. So somehow I twisted or did something to my knee last week. I think it was when I slipped on a curb but not sure. So that’s a little bit of a bummer.
